On this episode we speak to Hannah Storm, great name by the way, after she got in touch and said sh would love to com on the pod and share her journey.
Hannah says "I began my age group journey last year, racing in Townsville which was absolutely amazing, having only really learned to cycle properly a couple of years ago.
As a kid, I hated sport, so I certainly don't come from a traditional background like some folks do, but I took up running at university and then, after injuring myself training for a marathon in 2022, I got back on my bike because I knew my mental health needed it.
I'm a journalist by profession and have been fortunate to travel the world, but it's taken its toll, and now I work with newsrooms and other organisations to normalise conversations around wellbeing. I had a podcast myself for a while where we spoke with famous journalists about their mental health and the stories that had impacted them. In any case, if you are open to more guests speaking about their stories and mental health, I'd love to be on your podcast at some stage. It's my dream to inspire others to speak openly and also be a role model for women who may reach middle age and think they have lost sense of their own identity, and a role model to my kids too."
