The U.S. Space Force is the first new branch of the armed services since 1947, and recently reframed its guiding mission to Secure our Nation’s interests in, from, and to space. 

General B. Chance Saltzman, Chief of Space Operations recently sat down with Dr. Stacie Pettyjohn, Senior Fellow and Director of the CNAS Defense Program, to discuss the service's early successes and remaining challenges.

The conversation covered topics such as Space Force's innovative personnel solutions, ambitious acquisition targets, and efforts to improve the resiliency of America's space assets.
