Torah Portion "'מקץ/Miketz" which means "At the end" delivered on December 4, 2021.This week's portion covers Genesis/Beresheet 41:1-44:17 and begins, “And it came to be, at the end of two years’ time, that Pharaoh had a dream, and saw him standing by the river,"In our Torah portion today, we read that Pharaoh dreams a divine dream, a message that is meant for the world, but there is no power in Egypt that can interpret it for Pharaoh. Pastor Richard teaches that Joseph, through the interpretation of the dream given to him by Hashem, is then lifted out of the darkness of his slavery and elevated to a kingship role of authority in Egypt. Pastor Richard, Ro’ah Alpha, and Brother Mark all agree in their teachings to us today how we are to apply this message to our own lives, as those who are called children of God are to be kings and queens. This week our Haftorah teaching is delivered by Ro'ah Alpha Cortes from 1 Kings 3:15-4:1, and the New Covenant teaching is delivered by Brother Mark Honberger from Acts 11:19-30.We hope and pray that you find blessing in our teachings. We ask that you please join us each week as we dig deep into scripture to learn more about the God of Israel, and reveal the Messiah throughout the Old Testament.Pastor Richard CortesThe Foundation of The Word Outreach Ministrieswww.thefoundationoftheword.org
