In this episode of Catholic Recon: Testimonies from reverts and converts, I sit down with Francisco Sitja, a Brazilian-born revert. Francisco grew up in an atheist, communist household and spent years caught up in the party lifestyle, broken relationships, and conspiracy rabbit holes. His journey back to Christ is filled with raw struggles—dabbling in the occult, fasting experiments, anger, oppression, and total isolation during the pandemic.

Through it all, God pursued him. Francisco discovered the power of confession, the Rosary, adoration, and consecration to St. Joseph and Our Lady. Along the way, God gave him unmistakable “signal graces”—from Scripture to music—that broke through his intellectual walls and revealed His presence. This is a powerful testimony of how God takes even the smallest “yes” and pours out overwhelming grace.
