Fueled by Nostalgia

WE WENT LIVE!!! Listen people, we decided to go walk around Adam's FAVORITE antique mall, "Call it New, Call it Antique" (conveniently located in Mesa, AZ... convenient for us, maybe not you, but definitely for us. Well, Matt and Adam. Taters lives kinda far)!!! We saw old things, we saw things that were old but were new to US! Matt admired a grilled cheese making toaster, Taters admired a "South Side Serpents" pleather jacket and Adam admired EVERYTHING! It's our first venture recording out in the wild, so be patient with us! Also, it won't be our last, GUARANTEED! So find something, old, find something new, grab that VHS copy of "Arachnophobia" you borrowed back in 1993 and throw on something blue because we are about to throw our nostalgia ALL OVER YOU!!! Because we are... FUELED BY NOSTALGIA!!!

You came BACK! We knew you liked us for us! This week sounds an awful lot like a comic-con panel as we dive face first into "Daredevil: Born Again" season 1 (currently streaming on Disney+) while comparing it to the classic Frank Miller/David Mazuchelli "Born Again" storyline from the Daredevil comics published waaaaay back in 1986 (spoilers, NOT THE SAME THING). Matt also shocks us with his take on the Nolan Bat-films, Taters and Adam do fun Tom Hardy/Bane impressions and so much more! This is it true believers, if you love Daredevil like we do and this one doesn't have it, you never truly needed it. Grab your red walking cane, your matching red tinted sunglasses, take hold of our arms firmly and have NO FEAR because WE are here to walk you safely through another episode of FUELED BY NOSTALGIA!!!

...and we LOVE Wonder Man! This week we are all OVER the place! We talk about the Olympics! Normally Adam is the only one who's delusional, thinking he can do things that would most likely kill him but this time Taters and Matt take the CAKE. Adam thinks he can be a curler but Matt and Taters decided to go with extreme sports choices that will most likely result in a bad case of death. Either way, RESPECT because no risk it? No BISCUIT and if nothing else? OUR FBN HEROES ARE SHOOTING FOR IMMORTALITY!!! Enjoy!

Good gravy we are a trio of nerds, I swear. This episode we dive into Star Wars and all the things we love about it, what our ideal demise in the Lucas-verse would be amongst other things. If you love Star Wars like we do, this is the episode for you! So grab your light saber, slice open your favorite Tauntaun (believe it or not that was spelled via autocorrect) and slide into that smelly, gooey mess while we lead you on an auditory adventure, keeping you warm and safe as we are FUELED BY NOSTALGIA!!!

HERE WE GOOOOOO!!! We are BACK in 2026 and while we aren't better than ever, we are slightly improved. This week we talk about all the things we believed when we were kids (my god we were stupid), losing a loved one, Matt got attacked by a Flowbee, Taters' favorite shingles commercial (yes, she has a favorite) and Adam has kicked that TikTok drug. All this and more as we are, once again... FUELED BY NOSTALGIA!!!

Well...not gonna lie, 2025 was super weird. Granted, we're not touching on any of that stuff, we're focusing more on US. That's right, we're all about US. And the 1984 classic Christmas kinda-horror flick "Gremlins". Seriously people, if you haven't watched this movie in a long time know that it's WAY DARKER THANK YOU REMEMBER. I know, I squirreled but Phoebe Cates really messed me up. Anyway, we're wrapping up our year! I've said once and I'll say it again: WE LOVE LOVE. This week we review the soon to be deemed timeless classic Christmas love story "Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story". Hallmark Movies sometimes hit just right and this is no exception. Also, Adam offers Taters a free knee surgery, Matt expresses his appreciation for Chad Henne and 2/3 of us really wish this movie had 100% more Tony Danza in it. Strap in, get your beef on weck, grab a cold Labatt Blue and make yourself good n' comfy because you too are about to be "FUELED BY NOSTALGIA"!!!

We love Christmas in a big bad way. So we're gonna be doing Christmas stuff all throughout December. This week, Adam was a bit of a punk. He had to watch "A Christmas Story" and he made it to the point when the Dad gets the leg lamp and was like "I've seen enough". He claims that in his defense it just wasn't...good. So he stopped. We're good with that. Taters also talks about her love of The Polar Express, Matt owns a Pink Nightmare and we determine that a Narwhal could DEFINITELY best Matt in Mortal Kombat! All this and MORE with this week's edition of "FUELED BY NOSTALGIA!!!"

Happy Friendsgiving! Yes, we are friends and we are all about showing appreciation for one another! This week we learn that Matt has a secret identity, Adam can MOST DEFINITELY PHYSICALLY BEST A MOOSE IN HAND TO HOOF COMBAT (if need be) and, once again, Taters reminds us that things in Hawaii are better than the mainland (we're still looking at YOU, disappointing mainland McDonald's breakfasts!!! Get it TOGETHER!!!). It's time for everyone to head to the back of the closet, pull out those pants with the elastic waistband (you know the ones we're talking about), grab your favorite beverage and just chill. Let us take over and entertain you as you gently drift away with that wonderful wave of food coma-induced goodness, where you are no longer fueled by your economic anxieties, you are no longer fueled by the anger your overly political relative has caused and you're CERTAINLY no longer fueled by all the weirdness this timeline has brought in. WE SAY THEE NAY!!! YOU, FRIENDS, ARE NOW FUELED... BY NOSTALGIA!!!

WE CAN #DANCE IF WE WANT TO! WE CAN LEAVE OUR CARES BEHIND...and we do JUST THAT this week on "Fueled by Nostalgia"!!! Yes, it's true, if you're a #music lover, this is where we roll today. We love music, like some people enjoy music, they find it #relaxing, it's even been said that music doth soothe the savage beast. Not us, we LOVE music and we go through it this week. From Taters' love of early 2000s pop to Matt's snooty music sensibilities and then a slight curve to Adam and his wide variety of music loves, let's just say all the nooks and crannies are explored today.
