Kevin began his oil and gas career in coventional oil and gas as  Petroleum Landman and learned about discoveries of hydrogen in Africa while drilling for water and learned hydrogen is an abundant source around the world. Extracting H-hydrogen is similar to exploring for oil and gas, but hydrogen is found all around the world in deposits different from oil and gas deposits.

The Produced Water Society has grown from just a few hundred to over 8000 members in 2024. Produced Water comes from oil and gas reservoirs with the production.  With emerging technologies, new ways of managing Produced water are being developed. Produced water is often injected back into wells to aid in production and to increase production. Also, there are many critical minerals found in produced water and  there are new ways being developed to treat produced water for other uses.
