I have my amazing friend caitanya on the podcast. Growing up in the beach area in San Diego and being raised Hindu , she started drinking in a very young age and became a blackout artist. She would later dive into addiction to meth and codependency. After trying to outsmart her addiction she decided to become willing to give recovery a honest chance and went all out. I got my homie Carter on the podcast. He talks about his upbringing in Vista CA and enrolling into the army being stationed all over the world including the war in Iraq (2003-2004). Carter would later fall into deep meth addiction after leaving the army. After 20 years of using and the with the help of friends/family and the recovery community in North County San Diego, Carter has been clean for over 5 years! I got a special mobile podcast with my homie zipper calling from Colorado springs. Growing up All over the US he talked about his gateway into addiction being childhood trauma being abused at a very young age. He would be living a life full drugs, gangs and violence making it to southern California. With a severe addiction to meth and being in out of the prison system. Zipper had a clarity after a riot and decided to do something different and went to treatment and got involved with the recovery community in Orange county. I have my friend Leila Head to end this podcasts super week . She opens up about her struggles with drug addiction and mental health.
