First things first, read the affirmation:
Today is going to be magnificent.
Now, go ahead and repeat it.
Speaking life into and manifesting the life you WANT is so much more productive than focusing on what you don’t have, what’s been “done to you”, and how your life would be so much better IF…
3 Reflections Questions:
1: Is your mantra “It is what it is” or more like “it is what I choose to see”?
2: Do you focus on the negative or look for the positive?
3: Do you embrace a victim mentality and find yourself saying “you can’t possibly understand” or “you just don’t know what I have been through” or are you a victor and say “I am so proud of what I have overcome!”?
If you haven’t had a chance to listen to my conversation with Tara-Nicholle Nelson, the CEO of SoulTour – I encourage you to listen here!
We talked about how to metabolize the past and set yourself up for a magnificent year ahead. Our chat really turned into a “Mini Master Class” that includes Tara sharing the 6 questions to ask yourself every year. She does this practice in December, but these are wonderful questions to ask yourself any time of year!
Lioness, it’s your time to shine… and yes, the best is yet to come!

Happy Moxielicious Monday!
Are you ready to fire up your mindset for the day and week ahead?
First things first, did you read the affirmation above?
Did you repeat it? Excellent. :)
Remember, always choose to shine your truest self.
Live YOUR values out loud.
When you are authentic, it allows others IN and attracts people and opportunities to you like a magnet.
When you FAKE IT, you send a bat signal to people you are NOT meant to serve or do life with.
It’s ok if someone doesn’t get you.
Not everyone will want, like, accept, or know how to receive your energy. Those you are meant to serve WILL.
Those you share values or passions in common with will GET YOU.
PLEASE, make peace with that.
Keep sprinkling your magic and shining your bright, fabulous light!

Let me ask you this; it may help you feel what I am feeling…
Lioness, when did you last write down the DREAMS you envisioned for your life?

Today, I choose to be unstoppable.
First things first, did you read the affirmation?
Did you repeat it… out loud?
What are the feelings you are focusing on while reading these words?
I wholeheartedly want you to encourage you to do to the work… to get to the place where YOU BELIEVE you are unstoppable.
Being unstoppable means being a person others are unable to stop from doing what they are meant to do!
Read these sassy synonyms… do any of them sound like YOU?
Determined
Did you stand a little taller as you read those words?
Were you shouting out a passionate YES!
Lioness – those words are describing you.
YOU are unstoppable.
Right now. This very moment.
CLAIM YOU ARE UNSTOPPABLE.
Focus on your goal.
Trust Yourself.
Be Courageous.
Believe you are worthy!
Two questions to ask yourself this week:
1 – Are you investing in yourself?
2 – Do you have solid, intentional champions in your life who carry you when you need it, kick you in the tooshie when you require it and allow you to speak into them, as well?
If you answered yes to both, celebrate your successes.
Your next step? Go out and inspire someone to do the same.
If you answered no to either one, shake the shame right off and make a change today.
Approach a new mentor.
Sign up for a workshop.
Start a book club or Bible study.
Call and encourage someone.
DO SOMETHING.
Why?
Because YOU are unstoppable and worthy of the life you so deeply desire to live out loud, on purpose, and on your own terms!

I am enough.
How do you feel when you say this out loud?
This week, I thought it was time to revisit WHY these weekly affirmations are so incredibly important.
Believing in yourself and loving yourself are two key ingredients in personal, professional, and global success. To live a joy-filled, healthy life out loud, on purpose, and on your own terms. My heart’s desire is to help you do exactly that… and firing up your mindset is my contribution to your journey.
If that’s what you want, you are in the right place.
Print out the moxie affirmations that resonate with you and post them where you will see them is one of the easiest and most powerful exercises to help you build your self-esteem and confidence. You can achieve anything you set your mind to – so set your mind straight with each affirmation.
Where should you post them?
Post these messages on your bathroom mirror, in your journal, on the fridge, in your car, collect them in a weekly recurring calendar appointment or anywhere that you will be able to see them constantly. Please, don’t let them become an overlooked backdrop to your life and overlook them. Let them become a foundation that strengthens you when you see them and say them out loud as often as possible.
When you have something special coming up, get specific.
Do you have an interview coming up for your dream job? Write a note to yourself with words like, “You’ve got this!” or, “I am the perfect candidate for this job and I am going to totally ace this interview!”
It is proven that reciting positive, life-giving statements in your head or aloud to yourself will manifest that feeling in real life. Remember, this does go both ways… when you repeat negative things about yourself, you cause further damage! Yikes!
Whenever doubt starts to sneak in, or you are having negative thoughts, immediately replace them with a moxie-filled affirmation. It will instantly improve your attitude and self-confidence.
This week’s affirmation can be your GO TO when you are not feeling worthy enough.
Want to say it again? Me, too.
Go after your week, my mighty, fierce Lionesses.

Dearest, it is always a good time to take a moment and review how far you’ve come. To get a clear picture of where you want to go and what you need to do next… and how you can creatively bring your goals to fruition!
Here are 3 questions to help you celebrate successes, get back on track where you need to, and rock out the next days, weeks, and months:
1. Have you been living by your core values?
If you need to define your core values, visit debratrappen.com/valuesexercise!
2. Are you doing at least one activity a day that fills your soul tank?
Be sure you take the time to walk hand-in-hand with a loved one, learn how to say hello in a new language, snuggle with your pup, or paint your toes a wild neon watermelon shade! When we take care of ourselves and focus on fueling our soul tank we lower our blood pressure, live a more fulfilled life and are also kinder to those around us.
Who doesn’t want more of all of the above?
So, take a few moments and review your “soul tank fuel” list and make sure your current passions are on that list! Then, pepper them throughout your day/week!
3. What goals (or tasks) have you accomplished?
How far have you gotten if you wanted to write a book this year? Do you have an editor? An outline? A chapter written?
How about that goal to unplug more from your tech? (Yes, YOU!) Are “turning the world down” when you are with your loved ones? Have you stopped “sleeping with your phone” – at least on the weekends?
Review and write down your successes and CELEBRATE THEM!
Far too often we breeze right past our achievements to start focusing on the “next thing”.
Break this draining habit NOW!
…DO A HAPPY DANCE!
It’s time to CELEBRATE!
Now that you have reviewed and recapped your results…
~ What needs to pivot?
~ What needs to be refined?
~ What do you need to LET GO of to move forward?
Lioness, you are now ready to walk into you fabulous, fierce future with confidence and conviction.

The post Taking Action – Affirmation 17 appeared first on Debra Trappen.
Lioness, recently, we talked about FEAR.
I feel it’s important to share how I see the difference between the feelings we get from fear and the feelings we get when our intuition is whispering to us.
When fear hits – our feelings are heavy, dark, and emotionally charged. Our vision lacks clarity and feels frustrating and overwhelming and creates anxiety because it doesn’t “feel” right.
When our intuition calls, it feels lighter, less emotional, and crystal clear. We can see what we need to do and it inspires a calmness inside of us.
IT FEELS RIGHT.
The mere act of typing those words brings peace and joy… I hope reading them does the same for you.
Intuition is an essential life skill we must all embrace and learn to refine and nurture.
For this week’s exercise – let’s practice my PEACE method. :)
P.E.A.C.E. is about pausing and taking a moment before making a decision. It is the perfect strategy to allows you to tap into your intuition in an intentional manner.
Here are the steps:
Pause: Take a moment to answer any request or invitation. Then,
Examine: Ask yourself: “Does this opportunity align with my values? Does it fill my soultank?” Next,
Assess: Review Your Goals…. Which one does this get you closer to achieving? Now you can
Choose: Yes, you have the option to choose wisely. Not every single decision you make will fit perfectly into your value structure, but when you use this process, you are consciously aware – from the start.
Execute: Now you can confidently and intentionally integrate the activity, nurture the relationship, etc., knowing it will add value to your life – in alignment with your core principles.
Also, I encourage you not to underestimate the power of prayer. You don’t need to be religious to pray. The act of praying slows you down and focuses your thoughts. Lionesses, saying a prayer is a powerful way to enhance your intuitive prowess.
You will become audaciously braver in pursuing your dreams when you are clearly listening to your intuition and focused on the divine possibilities ahead.
Go boldly and passionately into your week, my fierce Lionesses.

Happy Moxielicious Monday!
Are you ready to fire up your mindset for the day and week ahead?
First things first – read the affirmation out loud.
Now, repeat it.
Lioness, are you paying attention to your self-talk?
Negative self-talk is not humility. It’s self-defeat. So if you have been hiding behind that excuse – it’s time to leave it in the past. It’s a toxic habit that crushes your divine right to live your best life or connect with those you are meant to serve.
Today is the day to ditch negative self-talk.
STOP being your own worst critic.
You’ve heard me talk about this before:
That means YOUR OWN WORDS are working against you rather than for you!
It’s time to take control and slay your self-talk into submission.
Start with LOVING and honoring the magnificent, vibrant woman you are today. You have invested so much in becoming her! You passionately continue to work on and embrace becoming the best version of yourself every single day. That deserves some serious love-filled self-talk!
Then slow down and listen to your self-talk.
Really listen.
In true “Fire Up Your Moxie” style, the next step is to flip your negative thoughts.
Flip them for yourself, your family, your community, and for this world.
My dearests, please remember other people’s opinions of you are none of your business or concern.
Your opinion of yourself can change the world around you.
Next time you hear negative thoughts running through your mind – take them captive and replace them with words of affirmation and encouragement. Steward your self talk… and sing yourself a love song today!
I am divinely loved.
Are you singing w/Aretha style sass?
Me, too!
Cheers!

Are you ready to fire up your mindset for the day and week ahead?
First things first – read the affirmation out loud.
Now, repeat it.
This week, I want to encourage you to do something extraordinary.
BE THE LIGHT.
Shine your light on the good stories in your communities, offices, families, and friendship circles.
Don’t let the media be the loudest storyteller…
Take your social media feeds back by sharing those amazing moments happening all around you!
You also have the power to shine a light on and share our own story… the lumps and bumps along with the joys and successes.
What seems like a small accomplishment to you may be exactly what someone needs to hear today to energize them!
Remember, don’t let fear of rejection hold you back. Embrace being vulnerable. It attracts people and opportunities to you more than pretending to be perfect – try it and you will see exactly what I mean!
Lioness, when you are courageous, you truly do create a spark that ignites and inspires others to be brave!
What will you, and your bold, brave heart go after this week?
Leave a comment below and let me know…

My Dearest Pride,
Fear is a liar. It has the ability to dig its claws in deep and shake us to the core… planting seeds of doubt on so many levels. Fear can be incredibly paralyzing and rob us of our divine joy and courage. Its mission is to convince us the worst things in life will destroy us and that by embracing fear itself – we can control it all.
Now is the time for you to reclaim your fear.
When you feel fear, take that as a reminder to bring your fierce curiosity to the moment. Something new (and potentially exciting) is on the other side of it. Did you know that fear of the future is so often a fear of the past repeating itself? It could be something you have personally experienced or seen someone else go through that plants that fear. Knowing this will help you flip that fear and leverage it to do good in your life and leave a positive mark on your heart, mind, body, and soul!
I also encourage you to let fear fuel your courage. Courage sees your dreams as more powerful and worthwhile than the fears keeping you from them. Courage helps you take confident steps on the unknown path ahead without demanding details and promises of perfect outcomes.
To help you start overcoming and flipping your fears, take the time to slow down ask yourself these three questions:
1: What fear-based, limiting thoughts am I thinking, right now?
Even if the outcome you are fearing comes to fruition, remember to keep that sense of curiosity alive throughout it and drop the belief that you can control things by fearing them.
If you can do this, you will be able to find the lessons in the failures without claiming the fear… and ultimately turn them into fuel for your courage, curiosity, and confidence!
Remember, when you take the time to truly connect to your thoughts and elevate them, you are able to live your best life OUT LOUD, on purpose, and on your own terms!
Are you ready to go confidently into your week ahead?
Me, too.
