Host, Elena Melchert, talks with Glen Davis, current Director of Energy for the Virginia Departmet of Energy. Mr. Davis talks about the “all of the above” energy policy in Virginia and  the fact that energy demand is growing in the US and even at a rate of 5% year over year in Virginia. He said Virginia is looking at the potential for Hydrogen in South West VA and that there is good work force there to take on the challenge. There are also discussions of a “Hydrogen Hub” located in the future in Norfolk Va. He says that legistatures,  stakeholders and sciencist all need to work together for future energy sources, and the US Hydrogen Alliance Confernce is good place to start.
