Kendall feels out the field on the topic as his life and EDC (Every Day Carry) situation continues its evolution. We then share our stories of Turkey Day, a day which led Kory to insurance claims. Also, Black Friday looked different this year with a TON of online shopping, which one would think means you get to "skip the line." Dillon found out otherwise. Finally, we discuss Christmas decorations leaving just enough room for our four minute segment on The Mandelorian before we share what our streaming queues look like. #077. Thanksgiving is a time to gather around a table, not too closely, and enjoy a meal with members of your household while zooming with your loved ones and coughing into your elbow. Most Americans are familiar with the basics of what that meal traditionally includes, but we discuss the ways those side dishes tend to vary across the country. Dillon gets angry. It's a poll results sort of thing. We're still counting ballots. Speaking of Dillon and ballot counting, he shared some Twitter polling about Sci-Fi spaceships and we had a chance to talk about some geek stuff! Dillon gets happy. After all this, Kory and Kendall revisit the WWE to discuss The Undertaker, Mark Calaway, and his retirement from the sport. The "Dead Man" with thirty years of character-keeping has been breaking the fourth wall and showing us the Mark behind the leather, and we find him fascinating. Thank you for partaking with us. Kory has a remarkable story involving his neighborhood, a marine who lives a couple doors down, police, and weapons. He gives us all the details. We then go to a couple of voice messages. One of which talks about incremental impact and those things where a few ticks on the dial go a long way, namely in reference to beverage temperature, but we get into more examples. Another middler called in to let us know of a fur baby story he overheard from a man who referred to his children's pets as "Granddogs." #074. We wanted to be the first to say it to you this year. Merry Christmas! After a quick, not fact-checked, entirely made up review of election results, we quickly hit Halloween and Christmas in one segment. We also share our signature meals from fast food joints following the lead of Travis Scott. Kory received a new gadget as a gift from his wife and he's stoked. Also, Big Ten football is back! Us Midwesterners felt a little left out of the college football world and now everything seems right...except for the empty seats and piped in fan noise. Then we take a non-spoiler paddle into the premiere of season 2 of The Mandalorian before giving a very clear spoiler alert and diving into some details. #072. Justin and Rebekah Blanton sold their house and moved their family into an RV! They have an interesting story and are a wonderful couple who were willing to come onto the show to share their experience. All the little details from living in close quarters to black water maintenance are revealed within the hour. Fun fact: watching trash pandas after a glass of whiskey and a golf cart ride under the stars makes for a perfect date night!
