In this compelling episode, we confront the dangerous rise of extremist ideologies—ranging from antisemitism to jihadist radicalization and neo-Nazi movements. Together with three remarkable guests, we unpack the root causes of radicalization, strategies for prevention, and real-world solutions to foster unity and compassion in polarized times. My distinguished guests bring unique perspectives and powerful stories:* Dr. Miri Bar-Halpern, a clinical psychologist and advocate specializing in trauma and recovery, shares insights on healing and resilience.* Mubin Shaikh, a former jihadist extremist turned counter-terrorism operative, reflects on his journey and his pivotal role as a confidential source in the Toronto 18 case.* Arno Michaelis, a former neo-Nazi skinhead and lead singer of the hate-metal band Centurion, discusses his transformation and work to combat hate.Together, they collaborate with Parents4Peace to break down polarization, promote civil engagement, and spark meaningful dialogue, especially in academic settings where false narratives have fueled tensions since the October 7th attack on Israel. Their mission? “We center our work on those most affected by extremism—families and targeted communities—while equipping frontline professionals to intervene early and stop hate before it escalates. We address hate at its source, across every ideology.”*** Support Us on Patreon:https://www.patreon.com/cryforzionLearn more about their mission at parents4peace.org🎙️ Don’t miss this inspiring conversation.Subscribe for more real stories that matter.#Extremism #Antisemitism #Radicalization #CounterTerrorism #NeoNazi #Jihadism #Deradicalization #TraumaRecovery #Parents4Peace #Podcast #DoronKeidarPodcast #October7 #Israel #CombatingHate #Unity #Reconciliation

In this powerful episode, we sit down with Cameron Weinberg, a 24-year-old with a story unlike any other. Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona in a reform Jewish household, Cameron’s life took a dramatic turn in 2021 when he made Aliyah during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. After a year of playing football for the University of Arizona, he decided to enlist in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) — a decision that led him not only to convert to Judaism but also to serve in the legendary elite undercover counterterrorism unit Yamas.

Cameron shares his experience stationed at Kibbutz Nachal Oz, which came under attack on October 7th, and the emotional and physical toll of that day. Since his release from active duty in January 2024, he’s been balancing reserve duty in Gaza with attending university — living a life at the crossroads of education and service.

In this gripping and profoundly informative conversation, I sit down with Izabella Tabarovsky, a leading scholar of Soviet anti-Zionism and contemporary left antisemitism. Tabarovsky is a Senior Fellow at the Z3 Institute for Jewish Priorities and a Research Fellow at both the London Centre for the Study of Contemporary Antisemitism and ISGAP.

Drawing from her years of research on Soviet propaganda and its legacy, Tabarovsky unpacks how virulently antisemitic forms of "anti-Zionism" were central to Cold War-era Communist ideology—and how many of these same tropes and tactics have re-emerged in today’s far-left discourse. From the Soviet Union’s deployment of conspiracy theories linking Zionism to Nazism to the global campaign that culminated in the infamous 1975 UN Resolution declaring Zionism a form of racism, we trace how these narratives were manufactured, exported, and normalized.

Tabarovsky argues that, to quote William Faulkner, “the past is not dead, it is not even past.” Soviet-era antisemitic anti-Zionism, she shows, has left behind a “toxic ideological brew” that still shapes public conversations, academic discourse, and political movements in the West.

Topics discussed:

• The Soviet Union’s anti-Zionist propaganda machine and the role of the KGB
• How antisemitism was masked as political critique
• The use of prominent Soviet Jews in anti-Zionist campaigns
• The parallels between Cold War-era propaganda and modern leftist antisemitism
• The ideological roots of contemporary far-left anti-Zionist rhetoric

In this thought-provoking interview, Pastor Dumisani Washington, Founder and CEO of the Institute for Black Solidarity with Israel, discusses Tucker Carlson's controversial stance on Israel and Christianity. Washington critiques Carlson's misleading portrayal of Israel's treatment of Christians, comparing it to the dire persecution faced by Christians in other parts of the Middle East. He also delves into the discrepancies in Carlson's reporting, particularly his choice to interview a pastor from the Palestinian Authority, rather than a Christian living in Israel. Throughout the conversation, Washington challenges the narrative that Carlson is promoting, highlighting the truth about the thriving Christian population in Israel and the increasing persecution of Christians in Palestinian-controlled areas. With his extensive background in Israel advocacy, Washington provides a compelling argument on why standing with Israel is vital for Christians of all backgrounds.Dumisani Washington is the Founder and CEO of the Institute for Black Solidarity with Israel (IBSI). He is also the former Diversity Outreach Coordinator for the over 10-million-member Christians United for Israel (CUFI), having served at CUFI for nearly seven years. Dumisani is a pastor, professional musician—graduate of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music—and author whose latest book is the second edition of Zionism & the Black Church: Why Standing with Israel Will be a Defining Issue for Christians of Color in the 21st Century, © 2021 by Umndeni Press.*** Support Us on Patreon:https://www.patreon.com/cryforzionConnect and follow Dumisani Washington here:https://ibsi.org/https://x.com/DumisaniTemsgeninstagram.com/dumisani6Pastor Washington's Article on Tucker Carlson's false claims:https://www.tabletmag.com/sections/news/articles/arsonist-tucker-carlson#ChristianPersecution #MiddleEastChristians #IsraeliChristians #SyrianCrisis #ReligiousFreedom #tuckercarlson #dumisaniwashington #podcast #breakingnews #israel #specialforces #doronkeidar #thedoronkeidarpodcast #israel
