We're searching for positives in yet another blowout loss for the Montreal Canadiens, and honestly... We found some.

The coaching staff choosing to reunite the Artturi Lehkonen, Jake Evans, and Joel Armia line from the playoffs paid off in this game, as the trio were absolutely dominant all night long. If that group can become the permanent fourth line once the Habs are healthy, it ain't bad.

Jeff Petry seems to have finally settled into the season, he had a strong game and has been trending in the right direction.

David Savard has been fine, despite what many fans think, and Nick Suzuki remains red hot offensively.

The big question remains; what does the future hold for this team, what's the plan, and when is it enacted?

The Montreal Canadiens played their first great game of the season, admittedly against a shorthanded Red Wings team, but a great game nonetheless.

It should come as no surprise that the game's key players for the Canadiens were Nick Suzuki and Brendan Gallagher, who combined for five points and two of the Canadiens' three goals.

Suzuki's performance was especially exciting for Canadiens fans, who haven't seen him at this level since last year's playoffs.

The biggest question after such a positive step forward for the Canadiens will be if they can build off of it going forward, and if so, does the pressure on Marc Bergevin begin to be relieved?

The Montreal Canadiens have closed out their October schedule, 10 games into the season they're a lowly 2-8-0, good for the third-worst record in the league so far. To make matters worse, their October schedule only featured two opponents who made the playoffs last season.

To say this is a rough start would be a great understatement. How has it all gone SO wrong so quickly?

After breaking down the game, Tito and Andrew will do a completely biased Halloween candy ranking.

The Montreal Canadiens have done it again, allowing five goals for the fifth time in just nine games so far this season, going 2-7-0 to start the season, one of the league's worst records.

At a certain point, something has to break, and the panel spends most of the show breaking down who should be out first, and who should replace them.

The Montreal Canadiens won their second game of the season, with Jake Allen putting on one of the best performances of any goaltender this season in shutting out a Sharks team that pushed hard in the second half of the game.

Brendan Gallagher, Josh Anderson, and Alex Romanov all scored their first goals of the year, and Jonathan Drouin continued his excellent play.

On the defensive side, things remained quite rough, and Jeff Petry still looks out of sorts, but is this a possible turning point now that Nick Suzuki is looking engaged offensively?

Also on today's show, the panel discusses the grotesque mishandling of Brad Aldrich's sexual assault of Kyle Beach in 2010, and their feelings on Marc Bergevin declining to talk to the media about the findings of the Jenner & Block investigation.

The Montreal Canadiens did the thing again, they got blown out by a team that just hasn't been very good.

Seattle's speed was simply way too much for the slow defensive group of the Canadiens to handle, and they ended up chasing plays all night long. Combine that with a very ordinary performance from Jake Allen, and you get another big loss in a month the Canadiens can't afford any more.

The Montreal Canadiens finally won their first game of the season, and they did it in dramatic fashion by scoring six straight goals after allowing the first one early, including a natural hat trick on home ice for Mathieu Perreault.

Perreault was joined in scoring his first of the year by Ben Chiarot, Mike Hoffman, and Christian Dvorak, as the Canadiens finally generated some momentum for the first time this season.

The cherry on top of the win was yet another duo of excellent performances by Jonathan Drouin and Jake Allen, who have arguably been the Canadiens' best players this season.

Also, we make fun of the Toronto Maple Leafs for losing 7-1 to a dramatically weakened Pittsburgh Penguins squad.

On twitter, you can follow Sara at @SaraCivian, and you can follow Arun at @Arunthings.

The Montreal Canadiens have fallen to a historically bad 0-5-0 start to the season, the worst ever for a team that went to the Stanley Cup Final the previous year according to Sportsnet Stats.

Meanwhile, the Carolina Hurricanes secured the ultimate revenge game with Sebastian Aho scoring twice, and Jesperi Kotkaniemi scoring the dagger to put the game away while the Habs were surging.

The powerplay and special teams entirely remain a giant issue, but as the losses pile up, the questions become larger, is there a path forward for this team?

The Canadiens continued their descent into new depths of terribleness by dropping another blowout loss on a team that isn't expected to make the playoffs, with the game seemingly out of reach for the Habs within four minutes of the opening puck drop.

The panelists try to squeeze blood from a stone to extract some positive signs from the game, before detailing what has gone so wrong for the Canadiens both on the ice and off of it, and what needs to be done going forward to not necessarily save the season, but to set the franchise on the right path.

Andrew Berkshire is joined by upcoming hockey writer and more; Marsha Joseph, and statistical expert and professional hot take man Chris Watkins.

You can follow Marsha on twitter at @_mojoseph, and Chris at @yolo_pinyato.

The Montreal Canadiens continue play uninspired hockey to start the season, and appear to be a team without an identity after the losses of Shea Weber, two thirds of their top line from the last three seasons, and missing Carey Price to start the year. The result is a mess of a team that lacks any scoring punch.

The lone bright spots of the Canadiens' start to the season have been the brilliance of Jake Allen in net, and the inspiring return of Jonathan Drouin, who has scored two of the team's paltry three goals.

Should the Canadiens ride Allen and Drouin to get some short term success, or play the long game?

Alexander Romanov and Jake Evans are two players the Canadiens clearly love, but are they miscast?
