Welcome to Jameson’s directorial debut as he and Heather recast the top ten Star Wars characters with badass ladies. Not too surprising, the only actress Heather and Jameson had in common was the legendary Betty White. Heather consults Jameson on bougie travel in Africa and Jameson skips Top Five for "Islands in the Stream". Lastly, Heather explains why only monsters end seasons on episode nineteen, so next week is the last episode.

Jameson and Heather are again joined by special guest and friend of the podcast Hallie as they discuss the best bits of any and all Star Wars movies: the women and the droids. They lament over the lack of women in the films, decide Dot Matrix deserves discussion, and agree that Leia, Rey, L3, R2D2 and C3PO are the bestest. This episode can also be titled “Five Minutes of Star Wars and Everything Else”, as Heather, Jameson and Hallie discuss everything from Dengue fever to Jameson’s distaste for handling meat products to Heather’s hate of Ren Faires to eggplant plants.

Jameson and Heather take a break from Star Wars to celebrate pride with guest star extraordinaire and self-proclaimed millennial, Eddie. This surprisingly educational episode dives into the history of pride and the gay rights movement, discusses virtual and in-person 2020 pride events, and suggestions of different LGBTQ+ organization you can support by volunteering or through donation (see links in description). It’s a lawless time at Gen X Guide to the Universe. Heather and Jameson finish up all the Star Wars movies this week with Solo! Jameson finally understands the Kessel run and declares Solo his favorite Star Wars movie. Both Heather and Jameson agree L3 is the funniest, sassiest, feminist droid who clearly was at Lilith Fair in the 1990s. Superfan and friend of the podcast Julie takes a break from a dance class to stop by and give her review of Rogue One. Spoiler: too long, too many people, not enough C3PO, thumbs down. Note: No Julies were not actually bullied prior to or during this episode.

With the nine episodes done, Heather and Jameson talk about Rogue One, a Star Wars story. One enthusiastic thumb up for Heather, one grumpy, disgruntled thumb down for Jameson. Caroline the dog interrupts the podcast, as Heather and Jameson beg for BarkBox sponsorship. Jameson airs a plethora of grievances: from chipmunks to Amazon Prime bass, from arugula to everyone dying on the beach. Jameson finally finished Star Wars! Join Heather and Jameson as they discuss the Rise of Skywalker. Heather airs her feminist grievances (where is Rose? Why is Rey just picking up rocks? Why is Poe made general?), Jameson is not impressed by the Final Order conference chairs, and both agree the intergalactic Burning Man is not for them. Heather will miss her fat bearded pilot, RIP Snap Wexley. Heather and Jameson reflect on their high school years in the mid to late 1990s, deliver a viral sensation-ready commencement speech to graduating Gen Zers, and offer sound life advice to sweet baby Heather and Jameson circa 1994 and 1997. Congrats to all the graduates of 2020, here's a breath mint.

Heather and Jameson are moving through these movies at light speed. Grab some blue milk and settle in as they break down episode 8, The Last Jedi. Not their favorite film in the canon but Heather appreciates Walmart Vader’s shirtless mom jeans look and Jameson is excited to see one of his hall pass celebs. Heather wonders why those jedi texts aren't on Kindle and Jameson has now set his expectations very low for the final movie, The Rise of Skywalker.
