This message is a call for us to break partnership with thinking that feeds a "poverty" spirit.Kyle exposes some of the key warning signs of a poverty mind-set & reveals what true wealth is in this statement, "Wealth is determined by how much you have of what you most value."There is a prayer that Kyle regularly prays that will help us stay grounded in a wealthy mind-set: "Let not my riches be measured by monetary things, but let my riches be measured in the fullness of my time with You."

Nehemiah gives us great insight in how to handle ourselves in the middle of opposition. This message is an overview of the spiritual "power" struggle that has gone on for thousands of years.Adam & Eve were given all authority & power over the earth in the garden before satan deceived them & stole it from them. Then, satan used that power to hurt God by using mankind as his weapon...our pain & suffering was simply an extra pleasure for him.BUT, when Jesus died on the cross, Jesus took back all the power that satan had stolen. Then, Jesus rose from the dead, went to Heaven & sent us His Holy Spirit so that we could receive "POWER". Now, as believers in HIM, we sit with Jesus in heavenly places with all authority & power. If Jesus has ALL AUTHORITY, then satan has NONE. The devil CAN HAVE power, but NOT AUTHORITY! Now, he can only "borrow" power from mankind by deceiving & manipulating.Power is force, strength or might to act.Authority is the right to delegate power or command an action.Ephesians 6 tells us that our struggle is not against flesh & blood, but is against rulers, principalities & powers of spiritual wickedness...Our war is not against bad behavior, our sin nature, our flesh, our old man or against evil people...our war is a Spiritual War & can only be fought & won on a SPIRITUAL level.

A river only causes a flood or overflow when the ground around it is already saturated...dry places only have flash floods - temporary overflow or excess.Proverbs 4:23 "Watch over & guard your heart with all diligence, for from it flow the springs of life...for it determines the course of your life."The condition of our heart, when His Word comes, will determine the authority & effectiveness that His Word will ultimately have in our lives.We must maintain well-watered soil in our hearts, so that we may be activated when He sends His Word.
