Gay Valimont is the Democrat candidate in the April 1st special election in Florida’s 1st Congressional District. She’s a gun violence prevention activist with a prior career in sports medicine. In 2012 she joined Moms Demand Action for Gunsense in America, rising from full-time grassroots activist to Florida State Lead.
