The teaching focuses on Exodus 15:22-26, with specificity to the Hebrew word “nisy“ which means “plucked out, pull out, and to break up from an encampment.” The Israelites were camped at the bitter waters of Marah and many people died there as a result of their own bitterness. Before they moved on from there, Hashem gave them statutes and rules. The great sage Rambam said that these rules were given in order that the Jewish people learn to pray for their needs without grumbling and to get along with each other during their journey through the wilderness. Hashem’s people need to be One as a nation in order to bring His light to the rest of the world. We hope and pray that you find blessing in our teachings. We ask that you please join us each week as we dig deep into scripture to learn more about the God of Israel, and reveal the Messiah throughout the Old Testament.Ro'eh Richard CortesThe Foundation of The Word Outreach Ministrieswww.thefoundationoftheword.org
