This week we're joined by filmmaker Tim Buel, whose new found footage horror feature MALLBOUND premiered at UFF24HR26. Tim describes how a behind-the-scenes VHS of Star Wars first showed him that making movies was a real job, talks about his early shorts with his younger brother and shares what he learned from In Residence, the $5,000 Kickstarter feature he co-made in 2015. He also talks about Unaired, his 2009 ghost-hunter found footage film, the vlog-style horror shorts that lead to MALLBOUND, and his work on Man Finds Tape.
