In the past month, we have explored various aspects of gratitude, from understanding its essence to expressing it inwardly and outwardly. We have learned how gratitude can change our perspective and reframe outcomes. As we conclude our focus on gratitude, let's step into the topic of finding gratitude when faced with hardships and adversity.

While it may seem challenging to be grateful during difficult times, it is possible to find moments of gratitude even amidst grief, turmoil, and struggles. In this week's podcast, we will discuss how to shift our perspective towards gratitude and find solace in the midst of challenging circumstances.

Transformative Power of Gratitude:

Practicing gratitude during difficult times can be transformative. It allows us to acknowledge the lessons and strength gained from adversity. Gratitude provides insight and a different perspective, helping us cope with loss and find meaning in challenging circumstances. It is not about feeling guilty or obligated, but rather about appreciating what we have and recognizing how it can work for us rather than against us. By embracing gratitude, we can set boundaries, make decisions, and open ourselves up to healing and growth.

Gratitude is a journey and a process that requires practice. As we navigate difficult times, the principles of gratitude we have discussed in previous weeks will help us through it.. Building a practice of gratitude equips us to face various situations with strength and a bit more ease.

Colossians 4:2 - Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart.

Psalm 69:30 - Then I will praise God’s name with singing, and I will honor him with thanksgiving.

This week we wrap up our focus on health with bringing it back to our mindset. We will get the chance to look at a few scriptures to help us shift our focus and reframe our thoughts about ourselves. Here are the verses I share in the episode and I encourage you to write them down and allow yourself to reflect and maybe even memorize them.
