A couple housekeeping items. First, we have a live show coming up on April 2nd, so stay tuned for details. Second, we cannot thank our club members enough. We are truly grateful for your membership support, and would love for others to follow! We’re excited to announce that we just signed a two-year contract with Brio TV. As we grow, your support will upgrade our studio with new cameras, TVs, and production equipment, and eventually bring Knox on full-time for content and production development. So we have reached a moment where we want to specifically solicit your help. The quickest way to help this to happen is to join our membership club. Please click here for more info. Also, please reach out to us if you have any specific ways you can help us out. Thanks for considering, and enjoy the show!

First, we interviewed Jonathan Bock, President of Grace Hill Media and co-author of The Way Back (number one on Amazon in March). In The Way Back, media and marketing experts Phil Cooke and Jonathan Bock take a hard look at Christians today and reveal that we, as a salesforce, have lost our faith in our product. Where’s the passion, the excitement, and the commitment that two thousand years ago made such improbable and staggering growth possible?

We were also joined by Pastor Doug Wilson to discuss why the church should be enraging the culture! You should join Pastor Wilson this April 13th and 14th at the Grace Agenda conference in Moscow, Idaho. It is free, so you have no excuses.

In CrossPolitic news, we cover a college student who was kicked out of class for arguing that there are only two genders, and a Rocklin High School teacher who is on paid administrative leave for her views about the national school walk out. Our theme is why logic doesn’t work with public education.

A couple housekeeping items. First, we have a special live show coming up on April 2nd, so stay tuned for details. Secondly, we cannot thank our club members enough. We are truly grateful for your membership support, and would love for others to follow! We are in the process of negotiating some potential TV contracts. Because we are relatively unknown in the TV space, these are non-exclusive agreements. This means they really want our content, but won’t pay us for our content yet. One of the networks is in 48 million households! If the crick don’t rise and we sign these TV contracts, we will be in uncharted waters. We have bootstrapped this from the beginning, and have enjoyed every sacrifice to get us to this point. So we have reached a moment where we want to specifically solicit your help. The quickest way to help this to happen is to join our membership club. Please click here for more info. We need to upgrade our studio with new cameras, TVs, and production equipment, and would love to bring Knox on full-time for content and production development. Finally, please reach out to us if you have ideas for other ways you can help out. Thanks for considering, and enjoy the show!

This week’s show was packed full of guests. Our first guest is comedian Ben Price. His multiple personalities include President Trump, former President Barak Obama, Homer Simpson, and many more. He was a Grand Finalist on Australia’s Got Talent in 2011 and he’s been on The Today Show several times, Good Morning Washington, Good Morning Texas, Kid’s WB and CT Style and many more.

We’re also joined by Dr. Gordon Wilson, Fellow of Natural History at New Saint Andrews College. We discuss his new documentary The Riot and the Dance, coming to theaters March 19th.  Showstopping footage and powerful narration will open your eyes to the extraordinary glory found all over the animal kingdom. From leopards and langurs to vipers and elephants and beyond, The Riot and the Dance is a cinematic exploration that you won’t want to miss. So dont miss this Fathom event on March 19th. Go to the website to find a theater near you!

In CrossPolitic news, we discuss President Trump and Kim Jong Un, and California’s push for states’ rights.

Folks, there are two conferences coming up that we want you to be aware of:

First, we are so excited about this year’s Grace Agenda conference, coming April 13th and 14th and titled “Enraging The Culture”. Like grace, the conference is free–you just have to get up here. We will be there and Toby will be speaking at the conference.

The second is a worldview conference for high schoolers aged 14 to 19, in Moscow, Idaho. Called Conference is packed with speakers including Pastor Joe Rigney, Pastor Doug Wilson, syndicated radio host Steve Deace, Author/blogger Matt Walsh, and more. Early registration ends April 1st, so sign your kid up now!

This week we’re joined by Rev Dr. Joe Boot of the Ezra Institute and Westminster Chapel in Toronto.  The church in North America has had little impact on culture because she has equated loving with being nice. We are called to be light in a dark world, and that collision should and will enrage the culture. Dr. Boot will be speaking at the upcoming Grace Agenda conference.

In CrossPolitic news, we continue to discuss the Florida school tragedy and why Sheriff Scott Israel is a covenantal coward.

He graduated from Bob Jones University with a BA degree (Pastoral Studies) in 1993 and a MA (Theology/Church History) in 1994; he received the PhD from Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia (Historical and Theological Studies: American Reformed Tradition) in 2002.

A couple housekeeping items. First, many of y’all have heard about the tragic high school shooting in Parkland, Florida. These tragedies are becoming more and more politicized, and so Pastor Toby wrote an article about dueling religions and why prayer is so important in these situations. Check it out on our CrossPolitic blog here.

This week we’re joined by Paul Taylor, Director of the Mount St. Helens Creation Center since October 2014, and also an author. Paul has been speaking on creation and apologetics for over 35 years. He taught science in public (government) schools in the UK for nearly 20 years. He has worked with ministries such as Answers in Genesis and Creation Today, and has spoken in Britain, Ireland, Europe, and across the United States, in churches and at conferences. He has authored nine books including The Six Days of Genesis, Itching Ears, and Don’t Miss the Boat.

Paul recently wrote Only Believe, a simple and helpful book on defending your faith. Paul says of his book, “Apologetics is that branch of practical theology concerned with the defense of the Christian faith. Yet, I discovered that, for years, I had being doing apologetics wrong. It turned out that what I was defending was not really the Christian faith, but simply a form of theism. In this book, I introduce the concept of Presuppositional Apologetics, and examine it from Scripture. I have kept technical terms to a minimum, so that this should be just about the easiest to read book that you have ever found on the biblical way to defend your faith.”

In CrossPolitic news, we discuss Maryland Community Church’s preference over principal regarding worship, and St. Matthew Trinity Lutheran Church’s “Renaming Ceremony” for their pastor, who has transitioned from female to male.
