One of the most underrated drag queens from RuPaul’s Drag Race is Vivacious, mother of Ornacia, whose fan slapping, club couture and sassy sayings have become part of the language of drag. She’s a national treasure, so it’s great when a big name like Miley Cyrus showcased her at the MTV Video Music Awards a few years back.

And now, Vivacious recently tore it up with Katy Perry on Saturday Night Live where she synchronized her fan slaps to the pop diva’s “Swish Swish Bish.” The dance number was filled with fierce club kids but fifteen-year-old Russell Horning, known as the “Backpack Kid” stole the show with his goofy arm swinging.

Today Vivacious joins us from her sewing room in New York City to kiki about her appearance with Katy Perry on SNL.
