Though it might not resonate with all of you, as we prepare this Assembly, the DAMNED, the first British punk band to release a single (“NEW ROSE”), the first to release an album, (“Damned, Damned, Damned”) and the first to go on tour (they always thank Marc Bolan for asking them to accompany him on tour), yes, THE DAMNED, are playing Wembley Arena, in London for their 50th Anniversary! They are stronger than ever, with some of the best musicality of any rock bands ever to record or take the stage, and they are true, honest, good guys. The current lineup, Captain Sensible on guitar, Paul Gray on bass, Monty the Oxymoron on keys, Dave Vanian vocals, and the reunited Rat Scabies on drums represents a group of friends who now stand astride the music world like a colossus, yet they are humble men, just plying their craft, seemingly happiest to see the good people who enjoy their work and the fact that they can make music they love. I had a chance to attend the show, but had to forgo. That could be seen as disappointing, but, in a way, knowing that life hands you limitations sometimes is a very grounding thing, and makes me appreciate even more my friendship with the Captain, and acquaintance with Dave and Monty. By the way, Paul is a cancer survivor, many years on. He got treatment in a hospital in Wales, and while he was there, he met Bryn Merrick, also a one-time bass player of the Damned. Bryn, also, was undergoing treatment, and the two became good friends. Sadly, Bryn passed at the age of 56, but Paul survived, overcame debilitating tinnitus (thanks to special equipment that helps) and is back with the band and also offering services as a session bassist in the free time he might have when not touring or recording. Here is a sample of what it is like to see the band play, a pair of clips taken in 2024 in Boston, when I got to see them. The first song is Curtain Call, and we come in after it’s started (the recorded version is 20 minutes long and takes one side of a vinyl LP, and it’s amazing!) just recall these lyrics, if you ever get downhearted. This is a song about not giving up on life…

This isn’t the best audio quality, but as the band gets into the rip-roaring upping of the tempo, you can see the start of the mosh, getting it on!

And here, you will see Rat Scabies, one of the best drummers of all time, finishing his solo bridge between an earlier song and “New Rose”, and, again, the crowd erupts. Rat is 70, I believe.

And here is a full concert, a specially themed Halloween show they did a few years ago when Pinch was drumming (Pinch also is a great guy) and it was called “Night of A Thousand Vampires”. Dave V’s daughter appears near the close, playing violin. :) Great show!

-Yet, if one looks closely at Vance’s statement, one sees that it was not a “netogiation”, he gave Iran an ultimatum.

-At the same time we see that, Reuters and RT report that the US govt has agreed to expand on what Trump claimed was one of Obama’s big mistakes in the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), that being the RETURN of Iranian funds the US stole in the 1970s and had put in escrow in other national banks. Trump claimed it was a “bad deal” and MAGA maniacs have excoriated Obama for “paying Iran billions” - yet it’s Iranian money, and noooowwww, the Trump Admin is continuing and expanding on the Obama-era agreement. This was one of the prerequisites of any opening for negotiations that the Iranians demanded before they would engage JD and the Jets in Pakistan. THE GCC i.e. The Gulf Cooperation Council is hurting because of the Iranian response to the US aggression. In the past month (roughly March 2026, as of mid-April 2026 data), GCC exports of oil and natural gas have declined sharply—in many cases by 50–99%—due to the escalation of the US-Israel-Iran conflict. This caused the effective closure (or near-total disruption) of the Strait of Hormuz, the critical chokepoint through which most GCC oil and LNG exports normally flow (accounting for ~20% of global oil trade and a large share of LNG). LINK For example… Saudi Arabia crude exports down ~52%; Kuwait down ~72%. Iraq (not GCC but often grouped in regional data) saw even steeper drops. Overall Saudi crude exports for the full month of March were reported down 26% year-on-year to ~4.39 million bpd. LINK

As we discussed on Friday’s Liberty Conspiracy Live, consumer confidence is the lowest it has been since the measurement was created in the 1950s:

As the reality hits, some of us in libertarian circles have been discussing the poisonous mix of tariffs, regulations, fascist government arrangements, Trump blockages of Russian fuel imports, and mounting warfare and debt. The mix bringing about trouble for US businesses. Here is one of the sectors the populists oft say “tariffs will help”. Those populists either don’t understand basic economics (that, written not to deride, but simply as a descriptive, because awareness of the destructive nature of tariffs is part of basic economics classes), or they do, and the are trying to cater to special interests who don’t want the foreign competition.

Hmmm. How can this be?

And… Of COURSE Trump wants lower interest rates, but with GDP sinking, and the dollar sinking, he has to offer HIGHER rates of return for US long-term bonds, which, of course, raises the amount the US owes in the long term… And if the Federal Reserve buys the bonds, that increases the volume of money, ie it inflates the money supply, pushing up prices, causing malinvestments, and leading to a deeper crash/liquidation. What a mess.

Regardless of how one feels about this issue, the lesson is to stop forcing people to pay for an “education” system run by the polis. US Draft Registration…
I have seen some X posts reflecting confusion about the status of “automatic registration for Selective Service”. For the record, here is where things stand. Automatic Selective Service (draft) registration for eligible men is no longer under active legislative debate in Congress—it has already been enacted into what the statists call “law.”
In December, last year, Congress included a provision in the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2026 (e.g., S. 1071 and the final conference version) that amends the Military Selective Service Act to require automatic registration. President Donald Trump signed the NDAA into law on December 18, 2025. LINK
**Key Details of the Mandate Included in last year’s NDAA: LINK

• It shifts responsibility for registration from individual men (who currently must self-register within 30 days of turning 18) to the Selective Service System (SSS). The SSS automatically will register eligible individuals using data from other federal agencies/databases.

• Whom it affects: Male U.S. citizens and most male residents (immigrants/residents subject to registration requirements, generally ages 18–25/26). It does not apply to women or lawful non-immigrants on certain visas. Exemptions and contest processes remain available; registrants will receive notice.

• Timeline: The change takes effect one year after enactment (by December 18, 2026). The SSS submitted a proposed rule for the “roll-out” to the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs on March 30, 2026, which is currently under review. Some states/territories already use partial automatic registration (e.g., via DMV), but this is a nationwide federal system.

• Rationale: Lawmakers and the SSS cited cost savings (the agency costs ~$30 million/year), improved compliance, and streamlining. It does not reinstate the draft itself—that would require separate congressional and presidential action in a national emergency.

There is no ongoing congressional debate or new legislation on automatic registration—it passed with bipartisan support in the 2025 NDAA process and is now in the implementation phase. Recent news coverage (April 2026) focuses on the SSS’s proposed rule and upcoming rollout, not new bills. Some critics oppose it on privacy, anti-draft, or policy grounds, but the statute passed as part of the NDAA. LINK

In fact, Mark R (aka, Mr. “Starve Holland of Fuel and Fertilizer, and Kill Cattle”) flipped everything, blaming Iran, claiming Iran was intimately involved with supporting RUSSIA in the Russia-Ukraine conflict, even though Rutte now heads the org which expanded into former Iron Curtain nations and sparked much of the long-simmering Russian concern over western expansion. This is a bit low in volume, so our mighty team here has recorded it and will present a “Positive V” version tonight on Liberty Conspiracy LIVE at 6 on Rumble and X

This, also, reflects desperation (atop the classic Starmer perspiration). And this, too, is low vol, so we have recorded it and will amp up the vol on the show, tonight.

Translated properly, that should be, “US trying to shake-down Iran, while US aggression backfires and Iran holds firm on ten-point proposal”… JD Vance is on his way to star in another Lego-AI video, surely, and arrive in Islamabad, and he offered more bullying and gaslighting. He had the gall to talk about wanting the Iranians to negotiate “in good faith”, as if the US is the “good faith” party.

This morning, the Iranian govt issued information that its delegation would not renew talks unless two key points of what they THOUGHT Trump had accepted are secured. That also meant that the Strait would not be reopened, in a wide way.

With US attacks on energy imports, attacks brought by tariffs and outright blocks on fuel coming from Russia, is anyone surprised about this?

This low degree of “Consumer Confidence” not only reflects the sentiment of those surveyed (if one trusts the poll/survey), it warns people who recall history, because the survey results, THEMSELVES, tend to drive down future consumer confidence and investment.

And prices are rising, atop the money-printed price increases we’ve seen each year. This will inspire Trump to push harder for lower Fed rates, which, in turn will make it less attractive for people to purchase US long-term debt because that repayment will be in valueless bucks, which, of course, will push the US to offer higher rates of return for longer bonds, whiiiiiiich, of course will increase the debt the US has to pay — unless the Fed buys the bulk of the bonds.

Let’s recall this, from September, as McDonald’s CEO Chris Kempczinski described a “two-tier economy” in a CNBC interview, noting upper-income households over $100k are confident with strong stock markets while middle and lower-income consumers face pressure, cutting back on fast food with traffic down double digits. It has gotten worse, and soon, people with incomes over $100K per year will be very reluctant to invest in stocks. The burdens on US businesses (tariffs, energy, lack of interest from the world economy as its participants spiral into economic depression), will see those 100K-ers pull back their own spending and investment, leading to even more trouble for cash-strapped startups or other investment-seekers.

Pothole Pete tries to make a valid point here, which is that Trump actively is making prices higher, but his setup, about other Presidents (implying Biden) tried to make prices LOWER assumes that government subsidies and welfarism somehow reduce prices, which they do not, they increase demand and see more govt borrowing, causing more money-printing, inflating the currency and harming the buying power of the currency.

Consumer spending slowed more than anticipated (1.9% vs 2% in the second estimate), as purchases of both goods (0.3%) and services (2.7%) cooled. Fixed investment also increased less than expected (1.5% vs 1.6%), largely due to a sharp drop in structures (-6.5%) while investment in equipment (4.3%) and intellectual property products (5.4%) remained robust. Residential investment fell more than anticipated (-1.7% vs -0.5%). Exports declined 3.2%, compared to a 3.3% fall, marking the largest contraction since Q2 2023. Imports also fell slightly less than early estimated (-1.0% vs. -1.1%). Meanwhile, government spending and investment contracted sharply (-5.6% vs -5.8%), subtracting 0.99 pp from overall growth, due to the government shutdown. Yep… The third estimate of US Q4 2025 GDP growth at just 0.5% annualized, a steep drop from Q3’s strong 4.4% and successive downward revisions from the advance 1.4% and second 0.7% readings.

• Revisions reflect plummeting consumer spending, business investment, exports, and a sharp contraction in government spending tied to the Q4 shutdown, contributing to the weakest quarterly pace in recent years.

• The data release coincides with elevated oil prices near $99 and recent Middle East ceasefire developments, prompting discussions of pre-existing slowdown risks and potential stagflation signals in early 2026.

Let’s open with an extended quote from Press TV, a news resource based in Iran, and see the Ten-Point Plan that Trump and the Iranian government announced as the predicate for what some pop media folks call their “two-week ceasefire”. This is not a ceasefire. Iran’s govt has promised not to fire unless fired upon. Immediately, Israel broke that, which seems to be a pattern for US-tied proxies like Israel and Ukraine. US administrations show the pretense of coming to an “agreement” with an adversary, but the attached national US proxy (Ukraine, Israel) immediately breaks the agreement, as if the US has no control over it - thus making the ceasefire agreement moot, in many ways, and placing the agreeing party (Russia, Iran) in a very difficult position. Here is the report, from Press TV:
’Iran has declared a “historic and crushing defeat” of the United States and the Israeli regime after 40 days of war, announcing that Washington has been forced to accept a 10-point Iranian proposal that includes a permanent ceasefire, the lifting of all sanctions, and the withdrawal of US combat forces from the region. In a statement addressed to the “noble, great, and heroic nation of Iran,” the Supreme National Security Council said the enemy had suffered an undeniable defeat and now saw “no way forward but to submit to the will of the great nation of Iran and the honorable Axis of Resistance.”
The announcement comes on Day 40 of the US-Israeli war of aggression on Iran, which began with the assassination of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and top-ranking commanders on February 28.
According to the statement, the United States has agreed to a 10-point proposal that fundamentally commits Washington to:

• No new aggression against Iran

• Continued Iranian control over the Strait of Hormuz

• Acceptance of enrichment

• Removal of all primary sanctions

• Removal of all secondary sanctions

• Termination of all UN Security Council resolutions

• Termination of all Board of Governors resolutions

• Payment of compensation to Iran

• Withdrawal of US combat forces from the region

• Cessation of war on all fronts, including against the heroic Islamic Resistance of Lebanon

“Iran has achieved a great victory and has forced criminal America to accept its own 10-point proposal,” the statement read.
The statement by the top security body described the past 40 days as one of the “heaviest combined battles in history,” in which Iran and its allies in Lebanon, Iraq, Yemen, and occupied Palestine inflicted blows that “the historical memory of the world will never forget.”
“Iran and the Resistance have almost completely destroyed the American military machine in the region,” it stated. “They have inflicted crushing and deep blows on the vast infrastructure and capabilities that the enemy had built and deployed around the region over many years for this war against Iran.”
The statement added that within the occupied territories, Resistance forces had dealt “devastating and crushing blows to the enemy’s forces, infrastructure, facilities, and assets.” It further stated that the United States understood as early as 10 days into the war that it could not win. “Not only did none of the enemy’s main objectives materialize, but the enemy realized from about 10 days after the start of the war that it would have no ability to win this war,” the statement said. “For this reason, through various channels and methods, the enemy began efforts to establish contact with Iran and request a ceasefire.”

Annnnnd… Israel offered its belligerent response to the purported ceasefire - by directly attacking one of the key planks of the Iranian list for the agreement. Israel launched, on Beirut and other locales in Lebanon, 160 bombs in a single minute.

And JD Vance continues to sing statist songs containing foolish lyrics. He’s not a dumb person. He clearly thinks the people who hear him are stupid.

Larry Johnson and Judge Napolitano chatted today, digging into the details of the “agreement” and how it upset US Zionists like Mark Levin, then, they touched on Israel already breaking the ceasefire, and, of course, as RT noted in their noontime coverage, Israel (aka Is-unreal) openly defied the agreement by saying they would NOT stop attacking Lebanon. Today, the Israelis killed more than 200 people, without offering any warning as they sometimes do before they hit places in Lebanon. There also is a very large Christian Lebanese population there, which Mike Huckabee might find interesting.

Pepe Escobar joined Daniel Davis today, and their conversation revealed many details about the process and figures that led to the “pause” - forces set in Pakistan, tied to the pro-US government after the overthrow of elected Prez Imran Kahn. Note the witty opening from Pepe as he recalls the ancient honor of Persian culture.

And Scott Ritter offered very valuable insights into the impinging forces that could press against the US-Iran close-to-agreement. The Israeli claim that Lebanon is not part of any ceasefire is a big problem, and he adds that the UAE also needs to back off, and that the mosaic nature of the Iranian political units sees some units not as advanced on the ceasefire information. ALSO, some might be very WARY of standing down (my own thoughts, and, perhaps you have some you want to share - feel free to leave them here in our comments section!)

Yet, fully aware of the Israeli sabotage, and plans that the US would assist with more attacks on Iran, here are some of Trump’s social media posts this morning.

Here, in an excellent chat btwn Judge Napolitano and Phil Giraldi, is US Senator Ed Markey (D-MA) offering thoughts that make very good sense.

Headline: “Democrats introduce impeachment articles against Trump and Hegseth as nearly 100 lawmakers call for 25th Amendment” LINK Despite the colorful wording of the headline, not much is moving in the House when it comes to the impeachment articles we mentioned Monday and last night on Liberty Conspiracy LIVE. Headline: “Democrats introduce impeachment articles against Trump and Hegseth as nearly 100 lawmakers call for 25th Amendment” It actually is ONE Democrat. No, there are still no additional co-sponsors for H.Res. 1155 (the specific impeachment resolution introduced by Rep. John B. Larson (D-CT) on April 6, 2026). According to the official record on Congress.gov (updated as of April 8, 2026), Rep. Larson remains the sole sponsor. The resolution was referred to the House Judiciary Committee with no further action, and no other House members have added their names as co-sponsors.
No Senate members can co-sponsor a House resolution like this (co-sponsorship is chamber-specific), and there has been no Senate resolution or companion measure introduced tied to these articles. Regarding expressed support…

• For this specific resolution (H.Res. 1155): No other members of Congress (House or Senate) have publicly offered specific support or endorsement of Larson’s 13 articles in any recent coverage. It continues to be reported as a solo, long-shot effort by Larson.

• Broader calls for Trump’s removal (via impeachment or the 25th Amendment over the Iran situation): Yes, dozens of Democrats have spoken out in general terms. As of April 8, 2026, more than 70 Democratic lawmakers (including a handful of senators) have publicly called for Trump’s removal from office, citing his recent rhetoric and actions related to Iran. Examples include:

  • Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT)

  • Former Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA)

  • Rep. Jim McGovern (D-MA)

  • Rep. Lauren Underwood (D-IL)

  • Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), who has specifically referenced impeachment

These statements support removal in principle (often emphasizing the 25th Amendment) but are not tied to co-sponsoring or advancing Larson’s particular resolution.

And ONE member of Congress yesterday introduced Articles of Impeachment against him since he started this insane death march, sans Declaration of War, since starting his extrajudicial murders in the Caribbean and eastern Pacific and kidnapping Nicolas Maduro… Here is the situation:
Yesterday, April 6, Rep. John B. Larson (D-CT) introduced H.Res. 1155 (”Impeaching Donald J. Trump, President of the United States, for high crimes and misdemeanors”). It was referred to the House Judiciary Committee. The resolution was reportedly drafted with input from Ralph Nader and constitutional scholar Bruce Fein. No resolutions impeaching Trump were introduced in March 2026. (For context, Rep. Summer Lee introduced articles of impeachment against Attorney General Pam Bondi in mid-March, but that was not against the Prez.) Rep. Al Green (D-TX), a frequent sponsor of prior impeachment efforts, gave floor remarks on March 5, 2026, criticizing Trump and signaling a “countdown to impeachment,” but he did not file new articles then. For background, earlier impeachment resolutions against Trump in the 119th Congress (2025–2026) were introduced in 2025 only:

• H.Res. 353 (April 28, 2025) by Rep. Shri Thanedar (D-MI), with seven articles.

• H.Res. 415 (May 15, 2025) and H.Res. 537 (June 24, 2025) by Rep. Al Green.

  congress.gov

• H.Res. 939 (December 10, 2025) by Rep. Al Green (which was tabled after a House vote).

These earlier efforts did not result in a full impeachment vote proceeding to the Senate. As of April 7, 2026, H.Res. 1155 has not advanced beyond referral to committee, and broader Democratic leadership has generally not prioritized new impeachment pushes in the current Congress. You can check the latest status directly on Congress.gov (search for H.Res. 1155 or similar resolutions).

-Meanwhile, the Good Friday Abomination in the White House echoes through the week, with Franklin Graham’s Zionist comments and lies about the Iranians including the canard that Iranians are intent on killing Jews in hellish “atomic fire”.

-And at the UN, the Russian and Chinese delegations vetoed a resolution to “allow” military intervention in the Strait of Hormuz to open it. Considering the fact that Trump already is engaging US forces in aggressive attacks there, the UN resolution is symbolic, and, looking at it from the state-state POV, the Chinese and Russian reps were right to stand against the UN move. ’Iran has rejected President Trump’s ultimatums and presented their own conditions. They are not seeking a ceasefire. Instead, they want guarantees that the war will end permanently for Iran and its allies, that Israel withdraw from Lebanon, and that the U.S. lift all sanctions. They have also proposed a $2 million fee for passage through the Strait of Hormuz, framed as reparations for damage to their country. The U.S. is unlikely to accept this. President Trump said in his press conference that he ended President Obama’s Iran nuclear deal because it was bad for Israel.
