Hello, Hive! How are you all doing? I hope this message finds you in good health and having a wonderful day.

I was looking through some old films from my time in Hong Kong, and I hope they are still worth showing here, even though I am already in the Philippines.

I am happy to still share my Hong Kong experiences with you all. I remember how marketing was so easy for me there, and today I will lead you through a visit to a big market in Hong Kong (after which I start preparing some fish).

Anyway, life felt so easy to navigate in Hong Kong. Everything moved with a certain rhythm and efficiency.

It's quite different from my life here in the Philippines, where it can be hard to get around. It's often challenging to find what you need. Public transportation doesn't work very well, and when you go to the market, there's always a lot of traffic. It's not simple to get back home early because of all the delays. You really need to plan ahead and leave very early to have any hope of avoiding the worst of it.

However, the good thing is that I plan to buy a small motorcycle soon so I won't have to depend on the inefficient public transportation anymore.

I am facing a new life now. I am a beginner again, and it is truly challenging for me. But I am holding onto the belief that everything will be alright! I am looking forward to the best.

Hello, Hive! How is everyone doing?

I am so glad to see you all again, and as always, I am incredibly grateful for your continuous support of my stories here in the Hive community. Sharing my life's routines and experiences with you all has become a cherished part of my journey.

For today's post, I filmed a glimpse of my first day back at my home sweet home. That's right: I am in the Philippines now, in my little mansion! Welcome, Pilipinas!

I still have to adapt to my new life, and it's not yet really comfortable at my place: every day there are workers here to repair everything... even the main door has to be replaced (a solid door really can't hurt, as I am living in a squatter area)!

Since I don't have any appliances yet—not even a fridge—I am relying on canned goods for the moment. So, here's a look at my easy canned tuna lunch for this rainy day!

Once I have appliances, especially a new fridge, I will be ready to start my food selling business and have you take part in the process of cooking and baking again.

Get ready for some serious chocolate temptation! A few days ago, I baked the most delicious, magical chocolate cake ever (hehe!) and filmed the entire process for you. It was also the last time I baked anything in Hong Kong before moving back to the Philippines.

Would it win a beauty contest? Maybe not. But was it amazingly moist, rich, and sooo chocolaty? Absolutely!

Hi Hive Family! Come and have a meal with me today!

Sometimes, the most delicious meals are the simplest. I used the fresh Malunggay (a leafy, very healthy vegetable) I bought in the shopping mall of World Wide yesterday to cook a warm Chicken Soup with Malunggay (Sinabawang Manok).

It didn't need many seasonings—only SALT was the main flavoring—but it was so tasty and brought back memories of home-cooked meals. I also added some onions, turmeric and lemon grass.

Here in Hong Kong, this simple bowl of soup is a true comfort for the heart and stomach.

A pro-tip: don't overcook the Malunggay! I add it at the very end to keep its vibrant green color and nutrients.

What a beautiful and blessed day here in Hong Kong! Join us as we celebrate the feast of the first Filipino saint, St. Lorenzo Ruiz, at the vibrant food bazaar in St. Joseph's Church. The energy was amazing, and the food was incredible!

But the adventure didn't stop there! We embarked on a mini-pilgrimage to two more beautiful churches: St. Francis of Assisi in Shek Kip Mei and St. Andrew's in Hang Hau (I wrote a little bit more about these two churches here). It was a day filled with faith, reflection, gratitude, and so much laughter.

We ended our perfect Sunday with a relaxing dinner in the park, sharing stories and food with good friends. It’s days like these that truly make being away from home a little easier. ❤️

Hello Hive family!

Before anything else, thank you so much for your kind and warm support on my previous film. I appreciate it a lot!

In today's video, I am happy to share my day with you during Typhoon Ragasa (being one of the strongest storms to form this year) here in Hong Kong. With nothing to do and everyone staying indoors, it's a day to wait out the storm.

The good thing about Hong Kong is how alert people are to any situation. It's common to see everyone buying food to store whenever a typhoon or any calamity is expected, and proactive measures by the city, such as the timely establishment of temporary shelters, help to safeguard the residents.

So for today, please enjoy watching my film and the pictures! I ended up eating a lot because it was a lazy, rainy day, and what better way to enjoy it than with good food? But at least I also did some gym and cardio, just see yourself, hehe!

Unfortunately, however, the plants on the balcony suffered from the storm!

I am back again, filming myself to share with the world. Yes, share with the world!

Today, I am making a chocolate cake for a birthday celebration. I also just really missed this kind of baking. I love being in the kitchen, and it's been such a long time since I last baked a cake—I think it's been about a year since I made one myself!

Apart from the yummy cake, I am also preparing the following dishes in my video:

- My own version of Biko, a Filipino rice cake containing coconut milk and brown sugar.

- Another batch of Puto Cheese, a Filipino steamed rice cake, traditionally made from slightly fermented rice dough (galapong), because we had a repeat order!

- Last but not least, I am cooking our famous Adobong Manok, which was also ordered.

Hello, Hive kitchen mates!! In this video, I will take on the ultimate kitchen challenge: cooking two iconic Filipino dishes AT THE SAME TIME!

On the one side, we have the sweet and fluffy Puto Cheese (a Filipino steamed rice cake, traditionally made from slightly fermented rice dough (galapong) that's available for ordering!

And on the other side, the comforting and deliciously sour Sinigang (a Filipino soup) for dinner!

## SINIGANG RECIPE INGREDIENTS:

- Pork ribs / pork belly or what I used this time: PATA NANG BABOY (pork knuckle)

- Pork broth cube (optional), I only used salt for additional taste.

- Tomatoes, onions

- Gabi (taro root) for thickness

- Sitaw, Kangkong (two of the most common and beloved vegetables in Filipino cuisine)

- Sinigang mix
