General Hospital fans are on the edge of their seats as Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) knocks on death's door. The ABC soap is keeping viewers in suspense, with spoilers suggesting a possible tragic end or a fate worse than death for Michael. In the wake of the firebombing at Sonny Corinthos' (Maurice Benard) penthouse, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) rushes to save a badly burned Michael. 

GH spoilers see Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), Michael's wife, is caught in a compromising situation with Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison), sparking outrage among fans. As Michael is rushed to the hospital with third-degree burns, his condition is critical, leaving his family and viewers to question his chances of survival. 

General Hospital actor Chad Duell has hinted at an open-ended exit for his character, leaving room for a possible return. As Michael fights for his life, his family is thrown into turmoil, with Carly Corinthos Spencer (Laura Wright) blaming her husband Sonny for the mob hit that led to Michael's critical condition. Willow assumes control of Michael's medical decisions, potentially creating more tension with the Corinthos family.
