Today, Dom led off the Dom Giordano Program by discussing the debate playing out in the Supreme Court today over Biden’s federal vaccine mandate, playing back clips from Justice Sonia Sotomayor who is approaching the hearing with a very biased stance, offering misinformation such as the severity of the Omicron variant, falsely alleging that over 100,000 children have been put on ventilators because of the new variant. Then, Giordano offers his side question of the day, asking listeners for things that people only pretend to like. Giordano receives a Tweet, noting that people only pretend to like Shakespeare, which kicks off the Twitter poll for the day, asking whether listeners the same question.
Then, Dom Giordano welcomes in Danielle Lindemuth on the Dom Giordano Program. This week, Danielle went viral after a CNN hit piece drawing ties between her organizing a trip to the Capitol on January 6th, 2021 with the insurrection that occurred later that day. Lindemuth, who has since been elected to a school board position in Lancaster, takes us through the fateful day and gives her point of view on the horrific events that unfolded. In the article, the CNN writer alleges that the insurrection caused Lindemuth to run for school board, which Lindemuth explains as false, telling Giordano of the true reasons why she decided to run was consistent with other grassroots efforts, being radical changes to curriculum.
