Someone didn’t say excuse me at the store?
Someone treated you without respect in a relationship?
Your dad never showed you emotional love and care?
Stop internalizing other people’s actions towards you. Let’s go through each of these.
The balance between not internalizing people’s feelings vs showing them that you are not to be played with so there are no feelings to internalize in the first place.

How do we begin to lead in our daily lives, to prepare us to lead other people?
Leaders become the example.
Leadership is having an Ego, but also being one who serves.
Some people are WRONG. Selective validation.
Consistency
In this week's episode, I traverse the differences between Emory University and Georgia State!
I gotta be celibate. I am trying again. Here are some affirmations to guide us through. Love ya!
I may be wrong...but I sense there's something there. What messages did we as Black women hear or not hear growing up? Were we taught to cherish and respect all parts of us, like our womb? Or were we called fast and put in harm's way? In this episode I explore the intersection of race, gender, and celebrity pregnancy. Then I give some life advice at the end. Just because a person is good, doesn't men they're for you.
As we enter into the coming family season, I want you to reflect on the lessons your first family teaches you. Are you learning to keep your heart and emotions close only to you, or are you learning to speak up when you're feeling uncomfortable? Are you caged, or vulnerable? What/who taught you?
I then need you to ask you what traits you want to embody. Do you want to be free in your self expression? Do you want to feel more grounded in your body and take your home with you, within you?
Lastly. What are some small actions that that person takes? Do they immediately crumble at the first signs of another's discomfort? Or do they take a breath and check themselves - then ask for clarity if needed?
You are on the path to becoming the best oak, fig, pine, or other tree you are meant to be. I love you.
Byeeeeeee hear you in the next one byyyyeeee
