August 23 -- The book of Exodus is filled with familiar stories — from the parting of the Red Sea to the wilderness wanderings, from the 10 Plagues to the 10 Commandments, from the controversy about the Golden Calf to the construction of the holy Tabernacle. Biblical authors often reflect on these stories in their writings, and the Apostle Paul is no exception. This study explores which Exodus traditions Paul draws upon and how he interprets them in light of the life and teachings of Christ.
