Friend and executive director of Christmas Box International, Celeste Edmunds, was on with Frankie and Jess talking about her book Garbage Bag Girl. Her life story, raised by drug addict parents and, at a young age, learned to survive and protect her siblings among rapists and drug dealers. Eventually the state separated the family and Celeste was adopted, alone, into a dysfunctional, fractured home where she was treated, by a sadistic and manipulating mother, as an unwanted outsider. Contemplating taking her abuser's life, eventually running away. And unbelievable story. A book everyone should read or listen to.

Part 2 of our 2-part conversation. Jon talks about his experience as the Jazz Bear for 25 years and how new management came in and made changes just to make changes. He talks about getting written up as the Jazz Bear for something he had been doing for 25 years. The new boss didn't want The Bear getting all of the attention. Jon knew he had a target on his back when things almost got physical, ultimately getting him fired. Frankie and Jess couldn't believe it when Jon told them there's now more than one bear. Wait until you hear this. It took several bears to replace Jon. Because he's irreplaceable. Jon also shared his thoughts about having father's guilt with his 3 daughters. Such a sweet guy with a huge heart. An incredible conversation.

Jon shared some sweet stories about late Jazz owner, Larry H. Miller. And how the organization changed after he passed away. Jon also shared his story about being fired. A very relatable situation. Such a great conversation. Thank you, Jon, for 2 plus decades of dedication to the Jazz and to the community of Utah.
