Abdul ‘Duke’ Fakir, the last surviving original member of the beloved Motown group the ‘Four Tops’, died of heart failure on Monday. According to a family spokesperson, he was at his home in Detroit, with his wife and other loved ones by his side. He was 88. Back in 2013, the late Mary Wilson, one of the founding members of the ‘Supremes’, hosted a “Holiday Spectacular” featuring ‘Duke’. They both joined Bob Sirott and Marianne Murciano in studio to promote their show. To honor ‘Duke’, Bob played back part of that interview today.
