Grief has no timetable, it is not one size fits all, and time is your best friend. Imagine the loss you have endured and where you stand now. Have you truly healed from that situation or are you just surviving. We don't always get to heal from past hurts and trauma. Extend grace to those who are healing from things they can no longer talk about. Remember a loss is a loss, the context does not matter. We can lose a loved one, relationship, autonomy, opportunity, identity, and the impact can be great.
