Interview with Dev Randhawa, CEO of Fission Uranium (TSX:FCU)
Fission Uranium has a great project in the Athabasca Basin, Triple R is a high-grade shallow deposit.
With the aid of hindsight, he breaks down his thoughts on the Section 232 Petition and discounts the Nuclear Fuel Working Group as irrelevant with the current COVID19 focus of governments, funds and the markets. We also ask him what the implications could be to Cameco's announcement to stand down their workforce at Cigar Lake.
We are keen to discuss how he intends to finance his project in the post COVID19 world. He is coy about conversations he may or may not be having. He talks openly about some of the cuts he has made including the decisions that have been made and that need to be made to Board and the Directors salaries and fees. Let's see what happens there. Plus we ask him what role their largest shareholder will have in any future funding event and what they timing of that may be.
