Combat sports is not for everyone. Getting punched, kicked, knee'd, elbowed, slammed, choked, and getting your body twisted in thousands of different ways is truly not a profession for an ordinary person. Not to mention it being a weight category sport where athletes are cutting large amounts of weight, depleting their bodies of nutrients and water, all in order to make a certain number on the scale. Usually this takes place a day before fighting for their lives against another trained opponent in front of a huge live audience. Talk about modern day gladiators!
