Joseph Kent, Director, National Counterterrorism Center, has resigned, explaining his disaffection from the Trump Admin over its attack on Iran.

Kent is a retired U.S. Army Chief Warrant Officer 3 (CW3) and a former Green Beret (Special Forces) with a long career in special operations. He served approximately 20 years in the military, including time as an Army Ranger before transitioning to Special Forces. His military “service” included 11 combat deployments: three years as a Ranger, followed by eight deployments with the 5th Special Forces Group (Green Berets) and three more with a special operations task force. Much of his career focused on “counterterrorism” and unconstitutional occupation operations in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other zones during the fake, ill-titled Global War on Terror. His actions in those zones indicate that he did not conform to his US Constitution, and he allowed himself to be deployed without a Declaration of War.
He retired in 2018. He is a Gold Star husband, having lost his first wife, Shannon Mary Kent (née Smith), in combat. Shannon was a U.S. Navy Senior Chief Petty Officer (promoted posthumously) and cryptologic technician (interpretive), fluent in multiple languages. She served in elite roles, including as a member of JSOC’s Intelligence Support Activity (a secretive special operations intelligence unit), supporting operations with Navy SEALs and other forces. She was the first woman to complete the Naval Special Warfare Direct Support Course and operate in direct combat with Naval Special Warfare units. Here is his X post about Mr. Kent’s decision:

President Trump,
After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today.
I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby.
I support the values and the foreign policies that you campaigned on in 2016, 2020, 2024, which you enacted in your first term. Until June of 2025, you understood that the wars in the Middle East were a trap that robbed America of the precious lives of our patriots and depleted the wealth
and prosperity of our nation.
In your first administration, you understood better than any modern President how to decisively apply military power without getting us drawn into never-ending wars. You demonstrated this by killing Qasam Solamani and by defeating ISIS.
Early in this administration, high-ranking Israeli officials and influential members of the American media deployed a misinformation campaign that wholly undermined your America First platform and sowed pro-war sentiments to encourage a war with Iran. This echo chamber was used to deceive you into believing that Iran posed an imminent threat to the United States, and that should you strike now, there was a clear path to a swift victory. This was a lie and is the same tactic the Israelis used to draw us into the disastrous Iraq war that cost our nation the lives of thousands of our best men and women. We cannot make this mistake again.
As a veteran who deployed to combat 11 times and as a Gold Star husband who lost my beloved wife Shannon in a war manufactured by Israel, I cannot support sending the next generation off to fight and die in a war that serves no benefit to the American people nor justifies the cost of American lives.
I pray that you will reflect upon what we are doing in Iran, and who we are doing it for. The time for bold action is now. You can reverse course and chart a new path for our nation, or you can allow us to slip further toward decline and chaos. You hold the cards.
It was an honor to serve in your administration and to serve our great nation.

Mr. Kent offers a valuable insight re Israel. But he took a long time to steer a bit, just a bit, closer to the US Constitution, and he still is not really acknowledging its rules.
Likewise, Mr. Trump is a confused mess. He hired Kent, but now says that Kent never was good on national security. Since that term is a Barnum word that lets politicians claim “national security” is anything they desire it to be, all for YOUR good, mind you (and without giving you a chance to be free), Trump is using it as an out, while also contradicting himself for his original decision to let the man work for him. It’s also stunning to see Trump claim Mr. Kent was “weak” when Mr. Trump slipped out of military action into which hundreds of thousands of men of his era were conscripted. Trump ALSO claimed today that he was not warned about Iran closing the Strait of Hormuz, even as he claimed that if he had not terminated the “Obama Nuclear Deal” (the JCPOA) Iran would have developed nuke weapons and used them on Israel and other nations. Not only did Iran stick with the JCPOA for nearly a year after the US never abided by it, Iran allowed US INSPECTORS to check its civilian nuclear energy program plus IAEA inspectors to check. Trump pulling out of the agreement circa 2018 led to Iran upping its refinement, but even that was not to weapons-grade level.

Trump was explicitly warned—both by US intelligence and public experts—about the exact scenario he claimed was “unpredictable” in his March 17, 2026 press conference. Multiple credible reports confirm he received briefings beforehand that striking Iran (including Kharg Island) risked Iranian missile/drone retaliation targeting US bases and assets in Gulf states (UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain), potentially drawing those countries into the conflict. MORE LYING - Trump claims that the “Iran nuclear deal” was the “Obama Deal”, once more insinuating that Obama “handed cash” to Iran (as so many MAGA claim) and not noting that this “Obama Deal” was the JCPOA, Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, to which Iran adhered for over a year, but to which the US NEVER adhered save for Obama as part of the agreement (and in exchange for Iran meeting nuclear-related commitments verified by the IAEA), the U.S., EU, UN, and other parties lifting or suspended nuclear-related sanctions. This action unfroze Iranian assets held abroad (primarily in foreign banks, not U.S. ones) that had been restricted due to sanctions. Key estimates from reliable sources around the time of the deal include:

• Total frozen assets potentially accessible: Around $100 billion to $120 billion (common range cited in sources like the Council on Foreign Relations, U.S. Treasury estimates, and analyses from think tanks).

• Usable/liquid amount Iran could actually access: Often estimated at about $50 billion

Of course, as he lied about the JCPOA, Trump also has lied about seeking peace with Iran, and one expects more, as he sends 2.5K troops to Kharg Island (it seems, right now)

Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) has cut its output by about 20% due to disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz, which is crucial for global shipping routes. This shutdown affects approximately 19% of Alba’s total output capacity, which is about 2.2% of global aluminium production. The decision to cut back production is part of a broader strategy to preserve inventory of raw materials amid heavily disrupted maritime shipping routes. The latest ship tracking data shows tankers anchored on both sides of the strait’s entry and exit points, indicating muted traffic. However, the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, which is vital for 20% of the world’s crude oil supply, is compounding the disruption. The situation is further complicated by the Iran war, which has led to force majeure declarations from major smelters and pushed LME prices to a four-year high. The ongoing conflict has forced smelter closures and force majeure declarations across the Middle East’s aluminum industry, threatening a supply crunch in a market where global stocks are near historic lows. Israel just killed 12 Lebanese paramedics

As I got to note on X, Transportation Sec Duffy seems oblivious to the fact that the ICE gang are an unconstitutional, parasitic, group of invaders who breach the 4th Amendment, kidnap people, and are initiating violence against non-aggressive victims. Not only is the word “immigration” not in the US Constitution, not only was it left to the states, Mr. Duffy’s own agency also is unconstitutional and parasitic, a tick on the body of the US economy and individual rights.

The above statement from Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy is tied to the ongoing 2026 federal funding dispute over the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Dems in Congress have been conditioning their support for DHS funding—including for agencies like ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement), CBP (Customs and Border Protection), and TSA—on major “reforms” to immigration goon-gang practices — not elimination of the goon gang. Key demands include:

• Banning or restricting federal agents (especially ICE) from wearing masks/face coverings during operations.

• Requiring body cameras.

• Mandating judicial warrants (instead of administrative ones) for certain actions like home entries.

• Other accountability measures, such as visible identification.

Republicans and Trump admin officials have framed these demands—particularly the mask issue—as an attempt to expose agents’ identities, making them vulnerable to doxxing, harassment, and threats against their families. This matches Duffy’s exact rhetoric in the clip: accusing Democrats of wanting agents unmasked specifically to enable doxxing and targeting of agents, their spouses, and children. The standoff escalated into a partial DHS shutdown (now around 30 days as of mid-March 2026), affecting operations like TSA airport security and leading to long lines and chaos at airports.

Trump is deploying over 2,000 marines to the Persian Gulf. How they will get close to Iran, one cannot fathom, how they will get supplied, one cannot fathom. What else they will do, perhaps targeting Kharg Island?

**AND FOR THOSE INTERESTED! Here is a “FIRST-PART” overview of the logistical-tactical situation in the Middle East, as the US recklessly commits your cash (and the earnings of the unborn), to slaughtering innocent people in Iran…
-FIRST, it certainly looks like Iraqi Shiite allies of Iran has shot down a U.S. Air Force KC-135 Stratotanker (aerial refueling aircraft, often called a “135” or “KC-135”) over Iraq (they refuel there for safety, but, obviously, this isn’t working all that well). The US claims that two KC-135 tankers were involved in an incident; one crashed, the other landed safely. AND the U.S. military explicitly stated it was not due to hostile fire (e.g., from Iran or proxies) or friendly fire. This appears to be a lie. Majore news outlets have confirmed that six crew members were killed. The Islamic Resistance in Iraq (an umbrella of Iran-backed militias) claimed responsibility, noting use of a surface-to-air missile or “appropriate weapon,” and said they targeted a second one (forcing an emergency landing). This was reported by Reuters, Al Jazeera, NY Post, and others. - FIVE days ago, Larry Johnson warned about the US air “power” vulnerability west of Iran, writing at SONAR21: “The US does not have air supremacy. The US and Israeli planes are flying close to Iran’s western border and releasing primarily the Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile aka JASSAMs, which have a range between 230 and 600 miles depending on the variant (AGM-158A JASSM (baseline): ~370 km [230 miles] and AGM-158B JASSM-ER (Extended Range): ~980 km [610 miles]). I don’t know how many, if any, S300-S400 are deployed in Iran. Iran has reportedly shot down 29 MQ9s and Hermes drones since 28 February, which represents a financial loss of $800 million.”
And those financial losses are tied to supply-chain problems - rooting all the way to manufacturing speed barriers. For example…
-AWACS, aerial-borne platforms. Without those airborne radars, the US and Israel are blind. These are, incredibly expensive, in the hundreds of millions of dollars to build and run. And, they are incredibly difficult to replace. One of them was destroyed - directly, or indirectly - by Iran because it landed in the first week. In fact, reports note that it was destroyed by a drone. The US and Israelis still have airborn RADAR, but it has been badly hobbled.
NEXT. The Patriot system and the THAAD systems, are jokes. And the mathematics of it don’t work out. A Patriot missile battery (also called a firing unit or fire unit) typically consists of up to 8 launching stations (launchers), though configurations can vary from 6 to 8 depending on the operator and mission requirements. The total number of missiles it can hold depends on the rocket variant (primarily PAC-2 vs. PAC-3 family) and the launcher type (e.g., M902 or modern M903).

• For PAC-2 missiles (older, larger interceptors with one missile per canister): Each launcher holds up to 4 missiles → A full battery (8 launchers) can hold up to 32 missiles.

• For PAC-3 CRI (Cost Reduction Initiative variant): Each launcher holds up to 16 missiles (4 canisters × 4 missiles each) → A full battery can hold up to 128 missiles.

• For PAC-3 MSE (Missile Segment Enhancement, the most advanced and commonly referenced modern variant): Each launcher holds up to 12 missiles (due to the larger size of MSE missiles) → A full battery can hold up to 96 missiles. Mixed loads are possible (e.g., some launchers with 12 MSE + others with PAC-3 CRI for higher density), but pure MSE configurations top out around 96.

Most modern U.S. and allied Patriot batteries prioritize PAC-3 MSE for ballistic missile defense, so the practical maximum loadout is often cited as around 96 missiles per battery (with 8 launchers × 12 MSE each). This is a significant increase over older PAC-2 setups but still limited compared to the sheer volume of threats in high-intensity conflicts. Replenishing the system (i.e., replacing expended missiles) is expensive due to the high unit cost of the interceptors. Costs vary by contract, procurement year, quantity, and whether it’s domestic U.S. procurement vs. export/Foreign Military Sales (which often includes extras like support, training, or logistics).

• The PAC-3 MSE (current primary variant) has a unit cost of approximately $3.87 million to $4.2 million per missile based on recent U.S. Army FY2025–2026 budget documents and multiyear contracts (e.g., around $3.871 million in some Army procurement figures, up to $4.2 million in others). Export prices can reach $6–7 million per missile when including canisters, warranties, and full packages.

• For a full battery reload assuming a pure PAC-3 MSE loadout (e.g., 96 missiles): This would cost roughly $370 million to $400 million at the lower-end unit price (96 × ~$3.9M), or higher with export premiums or additional support elements.

• Note that replenishment isn’t just missiles— it can involve logistics, testing, and integration—but the dominant cost is the interceptors themselves. Production is ramping up significantly (e.g., Lockheed Martin aiming for 2,000 per year from ~600), driven by global demand from conflicts like Ukraine and the Middle East - so, of course, we know the grand ol’ M-I is making lots of money off of death.

(BTW, these figures are based on open-source defense analyses, U.S. budget justifications, and contractor reports as of 2026. Exact costs can fluctuate with inflation, contract specifics, and bulk discounts in large orders.)
-Something important to note about PATRIOT systems… When those missiles are fired at a threat, an incoming missile, you’ve got to fire two of them. So, we can do the math. The US had 4,620 PAC-3 rockets, stockpiled and noted since 2015. Many of those were sent to Ukraine. Two each on each firing, that means 2,310. In the four-years of Russia v Ukraine, Russia has fired over 12K missiles, so, even if one were to think the US were wise in sending the PAC3s to Ukraine, the Russians outnumbered the PAC3 supply long ago. That makes one question how much remains in Ukraine? AND the US recently asked Ukraine to SELL systems back to the US so the US can send them to Israel. The US has depleted its supply in the Middle East. What I know from contacts in military intel in DC is that at least one of the US military bases in the Middle East, they are completely depleted. They have no more air defense.
AND AIR SUPREMACY, as Hegseth claimed this week, and again claimed at his absurd presser this morning?

-As Larry Johnson notes at SONAR21: “The US does not have air supremacy. -Let’s look some more at Hegseth’s presser this morning. This was his repeat of the nonsense that the US slaughter in Minab was “being investigated”, and he stressed that ONLY IRAN targets civilians and the US doesn’t. (Ask the boaters near VZ, or the Japanese civilians in WWII, or Randy Weaver, or the people at WACO, or the Ukrainians that the CIA helped kill for the Maidan Coup, or the Russians that the US helped kill in Ukrainian-US-NATO attacks on trains, apartment buildings, and reservoirs.)

-In the realm of human affairs, where the sovereignty of each soul demands freedom from the coercive edicts of politicians, President Trump’s proclamation of victory in the conflict with Iran rings hollow. On Wednesday, he declared “we’ve won” the war against Iran, yet evidently, no one informed the Iranians themselves.

-When told that his own sub-agencies are admitting that US arms slaughtered 176 people, mostly small children, in Minab, Iran on the first day of the immoral US aggression, Trump simply dismissed it all with “I don’t know about it…” No acceptance of responsibility, nothing.

-Reports indicate that Iran has ignited at least two pro-Israel-pro-US ships attempting to navigate the Strait of Hormuz,

…a stark reminder that political decrees from US warmongers cannot secure passage through vital waterways. Since no presidential fiat can magically ensure the flow of oil through contested routes, the White House has announced plans to unleash 400 million barrels from assorted national petroleum reserves. This move taps into what are ostensibly emergency stockpiles, all to mitigate the entirely foreseeable fallout from a conflict ignited by U.S. actions.

First, how about a tax-funded entity NOT compete against consumers at ANY time to buy fuel and keep it locked up? Second… The “reserve” stockpile is virtually meaningless when it comes to practical use in the market and price effects. The announced release from U.S. “strategic reserves”—more precisely, the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR)—involves the United States contributing 172 million barrels as part of a broader, coordinated International Energy Agency (IEA) effort totaling 400 million barrels from member nations’ emergency stocks. This drawdown aims to offset supply disruptions tied to the ongoing US-Israeli-generated aggression against Iran, and attacks in the Strait of Hormuz. Official statements from the Department of Energy indicate that the U.S. portion will begin deliveries next week and take approximately 120 days (roughly four months) to fully enter the market, based on planned discharge rates.
This timeline reflects practical constraints: the SPR’s infrastructure allows a maximum initial withdrawal rate of about 4.4 million barrels per day for up to 90 days, after which rates taper, but actual releases in recent history (including coordinated actions) have averaged closer to 1 million to 2 million barrels per day to avoid overwhelming logistics or market dynamics. At the announced pace for this 172 million-barrel release, the effective average is around 1.4 million barrels per day over those 120 days.
For context on the reserve itself, as of early March 2026 (data from the week ending March 6), the SPR holds approximately 415 million barrels out of an authorized capacity of 714 million barrels—roughly 58% full. After this drawdown, the U.S. inventory would drop to about 243 million barrels (assuming no simultaneous purchases or additions during the release period), though the administration has stated plans to replace more than the withdrawn amount—around 200 million barrels—within the next year at no direct taxpayer cost. To illustrate duration in broader terms: if one were to hypothetically apply the full 172 million barrels against average U.S. crude oil and petroleum product consumption (currently around 20-21 million barrels per day based on recent EIA (IEA) data and projections for 2026), it would theoretically cover roughly 8-9 days of total national demand.

It underscores how political commands, far from respecting the individual’s right to voluntary exchange and peaceful commerce, instead disrupt global trade and force reliance on centralized hoards controlled by bureaucrats. Tracing back to the spark that lit this conflagration, the New York Times reveals that the initial assault on a girls’ school in Tehran was, in truth, a U.S. military blunder—a so-called “targeting mistake.” As the Times notes, “Striking a school full of children is sure to be recorded as one of the most devastating single military errors in recent decades. Iranian officials have said the death toll was at least 175 people, most of them children.” When pressed on this tragedy, President Trump claimed ignorance, asserting he knew nothing of it. Such a stance strains credulity; this was the very strike that propelled the war forward, the inaugural act in a chain of violence. Surely, the commander-in-chief, whose orders propel such operations, cannot feign detachment from the consequences that trample the sacred autonomy of innocent lives.
Amid the global attention being devoted to the Iranian theater, Arab leaders are sounding alarms over Israel’s seizure and sealing of the Al-Aqsa Mosque’s gates. Last week, under the guise of threats from Iranian missiles, Israeli authorities shuttered this hallowed site in old Jerusalem—a cornerstone of Muslim devotion, particularly amid the observances of Ramadan. A joint declaration from regional leaders insists that Israel “immediately cease the closure of the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque, remove access restrictions to the Old City of Jerusalem, and refrain from obstructing Muslim worshippers’ access to the mosque.” One cannot help but ponder if this maneuver aligns with the aspirations of Jewish fundamentalists to erect the Third Temple upon that very ground—a development that could transmute this already grievous international strife into an unbridled clash of faiths, further eroding the individual’s liberty to pursue spiritual solace free from political impositions. In a world where each person’s soul claims sovereignty over their own beliefs and actions, such encroachments serve only to inflame divisions, reminding us that true harmony arises not from state mandates, but from the unhindered choices of free individuals.

Then, there’s the JONES ACT, which forces foreign shippers to offload their goods and have them taken by US shippers after the first US port, then on to other US ports. Insane.

BREAKING: GULF - multiple sources report that at least three commercial ships, including oil tankers and cargo vessels, were struck by projectiles—likely missiles or drones—near the Strait of Hormuz in the Persian Gulf. These incidents occurred amid escalating tensions in the ongoing Iran conflict involving the US, Israel, and regional allies. Iran has claimed responsibility for at least some of the strikes, stating they targeted vessels ignoring warnings from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). The attacks have disrupted shipping in this critical waterway, which handles about 20% of global oil transit, contributing to oil prices surpassing $100 per barrel.

• Incidents, as they appear to be, atm: The strikes happened early on March 11, with one ship (the Thailand-flagged Mayuree Naree) catching fire and requiring crew evacuation. Another, the Liberian-flagged Express Room, was halted after being hit. A third unidentified vessel was also struck

Let’s look at what the Trump-Netanyahu criminal cabal has done…
The White House seems seized by frenzy over Iran’s defensive measures disrupting shipping in the Strait of Hormuz, following the aggressive strikes launched by the U.S. and Israel against Iranian soil—yet Reuters reveals that the U.S. Navy is incapable of honoring the administration’s vow to protect merchant vessels. Just days ago, President Trump proclaimed on social media that American naval forces would, “if necessary,” shepherd ships through those waters and even insure/furnish recompense for any harms suffered. Bold words are simple to post, but far harder to enact, particularly when they rely on compelling taxpayers to finance the insurance and the military interventions that also, clearly violate individuals’ rights.
As Reuters indicates, drawing from three industry sources: “The U.S. Navy has held regular briefings with shipping and oil industry counterparts and has said during those briefings it is unable to provide escorts for the time being.” In the meantime, some Trump-aligned online commentators are mocking tanker captains as faint-hearted for hesitating amid the chaos sparked by U.S.-Israeli initiation of hostilities. I’d propose those same voices take the wheel on the lead unprotected transit, themselves.
Of course, Trump’s bold pronouncement about protecting a ship came as what appears to have been an attempt to lower oil prices, and prices leveled out for a while after he posted his claim on Truth Social and X, buuuut, then, the claim was removed and debunked, and oil prices rose.
In a similar fashion, Trump heralded “a new refinery in Texas”—though credit for it scarcely fits his administration, as its debut was proclaimed in 2024, well before his re-ascendancy. The refinery in question, located at the Port of Brownsville, Texas, and now spearheaded by America First Refining (building on earlier efforts by Element Fuels Holdings announced in June 2024), only has seen site preparation completed and key permits secured last year. Full-scale construction has not commenced—groundbreaking is slated for the second quarter of 2026, meaning it’s months away from even beginning to build out the facility, let alone processing any crude oil into usable products.
Once operational—likely years down the line, given the typical timelines for such ventures—it aims to handle around 160,000 barrels per day of light shale oil…
Might one local facility offset the rupture to peaceful international trade wrought by such bellicose actions? The calculation is plain enough for anyone to discern.
Prior to the much-heralded, slightly off-truth, announcement of this new Texas refinery (again, it is NOT “starting” but is only NOW starting CONSTRUCTION)—touted as a boon for domestic production but announced well before the current administration took office—the United States had not seen a genuine new grassroots oil refinery (a full-scale facility built from the ground up with significant atmospheric distillation capacity) come online in nearly half a century. The last major new refinery constructed and brought into operation was Marathon Petroleum’s facility in Garyville, Louisiana, which began operations in 1977 with an initial capacity of 200,000 barrels per calendar day (b/cd). That plant, now expanded substantially, remains a benchmark for why large-scale greenfield refinery builds have been extraordinarily rare since then, thanks to layers of unconstitutional federal regulatory diktats, environmental permitting challenges, and local opposition that make such projects prohibitively expensive and time-consuming for private enterprise.
To take a broader view. Let’s note that a “greenfield refinery” is a new petroleum refinery constructed entirely from scratch on previously undeveloped or “virgin” land—often literally open fields or green spaces with no prior industrial infrastructure in place. The term “greenfield” draws from real estate and development lingo, where it contrasts with “brownfield” sites (previously used industrial land that may require cleanup or remediation).
Smaller or specialized facilities, such as condensate splitters or incremental additions, have appeared more recently—for instance, the Texas International Terminals refinery in Galveston, Texas, which started up in February 2022 with 45,000 b/cd capacity—but these do not qualify as full traditional crude oil refineries on the scale of pre-1980 builds. As for the current total, according to the most recent U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) data as of January 1, 2025 (with no major net change indicated into early 2026 prior to any new openings), there were 132 operable petroleum refineries in the United States, spread across roughly 30 states, with a combined operable atmospheric distillation capacity of about 18.4 million barrels per day. One solitary new facility, even if it eventually reaches full operation, will do little to meaningfully alter the broader picture of voluntary global oil markets disrupted by foreign conflicts—especially when individuals’ rights to engage in peaceful trade remain threatened by coercive foreign aggression or the domestic taxation required to sustain endless military responses. The math on offsetting widespread supply chain interruptions with one plant simply doesn’t add up. The entire concept of the US government controlling “permission” for exploration, drilling, and refining not only is unconstitutional, it is immoral, and leads to economic problems such as our current situation. I obviously can’t disclose classified info, but you deserve to know how incoherent and incomplete these war plans are. 1/ Here’s what I can share: 2/ Maybe the lead is that the war goals DO NOT involve destroying Iran’s nuclear weapons program. This is, uh...surprising...since Trump says over and over this is a key goal. But then of course we already know air strikes can’t wipe out their nuclear material. 3/ Second, they confirmed “regime change” is also NOT on the list. So, they are going to spend hundreds of billions of your taxpayer dollars, get a whole bunch of Americans killed, and a hardline regime - probably a MORE anti-American hardline regime - will still be in charge.’
