En: "We'll find a way," replied Mateja with determination in her eyes.

En: She suggested that the group come together to make a plan.

En: When the snow finally stopped and the morning rays broke through the clouds, the group, exhausted but satisfied, prepared to head back to the city.

En: When Matevž entered the small café in Ljubljana, it smelled of freshly brewed coffee.

En: It was a cold winter day, and people wrapped in skillfully intertwined coats and scarves sat by small tables, ready for the new day.

Sl: Matevž je le iskal miren kotiček, kjer bi vzel svojo kavo in preletel nekaj strani novega rokopisa.
En: Matevž was just looking for a quiet corner to take his coffee and skim through a few pages of the new manuscript.

En: His day couldn't start without a perfect cup of coffee.

En: There was a long line at the counter.

En: Matevž observed the barista who was preparing multiple orders at once.

Sl: Ko končno pride na vrsto, jasno naroči: "En espresso, prosim.
En: When his turn finally came, he clearly ordered, "One espresso, please."

Sl: " Da bi prekratil čas, medtem ko čaka, pogleda naokrog.
En: To pass the time while waiting, he looked around.

En: Nearby stood Tadeja, who was lively chatting with someone on the phone and laughing cheerfully.

Sl: Njen glas je bil skoraj melodičen.
En: Her voice was almost melodic.

En: On the other side of the café was Gorazd, with his head nearly buried in his laptop, fingers wildly typing on the keyboard.

En: He seemed completely focused on work.

Sl: Ko Matevževo ime pokličejo, je hitro stopil do pulta, toda isto naredijo tudi Tadeja in Gorazd.
En: When Matevž's name was called, he quickly stepped to the counter, but so did Tadeja and Gorazd.

Sl: Vsi trije se srečajo ob vzajemnem pogledu nejevere.
En: All three met with mutual looks of disbelief.

Sl: "Mislil sem, da je to moja kava," reče Matevž.
En: "I thought this was my coffee," Matevž said.

    Sl: "Tudi jaz!
    En: "Me too!

Sl: Točno tako sem naročil," vzklikne Tadeja, še vedno v dobri volji.
En: That's exactly what I ordered," exclaimed Tadeja, still in good spirits.

En: Gorazd looked up from his screen, confused: "Sorry, I think this is my order."

En: For a moment, he thought about protesting, but decided to take a different approach.

En: "Why don't we figure out together whose coffee is whose?

Sl: Mogoče smo slučajno vsi naročili isto.
En: Maybe we all happened to order the same thing."

Sl: "Tadeja se strinja: "Dobra ideja!
    En: Tadeja agreed: "Good idea!

    Sl: Pogovorimo se.
    En: Let's talk it over."

Sl: " Gorazd sicer zadržano, a s prijaznostjo prikima.
En: Gorazd, though a bit reserved, nodded kindly.

Sl: Vsedli so se za mizo in kmalu ugotovili, kje je nastal zaplet.
En: They sat at a table and soon figured out where the mix-up had occurred.

Sl: V trenutku, ko so delili zgodbe in smeh, je Matevž pozabil na začetno frustracijo.
En: As they shared stories and laughter, Matevž forgot about his initial frustration.

En: Tadeja talked about the interesting aspects of Ljubljana, while Gorazd occasionally added a programming anecdote.

En: Soon after, the barista, who had noticed the situation, joined them and apologized for the mix-up.

Sl: Prinese še eno kavo, nasmehne se: "Mini kavarna, velika zmeda, a dobra družba.
En: He brought another coffee and smiled: "Small café, big confusion, but good company."

Sl: " Ostali trije se zasmejijo.
    En: The other three laughed.

Sl: Matevž končno dobi svoj espresso, čeprav nekoliko kasneje, a vse napetosti so minile.
En: Matevž finally got his espresso, although a bit later, but all tensions had dissipated.

En: In the end, Matevž realized that he got more than just coffee at the café.

En: He found interesting acquaintances and promised himself that next time he would embrace such unplanned events with open arms.

Sl: Spontanost je vnašala pridih v sicer predvidljivo rutino.
En: Spontaneity added a touch of delight to an otherwise predictable routine.

En: Tadeja and Gorazd also promised to meet again to continue the conversation that brought so much laughter and warmth.

En: With quiet satisfaction in his heart, Matevž said goodbye, knowing that the morning was something special.

En: Anja listened for a while, but then her gaze was drawn to a narrow passage the guide had only briefly mentioned.

    En: "Alright," he sighed.

    En: "But quickly."

En: In a dark corner, they came upon an iron door adorned with carved symbols that exuded mystery.

Sl: "Dajmo nazaj, preden bo prepozno.
En: "Let's go back before it's too late."

En: Anja finally relented, and both quickly ran back towards the corridor, almost trapped in fear.

Sl: Zadnji trenutek sta se uspela ponovno vključiti v skupino.
En: At the last moment, they managed to rejoin the group.

Sl: Nihče si ničesar ni opazil.
    En: No one noticed anything.

Sl: Ko so zapustili grad in se spustili po hribu, je Anja globoko vzdihnila.
En: As they left the castle and descended the hill, Anja sighed deeply.

En: "It's a shame we couldn't look behind the door," she said quietly.

En: "Sometimes you shouldn't break the rules too quickly," said Miha with a small smile.

Sl: "Ampak morda me naslednjič prepričaš hitreje.
En: "But maybe next time you'll convince me faster."

En: She knew that the moment with Miha and the mysterious door would remain in her heart.

Sl: Na koncu je odkrila nekaj veliko vrednejšega – prijateljstvo in modrost.

En: "Now we can go for that coffee," he leaned towards her.

En: As they left the lively market, Mateja glanced back happily once more.

En: After long contemplation, they decided to guard the secret.

En: Zala learned to be cautious, even though her adventurous spirit remained undiminished.

En: There was a fresh smell of cold wind in the air and stories carried by the wind and legends.

Sl: "Miha, poglej," je rekla Nika, njegova najboljša prijateljica, in pokazala na stari zemljevid gradu.
En: "Miha, look," said Nika, his best friend, pointing to an old map of the castle.

En: "Here we can find everything we need for the report."

Sl: " Miha je prikimal, a misli so mu bežale k legendi o skritem zakladu.
En: Miha nodded, but his thoughts wandered to the legend of the hidden treasure.

Sl: Kar naenkrat je Tomaž, razposajeni prijatelj, pristopil.

Sl: " Njegove oči so svetile vznemirjenost.
En: His eyes sparkled with excitement.

En: Nika, sensing their plan, sighed.

En: While the teachers were busy explaining historical facts, the three friends sneaked into the northern part of the castle, which was closed to the public.

En: whispered Tomaž, as he pressed the doors with his shoulder.

Sl: Po tehtanju so se končno odprla in trije so stopili v temno sobo.
En: After some effort, they finally opened, and the three stepped into a dark room.

Sl: Svetili so si s telefonskimi lučmi.
En: They lit their way with phone lights.

Sl: V sobi je bilo starodavno pohištvo, vendar brez zaklada.
En: In the room was ancient furniture, but no treasure.

En: "Maybe there's another room," said Miha, eager to continue.

Sl: A nekaj je šlo narobe.
    En: But something went wrong.

En: The three found themselves in a trap.

En: Fear crept in, but Miha felt something else—responsibility.

Sl: "Saj smo ekipa," je rekel.
En: "We're a team," he said.

Sl: "S skupnim delom lahko najdemo izhod.
En: "Together, we can find a way out."

Sl: "Po nekaj neuspelih poskusih je Nika našla starodavno knjigo s kodami.
En: After a few failed attempts, Nika found an ancient book with codes.

En: Through collaboration, they managed to uncover a complex sequence that unlocked the door mechanism.

Sl: Soba je vzdihnila in se odprla.
En: The room sighed and opened.

Sl: Kmalu so trije z bezljajočimi koraki stekli nazaj k skupini.
En: Soon, the three ran back to the group with rapid steps.

Sl: Profesor ni ničesar opazil, česar so bili hvaležni.
En: The teacher noticed nothing, for which they were grateful.

En: That very day, they sat on the bus from Ljubljanski grad, richer for the experience.

En: Miha realized that the real adventure lies in discovering stories and understanding history, not always in searching for treasures.

En: He placed his hand on Nika's shoulder.

    Sl: Nasmehnila se je.
    En: She smiled.

    Sl: "Pridi, napišimo najboljše poročilo.
En: "Come on, let's write the best report."
