A General Hospital LEAK indicates Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) is set to exit the show in the most dramatic fashion. Leaked footage hints at a fiery fate for Michael. Duell's departure was self-initiated, with the actor wanting to spend more time with his family. Despite his exit, Michael's character will not be recast, leaving the door open for a potential return. The plot unfolds with a bomb blast intended for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) which injures Michael instead. 

GH spoilers for the episodes airing on January 6th and 7th 2025 hint at the tragic incident. The leaked promo video confirms the fiery fate of Michael. This shocking act of violence disrupts Michael's attempts to fight against the affair of Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) and Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), tearing his family apart.
