So what're we talking 'bout?  How about ALL those BLOCKBUSTER TRADES that took place in Baseball! The Dodgers picking up "Mad Maxx Scherzer" and Tre Turner from the Nats! The Yank'me's picking up Rizzo from the Cubs and Gallo from the Reds!! Great for them... they STILL don't have any pitching, losing to the Rays 14-0 today, but oh well.  LOL.  Don't count out the Rays winning the AL... and if the Dodgers don't win the NL, it'll be the BIGGEST CHOKE JOB this side of the lead singer from INXS - if you don't understand that reference, look it the F up...

The Lake-show picking up Russell Westbrook? But they got rid of Kyle Kuzma, Montrezl Harrell, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and the No. 22 pick in Thursday night's NBA draft... personally I think they're gonna IMPLODE... LeBum AND Westbrook on the same team is like the issue the Nets had with KD, Harden and Kyrie.... JMO... One Basketball and TOO MANY EGOS.  Just sayin'....

The Raiders' have two on the COVID list already in Running Backs Jalen Richard and Theo Riddick... but their chances in making the squad were on thin ice in my mind (Riddick may YET make the club... I think Richard is G O N E).  And of course the NFL Network and BSPN don't have ANY RAIDERS' TRAINING CAMP HIGHLIGHTS... apparently the Fake Pirates and the Cowpaddies are the ONLY teams in the NFL.... SMMFH...

Yes... it ISSSSSSS sorta the 'blaaaaaaahs' of Summer... THANK GOODNESS at least we have THE OLYMPICS to add to our 'sports talk' as it'd be kinda thin considering we've already crowned the Bucks and Lightning.... baseball is lumbering along.... and of course we ALL are waiting on TRAINING CAMPS TO START for the NFL.  

We DID talk about the Olympics of course... it was A SHOCK of sorts that Katie Ladecki LOST... well.... she got the Silver... in her event.  What was MORE OF A SHOCK was the PUTRID showing of USA Basketball against the French.  RUFKM?!?!?  But at least the US Swim Team CHARGED UP WINNING in many of the events, to include the 4 X 100 Relays.  USA... USA... USA!!

As you can see, I was wearing my Phillies football-type jersey because I'm stoked they split with the Braves... and retained 2nd place in the NL East.  Can anyone catch the Mets? It remains to be seen... and the Rays took 3 out of 4 from the Indians (soon to be Guardians).  The SOX came back and beat the Yank-me's.... but honestly NY is starting to suck like they did in the 1970's.  For those that DON'T KNOW... yes the Yanks SUUUUUUUUCKED in the early 70's.  Their main news items were two pitchers SWAPPING WIVES!!! I'm TOTALLY SERIOUS... I think Mike Kekich was one of the pitchers... can't remember the other one.  LOL.  

I enjoyed having Jakeob the Browns' fan on the show.  This young man KNOWS HIS TEAM and the NFL.  I love folks who can INTELLIGENTLY TALK SPORTS.  

And yes... we even had a bit of "NFL COVID TALK"... Mandatory? Or SHOULD IT BE?  You missed it... but you can ALWAYS chime in NEXT TIME... when you "ASK CAPTAIN JACK"

So We're now just waiting for Baseball to crown their champions of the POST-COVID Season of 2021... and then it's FINALLY FOOTBALL SEASON! Did you hear about the NFL stating today that forfeiture and Huuuuuuuuuuge fines for teams who can't play because of COVID this year? Yepppp... the League is NOT Playin' this year with the disease (Pun firmly intended and not just in cheek...) How so YOU feel about the NFL 'Laying Down the COVID Law' this year about possible forfeiture.  It's TIME... and I think they SHOULD be a lot tighter on rules.  But what do YOU say? 

The BUCKS have won their FIRST 'Chip in 50Years! The Fake Pirates went to the Sleepy White House the other day... LOL... see what I did there? If you don't get it, ask! It was great to be back doing shows, especially with my mates from this past weekend's Raider Nation Explosion II in Madera.  Yes... HOT AS BALLS... what's not to love about spending time with Raider Homer and FINALLY meeting Heidi AKA Kevlar Prom Dress IN PERSON for the FIRST TIME... 

Heidi gives the BEST HUGS Raider Nation... and yes, she even outshined taking pictures with Ms. Alien Tits (gotta listen to the show for THAT explanation).  

Lots of Talk about the Explosion... and Diets... (some talks of Food Poisoning without the TMI aspect) and THEN we spoke about HOT TOPICS like the Resignation of Raider's President Marc Badain (Louis Riddick anyone?) and the recent departure of Running Backs Coach Kirby Wilson.  

I was WRONG in picking the Suns to win the Championship, as when we went off the air the Bucks were on their way to win their first 'Chip in 50 years! Congrats to the Greek Freak and Middleton.

Anything happening in Sports? Hmmmmmmmmmmm.... Well, the Bucks FINALLY won a game in the NBA Finals, beating the Suns Sunday Evening (I called it... still think the Suns will ultimately win in FIVE.... we'll see about that prediction).  Novak Djokovic won his 20th Men's Grand Slam Title, taking Wimbledon for the third time in a row - Joining Borg, Sampras, Nadal, Becker and McEnroe.  His 20 Slams tie him with Federer and Nadal... 

Italy  beat the host United Kingdom in the Euro Soccer Final 3-2 on Penalty Kicks (the game was tied 1-1 after the end of regulation) while Argentina beat Brazil in the other Major Soccer Match of the season.  

And yes... my Phillies took two of three from the Red Sox.  Can they get into the Playoffs this year? I'm saying NO... but I hope I'm wrong.

Yes... LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG day at work mixed with a trip to the mall to acquire my STANLEY CUP CHAMPION LIGHTNING SWAG.... then I popped over to get a niiiiiiiiice Mexican meal from Tijuana Flats (Burrito Night Baby!!) and a tad bit late coming in... but HEY... I'm HERE!! Let's talk Sports!!

We had a FULL HOUSE TONIGHT between O.G. Daniel, Graphk Raider, Raider Mode, Kertz, McNugget, and WTFan coming on via video link.... and Pittsburgh Jared and the Pittsburgh Report, Raider Houston Steve, and Patriot Doc Cabral coming in via the Phone Lines.  I LOOOOOOOOOOVE IT when we have a HUUUUUUUUUUGE participatory show!!

For those keeping score, the Suns are up 2-0 in the NBA Finals... another Western Conference Win in the NBA? I think the Bucks will play strong at home and win at least once... but I still say the Suns in FIVE!

First off... the title was a swipe at Fake Pirate Defensive End Jason Pierre Paul who lost some digits in a July 4th accident while with the Giants a few years back... but let's say a prayer for NHL Goalie Matiss Kivlenieks of the Columbus Blue Jackets who tragically lost his life yesterday during a fireworks accident.  He was 24years old.  SAD.  

If you're looking for Sunday's Ask Captain Jack Show... it's not available.  Honestly, I was NOT feeling 'mentally positive' and the show was NOT entertaining nor up to my standards... so it's not available on my YouTube, Facebook, or Twitter.... and I can't find it on Twitch, so good luck if YOU can! No matter...

Lots of SPORTS to talk about.  Joey Chestnut WINS AGAIN in Hot Dog Eating... what was it 76 dogs? Wow... The Canadiens with Anderson's two goals stave off a sweep from the Lightning, but I fully expect Tampa to win it in Five on their Home Ice on Wednesday Night.  

Speaking of Finals... how about Phoenix taking on Milwaukee... and Chris Paul's FIRST NBA Finals appearance? THAT is hard to believe, and I believe Paul, Devin Booker, Deandre Ayton and Jae Crowder will ultimately hoist the trophy... especially since MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo is currently doubtful for Game 1 and his injury will likely preclude a Bucks Championship since... has it been since Lew Alcindor AKA Kareem Abdul-Jabbar? Yep... 1971.  

We got our MLB All Star Lineups upcoming... and of course we'll talk FOOTBALL... RAIDER FOOTBALL and whomever else y'all deem worthy of discussion.

Baseball is slowwwwwwwwwly dragging on to the All Star Break while Hockey and Basketball near the end of their seasons, a few games short of the FINALS in both sports.  Meanwhile we ALWAYS talk about Football, and I'm even restless waiting to go to various RAIDER NATION events upcoming, including my tour of Allegiant Stadium in Vegas this weekend... Raider Nation Explosion in July... and a trip to the NFL Hall of Fame in August.  Why am I so restless? Hmmmmmm....

So there you have it... you're caught up with ME.... what's up with YOU?  Presently I'm watching the Habs host the Knights in Game 6 of the Western Finals... will the Habs get to the Stanley Cup Finals in nearly 30years? Wowwwww.... I thought Flyers fans had it rough... Meanwhile the Isles tied the Lightning in a TOUCH AS NAILS Game 6 last night, as we're going SEVEN in the East with a game Friday Night in Tampa.  

In Basketball it's Not-Quite-Showtime in LA as the Clips host the Suns as Phoenix leads 2-0 out West... while in the East the Hawks of Atlanta lead 1-0 over the Bucks... again, wake me up for the finals... ((yaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwnnnnnnn...))
