Jackie O’s Brewery was founded in 2005 by Brad Clark and Art Oestrike, both alumni of Ohio University, which is also located in Athens. The name "Jackie O's" was chosen to pay homage to the Irish-inspired brewpub that occupied the building before its purchase, as well as in honor of Oestrike's mother Jackie, who passed away shortly after they purchased the premises. Oestrike is the owner of Jackie O's, while Clark's role is head brewer. Their first location only had two fermentors, limiting their output to approximately 300 barrels annually. In 2009, Jackie O's acquired the bar immediately adjacent to theirs, calling it Jackie O’s Public House. They used the larger kitchen of the Public House to expand their menu offerings, and they also had the space to increase their brewing capacity. Annual beer production rose from 300 barrels to 800 barrels. In 2013, Jackie O's expanded their business to another location in the city of Athens.The new location was primarily a production facility, increasing their output from 800 barrels to 3,200 barrels annually. From 2013 to 2017, their annual growth rate exceeded 20%.

Java the Stout is a caramel centered stout accentuated by Athens’ Own Dawn Chorus French Roast. They start from a stout with minimal roasted barley and an abundant amount of caramel malts. After fermentation the beer is cold conditioned on four pounds of coarse ground coffee beans for one week to add color and lots of roasted flavor. Java the Stout contains approximately a half a cup of coffee caffeine per pint. It has great body with robust aroma and pungent coffee flavor.

Trappist communities observe the counsel of the Rule of St. Benedict, a 6th century guide for monastic life, that stresses the importance of ora et labora or "pray and work." Monks are encouraged to be self-supportive and offer charitable assistance to others by producing and selling goods to the public.

Their brewery project is one of necessity. For over 60 years, they have cooked and packed jams and jellies at their monastery under the Trappist Preserves label. This business has allowed them to support themselves, while providing wholesome monastic work and charitable assistance to the poorer communities and persons in need.

Trappist Holiday Ale is a Belgian strong dark ale with nice roasted malts and spicy citrus flavours, but not so much dark berries as you would expect from a Belgian beer of this type.

Fun Fact: The font used in their Spencer logo is derived from the calligraphy inscribed upon the limestone end panels of the high altar of the abbey church, which was created by Br. David Holly, a monk and artist of Spencer at the time of its foundation in 1950.

Offshoot beer company is, if you will, an offshoot of The Bruery. Their wheelhouse? Hoppy beers. Think "IPA" and "Double IPA". And other stuff that has the acronym "IPA'' in the name. Pretty much any hoppy eruption that excites and tantalizes the taste buds is fair game. Their 16-0z. cans are released in limited supply and sold in 4-packs directly from the brewery for fresh enjoyment. The Bruery promised to never make an IPA, certainly not because they don't like them, but because they wanted to focus on achieving a flavor profile rather than making a beer to fit in a certain style. They've kept their promises, and will likely continue to do so ... for the most part. That's when they created Offshoot Beer Company. Retreat (This is a Hazy Double IPA) is laced with delicate and aromatic tropical notes, along with a bright berry medley and a crisp mouthfeel. It’s like diving into the Pacific on a 90 degree day.

A Brief History of Off Color Brewing (ahem) - At some point John and Dave were born. They did other stuff for a while and then they figured out they were better at making beer than at the other stuff. So that's what they do now. They met while both studied at the oldest and most respected brewing school (of the two...and by the brewers that went to the one) in the US, the Siebel Institute, in 2008 and the brewery was envisioned while they both interned at Metropolitan Brewing afterwards. After cutting their teeth at larger breweries, the two somehow convinced enough otherwise-very-smart-people to invest enough money for them to buy some big shiny things to make their own beer in. So that's what they do now. The end. (bows)

Available for purchase to ticket holders at the event, they will have tattoos from Candor Tattoo as well as apparel screen-printing by Meltdown Creative Works. Dosvidanya Day is a private event held in the production brewery area and the Barrel Room. Only ticket holders will be allowed into the event, but the Beer Hall will be open to the general public.

Dosvidanya & it’s many variants clock in at 12.5% ABV. These beers are among the best in the world for their style and can be cellared in a cool environment. They suggest enjoying one now and laying one down in the cellar as you see fit.

Anchor Brewing Company’s roots date back to the California Gold Rush, making it one of America’s oldest breweries. They’ve been going since 1896. In 1965, Fritz Maytag acquired and revived the struggling brewery at a time when mass production of beer had dominated and seemed unstoppable. Maytag started a revolution in beer that originated today’s craft beer movement. Anchor is America’s first craft brewery where beers are handmade in their traditional copper brewhouse from an all-malt mash. They practice the art of classical brewing while still employing modern day methods to ensure the freshness of their beer. Through every step of the brewing process, Anchor treats every batch as if it were the one that they were going to be remembered for.

Back in 1975, Anchor released the first holiday beer in America since Prohibition. Year after year, Anchor creates a new, secret recipe with a unique hand drawn label for their Christmas Ale, but the intent with each brew remains the same: joy for the changing seasons and celebration of the newness of life. With a heavily guarded, confidential recipe, Christmas Ale is sold only from early November to mid-January. The 45th Annual Anchor Christmas Ale is a Winter Warmer Ale is complex and full in flavor, packed with toasty cocoa notes, roasted and strong aromas of resinous pine. Slightly darker than last year’s Christmas Ale, the 2019 edition is layered with toasted caramel and coffee flavors with subtle hints of Mexican chocolate, rounded out with herbaceous spices.

From the start, Lucky Luke Brewing Company knew that they had to stay true to their original vision of making the brewery a tribute to their founder’s Great-Grandfather, Luke Hammons. The naming of their brewery was an organic pairing of their good fortune with Luke’s name. Luke Hammons was a lover of all things craft and American made. A family man and patriarch, he enjoyed working with his hands and could build just about anything. While he passed away in 2009, they know he would’ve been proud to see them building things from scratch, buying American wherever possible, and raising a glass with their loved ones. So here’s to Luke, and here’s to that sentimental someone in your life!

The Mortician is a Black IPA that’s roasty, chocolatey, and with an added piney hop feel.

Revision Brewing Company’s brewmaster and CEO hails from Knee Deep Brewing Company out of Auburn, CA - a company that he originally founded out of his garage in Sparks, Nevada. In July of 2015, Jeremy Warren (Founder and former Brewmaster of Knee Deep Brewing Company) decided to sell his shares of Knee Deep Brewing to his business partner and set out to start Revision Brewing Company where he could have total creative freedom. Warren is known for his world-class IPA’s, 2x IPAs and 3x IPAs and after only a year of opening the doors at Revision Brewing Company, the brewery took a gold medal win for Revision IPA in the American India Pale Ale Category, and DIPA won the silver medal in the Imperial India Pale Ale category at the 2018 World Beer Cup® awards. Only four other breweries in the history of the World Beer Cup® have medaled in both the American-Style India Pale Ale and the Imperial India Pale Ale category in the same year. Revision Brewing Company joins Russian River, Pizza Port, Noble Ale Works and Big Rock Chop House in this achievement. Hi Juno is a Hazy IPA
