WAR
UKRAINE:
As we reported Friday, on Liberty Conspiracy Live, Trump’s push of Jared and Witkoff to “negotiate” is a reflection of Don’s neo-fascist-corporate-statist-favoritism mindset that he thinks can attract the Russians with promises of big corporate profits. It overlooks centuries of Russian tradition, history, religion, and familial ties that mean nothing to Trump’s cadre of vultures. - LINK
-RT reports on how the EU sabotaged (and continues to try to do so) a Ukraine peace plan. LINK
-The Ukrainians just used water-based drones to attack two civilian oil tankers. Utterly criminal. Here is info on one: LINK The first tanker was the Virat. It was flagged under Gambia, carrying a crew of 19 (nationalities unknown), and was en-route from Egypt to Russia’s Novorossiysk port, likely empty or partially loaded. Virat previously sailed under flags of Barbados, Comoros, Liberia, and Panama, and was under sanctions from the EU (January 2024), US, UK, Switzerland, and Canada for its role in the so-called “shadow fleet” of ships carrying resold Russian fuel (how EEEEVIL!!). The second tanker, Kairos (also Gambia-flagged), was similarly empty and headed to Novorossiysk; it carried 25 crew members.
VENEZUELA
It’s a wild moment in US history, among many wild times that are not necessarily good. In fact, in the last 18 hours, Donald Trump virtually, and unilaterally, declared a form of US “war” against Venezuela by mandating “AIR SPACE ABOVE VENEZUELA CLOSED” per his “Truth Social” statements and his unconstitutional militarism in the Caribbean. Here is AntiWar on the development. LINK Here is The GrayZone on the pardon of former Honduran Prez Juan Orlando Hernandez, who was supposed to be serving over 40 years for smuggling drugs (even though none of the US statutes prohibiting drug use or sale or possession is constitutional), a pardon that comes after Trump murdered nearly 100 people in the Caribbean and eastern Pacific: LINK
And here are numerous responses to Trump’s infinitely belligerent leap into madness. First, Justin Amash, who writes: “The president of the United States may not order offensive military action in or against Venezuela without congressional approval. Not the Constitution nor the War Powers Resolution nor past AUMFs authorize such hostilities. Any such orders are unconstitutional and unlawful.” NEXT, former Reagan Economic Advisor David Stockman: “Holy shit, Donald, there goes your Nobel Prize and also your excuse for not checking into a mental institution. This post is one of the stupidest things ever uttered by a US president and you’ve got more than two centuries worth of competitors for the honor.” Under the US CON-stitution, Congress MUST DECLARE WAR, or ISSUE LETTERS OF MARQUE AND REPRISAL. Stockman also writes: “Well, let’s see, Benny Boy (a reference to Trump-booster Benny Johnson, most likely). Closing the air space of another sovereign country is an act of war. Did the US Congress declare war on Venezuela per the US Constitution? So where in the hell did the Donald get the authority to start a war against of a bedraggled, woebegone country that has been utterly ruined by Socialism and therefore presents zero, nichts, nada, nugatory, nein and nyet threat to the Homeland Security of America?”
Now, the added dimensions…
NEXT, Max Blumenthal, of The GrayZone, who observes: “While waging a fake anti-drug war on Venezuela, Trump will pardon the convicted narco prez Juan Orlando Hernández, who trafficked 500+ tons of drugs into the US – mainly because he figures in Washington’s plot to manipulate Honduran elections.
Raul Pineda, a Honduran lawyer and analyst who worked in his country’s Council to Fight Drug Trafficking, explained to The Grazyone that Hernández’s main achievement was to ‘create a fourth estate of drug trafficking within the republican model of governance.’
Hernández ‘began to replace [the old narco kingpins] with institutional trafficking, where military personnel and police were used [for protection], along with the cover of prosecutors and judges…’ Pineda said. ‘He tried to replace narcos with elected military personnel, with police officers, with elected politicians accompanied by an entire structure of media, opinion leaders, and organized political groups.’
According to Pineda, Hernández transformed Honduras into a pivotal transit center for the drug trade: ‘He built six airports in a country of nine million inhabitants. And each airport, some of which have recently had three plane accidents in one year, had the sole function of being a logistical platform for drug trafficking. So instead of the plane landing on a dirt road, it landed on a paved runway and they paid for using it.’
Even though the US knew Hernández was a prolific drug trafficker, the DEA worked with him to provide the illusion of an anti-narcotics policy. ‘The DEA has very little credibility in the world of interdiction agencies,’ Pineda said. ‘After all, the DEA’s highest decoration was awarded to Manuel Noriega. And the head of the Southern Command repeatedly came to Honduras to praise the virtues of Don Juan Orlando Hernández.’”
Daniel McAdams notes: “Congress should be meeting now to pass a resolution confirming that the US President has no legal authority to take the nation to war without Congressional approval.”
Danny Haiphong writes: Trump “closes” Venezuela airspace over a fake drug war. But he isn’t president of Venezuela. Trump is pardoning former Honduran puppet Orlando Hernandez. Who smuggled 400 tons of cocaine into the US. It’s not about drugs. It’s about regime change from Venezuela to Honduras.”
MORE ON THE PARDON and POLITICAL TIES TO RUBIO. Francisco Rodriguez, a Senior Research Fellow with the Center for Economic Policy Research, writes: “Those puzzling over Trump’s announced pardon of Juan Orlando Hernández may wish to recall that:
- As president of Honduras, Hernández hired lobby firm BGR group for $660,000.
- Secretary Rubio has been one of the top recipients in campaign contributions from BGR group.” (…and he provides screenshots to document his claims.)
AND, not as if you might have needed a newspaper to tell you that Trump and his gang were engaging in extrajudicial murder, aka WAR CRIMES n’ INTERNATIONAL CRIMINALITY, but this report on Hegseth ordering “Kill ‘em all” kinda spells it out. -Let’s recall that Admiral Alvin Holsey resigned the day Hegseth engaged in this activity. LINK
Phil Err writes: “Under the laws of war, you never attack anyone who is hors de combat: shipwrecked, wounded, defenseless, or already in your power. Those two men clinging to the wreckage were exactly that. Ordering their death anyway crosses an even brighter line: the ban on no quarter - the absolute rule that you do not kill people who cannot fight back. Every commander knows this. Every officer is trained on it. These aren’t obscure legal theories. They’re the bedrock of lawful command. Yet the Secretary of Defense still gave the order: ‘kill everybody’ - after the first strike, after operators saw survivors in the water, after it was clear they posed no threat. A second missile was launched just to finish the job. Hegseth didn’t make a tough call. He made an unlawful one.”
Here is a US politician lying and applauding war crimes, a man who embraces fakery re drugs, and who shows no care for his vaunted “Constitution.” LINK

CIA-TRAINED MURDERER
Sabby Sabs has key thoughts on the fact that the alleged killer not only was trained by the CIA in Afghanistan, someone was googling him more than a month prior to him allegedly committing these crimes. LINK
-This attack coming shortly after a judge ruled that Trump cannot keep the Nat Guard in DC. Seems odd that this should happen and now provide an argument that the Nat Guard SHOULD be out in MORE force. LINK

THE US ECONOMY
-Trump is pumping the stat that tells us his admin hoovered up $33 BILLION last month via tariffs. That’s one month, atop the $340-350 BILLION the US already sucked up from April through September this year, via, yeah, you got it, Trump’s tariff taxes. All of that theft, that added cost for consumers, that redirection of consumer behavior and that favoritism for Trump friends — something is wrong with him. Many somethings. LINK As Justin Amash writes: “Yes, raising taxes on Americans may briefly result in higher tax revenues. People who understand economics have been saying that these tax increases are bad policy. MAGA, Inc., thinks a policy of high taxes on Americans is something to celebrate.”
-TARIFFS: After two fires at a NY State plant producing aluminum for its cars, Ford is in trouble… because TRUMP’s TARIFFS WILL NOT ALLOW FORD TO FIND ALTERNATIVES FOR REASONABLE, USEABLE, PRICES. LINK
-Remember when Trump said that HE knows a child doesn’t need more than one doll? His tariffs on dolls and imported games is estimated to cost $1.1 BILLION this year. LINK
-These retailers are trying to get out the word to tell people about how damaging are Trump’s tariff taxes. They cannot sustain their business at these price levels. LINK
-A major release from S&P tells us how expensive the Trump tariff taxes will be for international companies. We are talking a sucking sound of $1.2 TRILLION lost to Trump’s vampiric US tariff monster in 2025 ALONE. LINK Indeed, this recent S&P Global analysis estimates that President Trump’s expanded tariffs will impose approximately $1.2 trillion in additional costs on global businesses (including international corporations) for 2025 alone, primarily through higher supply chain expenses, logistics disruptions, and pass-through effects to consumers. This figure accounts for the broad application of tariffs averaging 18–27% on imports, acting as a de facto tax on multinational operations. ENERGY
-Recall that on November 19, the House voted to support a Senate proposal to open more oil drilling in Alaska and Wyoming. Why the US government has anything to do with any kind of oil or natural gas, or farm, or other venture inside a state, or any form of land that the feds claim to control? That’s mystifying to anyone who bothers to read the US Constitution. This merely changes the policy of the central planners.
