In today’s third hour, Giordano welcomes in Dr. David Rubin of the Children’s Hospital in Philadelphia after the organization released new guidance concerning protocols surrounding the Coronavirus pandemic. First, Dr. David Rubin tells why the hospital has decided to adjust the recommendation, and tells why schools should be approaching the Omicron variant as if it were similar to past seasonal illness, rather than treat it as we have past variants. In addition, Dr. Rubin tells about Omicron in a general sense, and tells which symptoms should trigger one to get tested. Then, after playing Dom’s Money Melody and discussing music in a detour, Giordano returns to the political realm by discussing misnomers presented by Democrats within the past two days, playing back a Chicago politician who suggested that the city use whistles to combat a spike in violence, and Jen Psaki’s defense of Kamala Harris’s comparisons between January 6th and 9/11.
