WARAs we broadcast last night and expressed skepticism over the “Apache shot down by Iran” narrative, figuring it was a pretext for Trump to attack Iran and for Netanyahu to expand his aggression in Lebanon, Gaza, and the West Bank, the reality unfolded, live, and proved those suspicions well founded. RT reported early on “US strikes Iran in response to helicopter incident — RT World News” LINK ANTIWAR covers it LINK
Natali Morris nails it, in her Redacted morning email. Watch Redacted, M-Thurs, 4 PM on Rumble, YT, or the Redacted X Account…
’The U.S. began striking Iran overnight in retaliation for what President Trump said was a downed helicopter that was patrolling the Strait of Hormuz. CENTCOM says that it is done now, as if it were a movie premiere that came and went.
In response, Iran reportedly launched attacks on the U.S. Fifth Fleet base in Bahrain, U.S. assets in Jordan, Kuwait, and possibly Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
The extent of the damage on either side has yet to be assessed as of this writing. IranianForeign Minister Abbas Araghchi warned that the U.S. should cease escalating with Iran because its military “will leave no attack or threat unanswered. Leave our region if you want to be safe.”
All of this started over an empty helicopter? The story is fishy. President Trump said that there were only two pilots on board but “both are safe and uninjured.”
There are many unconfirmed reports that there were seven people aboard, not two, and that they did not survive. Why else would the U.S. respond to the destruction of an empty aircraft?
Again, the U.S. is calling this “self-defense.”
The U.S. flew into sovereign territory that it has repeatedly attacked over the last year and was shot down by the country it regularly attacks. Now they claim self-defense. It’s Orwellian.
While this is all happening, Israel has continued to bomb Lebanon. Recall that Iran’s condition for peace was that Israel stop its invasion of Lebanon, but while the U.S. and Iran duke it out, Israel can do whatever it wants.’
THUS, the US pretext became revealed as the night darkened, and Iran’s government released this
And then, the US attacked water resources… 20,000 people now have to scramble to get water from some alt source, if possible.
And Saudi allowed US to use Saudi airspace. US aerial refueling tankers (e.g., KC-46A Pegasus) have been active over or near Saudi airspace/Gulf of Oman in the same timeframe, providing logistical support. Some posts reference tankers operating in coordination with Saudi aircraft or transiting the area.
The US attacked Bandar Abbas, Qeshm Island, Sirik, Jask, and Minab. These were carried out by US Air Force and Navy fighter jets, with CENTCOM describing them as “self-defense responses.”

WARISRAEL-LEBANON-GAZA-WEST BANK-IRANMr. Itamar Ben-Gvir now adds kidnapping of women and kids to his open calls for mass slaughter and land seizure in Lebanon.
This, while he rightfully is the focus of an Italian investigation for his mistreatment of the Homuz Flotilla members Israel recently kidnapped, and many of whom claim of physical abuse at the hands of Gvir and the IDF.
Netanyahu now claims Israeli aggression over the last day came because Iran was going to launch nuclear weapons - weapons Trump claimed to stop Iran from developing, even though Iran was not developing them and only recently was given the defensive incentive to attempt that, if they have been dealing with Pakistan to acquire such a weapon.

US-IRANTrump claims he will be able to declare “total victory” over Iran in two weeks. Here is the RT headline “Trump sets yet another timeline for ‘total victory’ in Iran — RT World News” and the link
——Buuuut…. Trump ALSO said YESTERDAY that the US and Iran were “near a deal” within two days (he has said this 37 times since February). AND… Since Trump also just claimed that the Iranians shot down an Apache helicopter where it was not supposed to be during a so-called “ceasefire” — that being a location over the Strait of Hormuz (more likely over the Strait of Oman), he already has shown that he is continuing his lying ways.
Now, in response to the Iranian response to the US aggression, Trump says the US will “respond”. Get it?
SO far, this is what we know re the downing of this chopper. Here is ANTIWAR on it… - The “downing” occurred near Oman’s coast… Trump and the US DoD claim Iran downed it with a Shaheed drone. This is unlikely because those drones stand little chance of taking down an apache at speed or close to it. Nonetheless, Trumpola, as we note above, has vowed that the US “must, of necessity, respond” to what he described as Iran shooting down the Army AH-64 Apache, but he has not announced or detailed any concrete military, diplomatic, or other steps yet. One wonders how the helicopter was shot down but the pilots survived. If the main rotor got hit, the chopper would drop like a rock and it would be hard for anyone aboard to jump because the rotors would still catch them. IF they were shot down and the rear rotor was hit, they could survive more easily. But why would Trump make such a big matter of this, if he truly wanted to get to his “deal”? He would downplay it. This is not a good sign that Trump is to believed about this new claim of pursuing and being close to a “deal”. And the News Establishment of the NYT reports that Iran and the US have negotiated nuclear portions of the “deal” - this, also, is bogus. Iran repeatedly has stated that such talks will come in months, AFTER a real ceasefire/end of hostilities. Here is Larry Johnson on it
Daniel Davis agrees. Here is the latest from Iran on the chopper and any potential US response.
Lt Col Karen Kwiatowski agrees that this story from the Trumpers smacks of an alternate intent, and adds key thoughts on Israel’s continued control over Trump, the US Congress, but Mario N offers another point to consider that I want to include to see what you think
And it does look like the Israelis will keep pummeling Lebanon, and Trump will do nothing about it, perhaps even using these murky “helicopter” events as shoehorns to let Israel continue its takeover of southern Leb - Here is more to the puzzle
This is dubious
This is more believable

GAZANatali Morris, of Redacted (streaming live on YT and Rumble, m-th at 4 pm eastern US time) offers key thoughts about the Israeli announcement that the Palestinians trapped in Gaza “have enough food” and Israel will close the food shipments.
‘Israel has once again cut off humanitarian aid to Gaza, this time in response to Iranian missile strikes that followed Israel’s bombing of Beirut.
The missiles weren’t fired from Gaza, so why is Gaza the one being deprived of aid?
Israeli authorities announced the closure of the main border crossings used to bring food, medicine, and other humanitarian supplies into the territory.
COGAT released a statement claiming that “the closure of the crossings will not affect the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip. The substantial quantities of food that have entered the Strip since the beginning of the ceasefire significantly exceed the nutritional needs of the population.”
That claim doesn’t square with what international agencies have been reporting.
According to the World Food Programme, at least 1.6 million people, about 77 percent of the population in Gaza, are facing acute food insecurity. Aid groups have warned that the amount of assistance entering Gaza has fallen well below what is needed to sustain the population.
This is why human rights organizations have repeatedly accused Israel of using starvation as a weapon of war. After all, if food, water, and medicine can be turned on and off whenever Israel wants to pressure or punish an entire population, what else would you call it?
At this point, Israel isn’t hiding anything. The crossings were closed openly and publicly in a plan to use two million civilians as leverage in a geopolitical dispute.
If history is any guide, there will be plenty of statements condemning this, but no action to actually stop it.’

Yet… The FDD also is well known as a big booster of ICE deportations of “other” migrants, sooo, yeah, that works (not). One wonders if they realize people can notice that… embers of the Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD) have spoken in favor of ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) actions within the US to deport illegal immigrants, particularly when framed through a national security lens. FDD, a national security-focused think tank, consistently ties immigration enforcement to counterterrorism, counterespionage, and border security. They do not appear to oppose interior enforcement in general and have criticized what they claim are lax deportation practices, calling them “security risks.” LINK
Key examples include:
Craig Singleton (Senior Fellow and China Program Senior Director) has testified before Congress on the “unprecedented surge” in Chinese illegal immigration. He highlighted that many individuals with final deportation orders (nearly 10%, or about 100,000 in one period) are not actually removed due to non-cooperation from China and other issues. This testimony frames non-enforcement as a national security vulnerability, implicitly supporting stronger ICE/DHS interior enforcement and actual deportations to mitigate risks like espionage or influence operations.
FDD has published supportive coverage of specific ICE interior actions. For instance, an FDD analysis reported positively on ICE’s arrest of a Columbia University student (Mahmoud Khalil) for activities “aligned to Hamas,” noting his potential green card revocation and deportation under Trump administration policies against anti-Semitism and terrorism support. Similar pieces back the deportation of individuals with Hezbollah ties (e.g., a Brown University professor denied entry and ordered removed).
In FDD’s policy recommendations on Iran, the organization explicitly called for strengthening “Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) interdiction efforts for persons of interest connected to the regime.”

US ECONOMYHOME SALES WILL CONTINUE TO DIE this piece is “fair” but opens up the window to understanding that the market is over-saturated, loan rates are going to be high because the US government has to float bonds at higher returns due to the inflated currency and also because the fed might not be as inclined to lower the Fed Funds rate as it was a month ago. The lower they make the rate, the lower the borrowing rate would be, but the steeper the inflation rate. SCOTT BESSENT claimed that manufacturing construction rose 17-19 percent in may (Scott Bessent on oil markets, manufacturing growth | Watch) - He made it up. The May data isn’t out from the BLM, and… during an appearance on Fox Business’ Mornings with Maria, stating that “manufacturing construction [is] up 17, 19%” in the context of gains in American manufacturing, factory-related jobs, and capital spending. No official U.S. government data supports a 17–19% increase in manufacturing construction for May (or the most recent reported month). In fact, the latest figures show the opposite trend. The Census Bureau’s monthly Value of Construction Put in Place report tracks spending on new manufacturing buildings and structures (seasonally adjusted annual rate, in millions of dollars). The most recent release covers April 2026 (data released June 1, 2026; May 2026 data is not yet available and is scheduled for early July):

The odds of Mark Lynch beating Senator Lindsey Graham (i.e., winning the Republican nomination) are extremely low—roughly 1–2% according to real-time prediction markets.
This is the Republican primary for South Carolina’s U.S. Senate seat (Class II), held today, June 9, 2026. Graham is the four-term incumbent seeking a fifth term; Lynch is his strongest challenger (a Greenville businessman and appliance executive running as an “America First” conservative). Other candidates (Calvin Cowen, Thomas Dismukes, Patrick Herrmann, Darius Mitchell) are polling in low single digits.
Recent polls (June 2026) consistently show Graham leading Lynch by a wide margin but hovering near or just above the 50% threshold needed to avoid a runoff (June 23):
Trafalgar Group (June 5–7): Graham 49%, Lynch 29%, other/undecided 22%.

WARTrump claims on NBC that he never promised, “no new wars,”
IRANIs the long line of Trumpist lies re “negotiations” ever going to be tied to reality? Last night, Iran struck back against Israeli military sites, and Yemen launched against Saudi-US military and Israeli sites after Israeli aggressors attacked Beirut, killed at least two people and injured 11. Yemeni forces also appear to be readying to close the RED SEA to any shipping tied to Israel.
IRAN demands:
a. Israeli ceasefire over all of Lebanon b. Iranian funds returned by US and its proxies per the JCPOA agreement and international law c. Reparations d. NEW: Israel stop all kinetic activity in Gaza and allow food to return. e. Iran will control its territorial waters in the Strait of H. f. All talks re nuke power will wait at least 60 days to show US is willing to abide for a while.
Here is ANTIWAR on the unfolding situation. “Ceasefire On the Brink of Collapse as Iran Responds to Israeli Attacks on Beirut - News From Antiwar.com” LINK The Iranians explicitly have said “ceasefire for all, or ceasefire for no one.” This, of course, means that Trump can try to engage in rhetoric or even in “real talks” with Iran, but Netanyahu immediately can undercut those talks by attacking Lebanon.
Jeremy Scahill and a few others on X are beginning to post the latest - that Iran is holding further fire unless Israel attacks Lebanon again.
And, again, Yemen’s Ansar Allah appears ready to block Israeli shipping
NOTE, BREAKING - Israel claims these were “false alarms”… No other word on this… let’s return to the story —
Natali Morris, of Redacted, offers keen insights about the Iranian undertaking, which is part of a series of RESPONSES to Israeli aggression. Here is her excellent coverage, from the Redacted morning E-mail:
’Iran launched a series of missile attacks on Israeli military bases in what is called Operation True Promise 5.
Iranian embassy channels say that this was “a warning shot.” They said that it was to “reiterate [that] the condition for a ceasefire has always been the total halting of conflicts across the entire region.”
This means Lebanon. They insist that Israel cease its attacks on Lebanon, which ramped up over the weekend, killing at least two people and injuring more than a dozen.
President Trump has reportedly asked Israel not to respond to the Iranian attacks and Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has reportedly agreed. But then they responded anyway by striking “military targets belonging to the Iranian terror regime in western and central Iran.”
Meanwhile, Israel will take it out on the people of Gaza. Israel has closed down crossings into the Gaza Strip, which will hamper the inflow of aid. But don’t worry about the aid. An Israeli statement said this:
“The substantial quantities of food that have entered the Strip since the beginning of the ceasefire significantly exceed the nutritional needs of the population, according to UN methodologies.”
In other words, they have enough.
It is too early to assess the damage of Operation True Promise 5 but early reports say that the target was Israel’s Ramat David airbase. Israel claims that it intercepted the missiles and did not report injuries but video evidence shows that this claim is false.
It is worth noting why this was called Operation True Promise 5.
Operation True Promise 1 started in April of 2024 after Israel struck an Iranian consulate in Damascus and killed Iranian officials. Iran retaliated with a missile strike in Israel.
Operation True Promise 2 began in October of 2024 after Israel targeted Iranian commander Abbas Nilforoushan and his family in their home inside Iran. Iran fired missiles back over Israel, aimed at military bases and infrastructure.
Operation True Promise 3 is also referred to as the 12-Day War. It began in June of 2025 after Israel struck Iranian military targets and the U.S. followed up with bombers. We were assured that Iran’s “nuclear program” was demolished and Iran responded with a barrage of missile attacks over Israel.
Operation True Promise 4 began on February 28 of this year after the U.S. and Israel struck a civilian school of young girls inside of Iran, killing at least 150 children.
Operation True Promise 5, well, you’re living through it. President Trump told NBC News that he intends for the conflict with Iran to be wrapped up very soon. It’s not even a war really, he said. “I call it a military exercise.”’
-Meanwhile, the grossness of US “policy makers” (i.e. gangsters) knows no bounds. Bessent wants to hand the escrowed (stolen) Iranian money to US allies in the Gulf region. AND… A FOLLOW-UP RE IRANIAN FUEL EXPORTSWe Friday noted in the News Notes that the Kobeissei letter had observed that Iranian oil-gas exports had crashed.
This seemed to run counter to what we had verified about Q1 Iranian exports and profits, with exports about the same as the during the same period in 2025 and profits up, due to higher prices.
Well, we dug in and found more information, and the K Letter has the facts well laid out, for Q2. This second quarter has seen a massive decline in Iranian exports. The Kobeissi report (and similar analyses from tanker trackers like Vortexa, Kpler, and UANI) is accurate and does not contradict what you heard about Q1 2026. The key is timing: your information refers to January–March 2026 (pre-blockade), while the May collapse reflects the U.S. naval blockade that began on April 13, 2026.
Q1 2026 Oil Exports vs. Q1 2025 (and Revenue)
Volumes were roughly comparable (or only modestly lower) to 2025 levels. Independent tanker-tracking data from UANI shows:
January 2026: ~1.51 million barrels per day (bpd).
March 2026: ~1.14 million bpd (down due to early wartime disruptions after the conflict escalated around Feb. 28).
Overall Q1 2026 average was in the 1.5–1.6+ million bpd range, similar to 2025 averages (which hovered around 1.6–1.7 million bpd in the first half of the year). Prices were significantly higher due to the Iran conflict (which began escalating in late February 2026 and caused a global oil price surge of roughly 40% in Q1). This offset any minor volume dips and boosted revenue.
As a result, Iran likely earned more from oil exports in Q1 2026 than in Q1 2025, even if volumes were similar or slightly down. For context, March 2026 exports alone were valued at ~$3.63 billion despite lower volumes, thanks to the price spike.
This matches what we got to report… Pre-blockade, Iran’s shadow fleet and sanctions-evasion tactics kept seaborne crude/condensate flows steady (mostly to China).
The May 2026 Collapse (Post-Blockade)
The U.S. naval blockade (targeting vessels at Iranian ports in the Persian Gulf and Gulf of Oman) took full effect after mid-April:
April 2026: Exports fell to ~1.34 million bpd (partial month impact).
May 2026: Crashed to 209,000 bpd (Vortexa) or ~260,000 bpd (Kpler estimate)—the lowest since 2019–2020. This is an 84% drop from April and 87–89% below recent averages.
Tens of millions of barrels are now stranded in floating storage or at ports; China’s imports of Iranian crude plunged. The blockade has been highly effective at choking seaborne crude flows, with only tiny volumes (if any) slipping through via smaller tankers or evasion tactics.
Natural gas exports (mostly via pipelines to Turkey and Iraq) were largely unaffected by the naval blockade, though domestic priorities and war-related issues at facilities like South Pars caused some curtailments.
Petrochemical Exports (Sea vs. Land Routes)
Petrochemicals (e.g., methanol, polyethylene, ethylene glycol, fertilizers, naphtha) are a major non-oil revenue source for Iran—historically ~$20–30 billion annually pre-war, with much of it seaborne to Asia.
Sea routes (vast majority pre-2026): These were devastated. In April 2026, Iran halted all petrochemical exports (state directive) to prioritize domestic supply amid war damage to plants (e.g., strikes on Mahshahr and South Pars hubs disrupted ~85% of export capacity) and raw material shortages.
By May, only minimal seaborne volumes got out—mostly small naphtha shipments (a petrochemical product) to China. No significant crude got past the blockade, per UANI.
Land/overland routes: Iran has ramped up efforts here to bypass the blockade, but volumes remain small and cannot replace sea exports:
Rail: Limited shipments of crude, bitumen, and petrochemicals to China via corridors through Kazakhstan/Turkmenistan (or Pakistan-linked routes). Transit is ~15 days (vs. 30–40 by sea), but capacity is tiny compared to tankers—trains can’t handle bulk crude volumes at scale.
Truck/pipeline-adjacent: Petroleum liquids and some petrochemical products go to neighbors (e.g., Iraq, Turkey) by truck. These routes are unaffected by the naval blockade.
Overall impact: These are “niche supplements” at best. Analysts (e.g., Soufan Center, Lloyd’s List) note they help marginally with general trade but don’t move meaningful oil or petrochemical volumes. No public data shows large Q1–Q2 2026 increases that offset sea losses.
In short: Petrochemical sea exports were already curtailed by war damage and the April halt, then further squeezed by the blockade. Land routes provide some relief for products but are logistically limited and haven’t restored prior revenue levels.
Bottom line: The Q1 information holds up— and the new the blockade’s effects are a post-April phenomenon. Crude oil (the focus of Kobeissi’s report) has collapsed at sea, while petrochemicals shifted to a domestic-first policy with limited land rerouting. Natural gas pipelines continue operating relatively normally. Sustained blockade pressure is creating real fiscal strain on Iran, as oil/pet-chem revenues (its lifeline) are now severely curtailed. Data here draws from tanker trackers (UANI, Vortexa, Kpler), Reuters, Lloyd’s List, and other independent sources.

THE INTEL FUSION: US-ISRAEL - PROPOSED BY TOM COTTONAs Liberty Conspirators (Is that a term? Sounds good to me!) got to explore Friday, June 5, not only is the 2027 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) pushing to integrate US and Israeli military interests/corporations as a way to bring US graft directly to Israeli fungal figures (and see near permanent establishment of US-Israeli corporations in many states, which will retard attempts to disconnect from Israel), Tom Cotton, in the US Senate and on the Intel Committee, is pushing a unification of US-Israeli intel ties, and the corporate-fascist Big Tech connections the Trumpers and Israel already have (including their tied to Honduras and the ZEDE scheme) Here is more…

FREE SPEECH - ZIONISTA INFLUENCEWe did not get to discuss this Friday. From a true-freedom perspective, we oft hear critics of true liberty complain or worry that if there were no state, popular businesses would gain so much money and power that they would create de facto governments and control speech, or use their money to control or sway speech even within the market. Of course, we all know that big corporations (created as corporations thanks to government edict) try to sway public opinion, spending billions each year to entice folks to use their products rather than others. But even in the corporate world, only if they get further government aid via things like regulations against smaller startups, tariffs, or direct government support, can those corporations exist without pleasing customers. Otherwise, customers will be attracted to other options. And if corporations expend capital to suppress competition, that, eventually, harms their bottom line, and opens them to competition even more. Only the thuggish state can force people to pay it, and many thuggish states infuse their money into systems to manipulate communications in the private sphere.

We hope your weekend is going well! As we go to print, the net is abuzz with the word that US “Intelligence Threat Assessors” as the Pentagram see Israel as the top “critical” threat to the safety of US intelligence and secrecy. Obviously, this is laughably late, it’s obvious, and it might inspire more than a few observers to wonder why the information was spread NOW, as both the House and Senate push bills that would integrate US and Israeli military projects (the NDAA Sec 224 in the House) and US and Israeli Intel projects, in Section 622 of the “Intelligence Authorization Act”. This appears to be a signal from inside, perhaps from people who would like to offer more evidence of Israeli malfeasance, as a way to push back against these two (House and Senate) proposals. Likely, this leak will not change anything… Here is the link to start things off, and then, it’s off to the proverbial “races” as we dive into the other big news!

WARIRANIn this first week of June, alone, the US conducted “self-defense” strikes on Iranian radar sites and a facility on Qeshm Island near the Strait of Hormuz, plus an oil tanker. Iran responded with ballistic missiles and drones targeting US bases and facilities in Kuwait and Bahrain, claiming hits on US airbases and the Fifth Fleet headquarters. Most incoming projectiles were intercepted, with no major US casualties reported, but sirens sounded in Kuwait City and Bahrain condemned the “hostile” attacks. The UAE, Qatar, and others denounced the strikes. LINK And ANTIWAR notes that, although the US has engaged in kinetic strikes, Trump doesn’t consider this “fighting”. Headline “Report: Trump Tells Aides He May Restart Full-Scale Bombing Against Iran If US Troops Are Killed - News From Antiwar.com” LINK
While the Trump Admin postures and burns our tax cash, Iran has full operational control of the Strait of Hormuz
But what is one to make of this? We last month noted that Iranian exports were roughly the same as they were in the first quarter of 2025, but that, since the price of oil was higher, Iran made more money. We will research this in more detail for Monday

LEBANONThis is just one man offering this view, but, given the wholesale dismissal by the Lebanese government of the rights of Lebanese people south of the Litani River, and given the importance of Hezbollah in defending those people, this makes sense.

RUSSIA-UKRAINEThe war remains grinding. Ukraine conducted audacious strikes on St. Petersburg (June 3), targeting a navy base and oil terminal during Putin’s economic forum, prompting shelter-in-place orders. Russia launched large-scale missile/drone barrages on Ukraine, killing civilians in Kyiv region and Kherson. A June 5 prisoner swap exchanged 185 each. Putin rejected Zelenskyy’s open-letter proposal for face-to-face talks, calling it “rude” and insisting Russia will win. Oh, and that great UK hero for the Arms industry there, Kier Starmer, will meet with Zelinsky. How wonderful! LIN

IMMIGREATION POLICE STATEThe Trump administration’s anti-constitutional and immoral immigration enforcement has faced significant legal pushback and street-level resistance in recent weeks. On Friday June 5, U.S. District Judge John McConnell in Rhode Island blocked key Trump policies freezing work permits, green cards, citizenship applications, and other benefits for noncitizens from 39 countries targeted by travel bans. The 135-page ruling vacated the policies as arbitrary and unlawful, noting that applicants had followed rules but were targeted based on nationality. Hundreds of thousands of pending cases could now proceed. LINK
AND WE MISSED THIS AT THE END OF MAY! - The Supreme Court on May 26, reversed a lower-court decision and re-limited immigration judges’ free-speech lawsuit over restrictions on public statements and lectures. In an unsigned opinion, the justices criticized the Fourth Circuit’s handling and sent the case back to lower courts. Until that is adjudicated through each level of the courts, Trump will be able to place virtual gag orders on judges who might comment on US policy when they are outside of the court. Astounding. Scroll down in this link to find the story. LINK
And, I want to be certain that I bring back thoughts on Markwayne Mullen’s vile appearance on Cap Hill this last week… Recall - During a June 2 Senate Appropriations subcommittee hearing, Mullin repeatedly declined to commit to following court orders that conflict with administration policy. When pressed by Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT), Mullin stated the agency would “never break the Constitution” or the law but questioned court politicization: “If we didn’t think courts were politicized, then I would probably be able to answer that.” Murphy warned that Republicans and Democrats should be “really, really freaked out.” Mullin has also faced criticism over plans to potentially halt international flight processing at sanctuary-city airports (e.g., Newark, New York, Los Angeles) in response to local resistance. LINK
The US economy is flashing warning signs of slowdown amid high energy costs, softening consumer sentiment, and corporate caution. CEO confidence plunged to 47 in Q2 2026 (Conference Board survey), with 47% reporting conditions worse than six months prior and expecting further weakening. JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon warned of a “weakening” economy that could tip into recession, citing job growth at just 29,000 over three months (down from 105,000 previously) and unemployment edging to 4.3%. This, from Mario Nawfal, is a fascinating take on the US actions to provoke Iran into closing the Strait of H. Kinetic Strikes - Iran hits back - Iran’s navy stated it fired warning missiles and drones at U.S. warships in the Gulf of Oman. These were explicitly described as warning shots, not direct strikes on targets. No hits or damage were reported.
Since Wednesday, June 3, 2026, Iran has carried out limited missile and drone strikes in the Gulf (primarily targeting Kuwait and Bahrain), which were conducted in retaliation for a recent U.S. strike on a communications tower on Iran’s Qeshm Island.
Here’s what’s confirmed from reporting as of June 5:
Kuwait (Wednesday, June 3 / early this week): Iranian drones and/or missiles struck Kuwait International Airport and other sites in the country. One civilian was killed and dozens injured (reports cite 63 injuries in some accounts). Kuwait suspended commercial flights at the main airport after the hit. The U.S. military said it intercepted multiple Iranian drones targeting American forces there, with no U.S. casualties or damage to U.S. positions reported in some intercepts. Iran’s IRGC claimed responsibility, framing it as retaliation.
Bahrain (same timeframe): Iran launched missiles and drones toward U.S. military facilities (including the headquarters of the U.S. Navy’s 5th Fleet). Bahraini and U.S. forces intercepted and destroyed most or all of them; no confirmed impacts or casualties were reported on the ground.
Meanwhile, Trump had claimed Monday that the stock market would rise, thanks to his great skills w the morass he has created by attacking Iran. This did not happen, Mr. Trump.

NDAA SECTION 224First, on open mic, here is Bibi explaining the Israeli statist view of non Israelis
This is a good piece on it emerging from the committee and soon to be voted on by the whole House as part of the NDAA. Headline “Fusing the US Military and the IDF – Consortium News” LINK
SPECIAL INFO! — MORE - THE SENATE HAS AN “INTEL” BASED “224” BILL!
Hmmm… provisions in the Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2027 (S. 4615), which the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence advanced on a bipartisan basis on May 21, 2026 (reported out of committee on May 20) are… alarming.
These measures, particularly Section 622 (“United States-Israel intelligence sharing enhancement”) and a related section designating Israel as a “country of significant concern” for notification purposes, focus on expanding and protecting U.S.-Israeli intelligence integration, especially for corporate purchases, analytic partnerships, and technical integration while making it harder for future presidents to unilaterally reduce cooperation without formal justification and congressional notification.
Key Provisions - And remember, this, in nooooo way, breaches the US Constitution (wink).
Policy statement and expansion of sharing: The bill declares it U.S. policy to “maintain and strengthen the strategic security partnership with Israel” and to “enhance intelligence collaboration through robust intelligence sharing and analytic partnership.” It directs the President (via the Director of National Intelligence and, as needed, the Secretary of Defense) to expand intelligence sharing with Israel on threats including cybersecurity, terrorism, proliferation networks, sanctions evasion, terror financing, state/non-state aggressors, and missile/drone/domain awareness.
Limits on reducing cooperation: Intelligence sharing or support can only be suspended, reduced, or limited for a “specific and identifiable national security concern” (e.g., protection of sources and methods). Any such decision must be documented with a rationale, and the Director of National Intelligence must notify congressional intelligence committees within 15 days (or 48 hours in some related notification rules). The notification must detail the reasons, affected intelligence categories, duration, and impact on U.S./regional security.
Integration elements: The bill calls for progress toward “seamlessly integrating Israel into regional air and missile defense and early warning architectures with partner countries” and “increased integration of technological hardware, software, and systems among Israel, the U.S., and partner countries.” It also encourages extending certain enhancements to Abraham Accords countries for counterterrorism, cybersecurity, and missile defense cooperation.
Broader context in the bill: Israel is explicitly listed (alongside Ukraine and Taiwan) as a “country of significant concern” that triggers mandatory congressional notifications for any pause or downgrade in intelligence support. The overall bill refocuses U.S. intelligence agencies on core foreign intelligence missions, includes support for allies like Israel, and addresses other priorities such as countering China.
Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR), chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, introduced or led the inclusion of these Israel-specific provisions. The bill passed committee on a 15-2 bipartisan vote and awaits full Senate consideration. Proponents argue the U.S.-Israel intelligence partnership advances shared national interests against common threats (e.g., Iran, terrorism).
This builds on longstanding dark U.S.-Israeli intelligence ties (which date back decades and include US-Israeli assassinations of foreign diplomats, scientists, and political leaders) but codifies and expands them legislatively, with new reporting and integration requirements. Tom Cotton’s staff of Zionista maniacs behind the “Intel Agency - Israel - Integration” proposal have boasted about it- LINK - The bill has not been put up for a final vote, and details could evolve on the Senate floor or in conference with the House. For the full text, it is available on Congress.gov as S. 4615 (as reported).
And, please remember, the US and Israel already share lots of plans, and mix the Kool Aid for Maga with shared propagandists stirring the sticks.
This, from Mario Nawfal, is an excellent conversation about the NDAA Section 224 vote, and the US-Iran situation, now that it does look like Iran can get access to a nuclear weapon.
And this is a valuable graphic, after the vote in the House on 224.
LEBANONRemember, there not only was a purported “ceasefire” months ago, the US just announced an agreed “extension” of it… In fact The Trump Administration claimed that it brokered multiple extensions (or renewals/implementations) of the ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon since it was first established in April 2026. On May 15, 2026, the State Department announced a 45-day extension of the original April 16 truce after Washington talks… And… the most recent one occurred just two days ago (June 3), following high-level U.S.-mediated talks in Washington - talks that, of course, did not include Hezbollah, and assumed that Israel is a legitimate state, on their state-state level of thinking. So, yeah, on Wednesday, U.S. State Department issued a joint statement with Israel and Lebanon announcing agreement to implement a ceasefire (described in some coverage as a renewal or extension of the prior truce). YET…
And
This says a great deal about the cozy proxy-US govt in Lebanon. Just astounding.
