In this episode, Elena Melchert talks with George Koperna, VP of Advanced Resources International, about the status of CCUS. Mr. Koperna is a Petroleum Engineer who became familiar with CO2 injection in the 1990s as the method was being used in Enhanced Gas Recovery. He now works with government researchers and commercial entities to find best ways to capture and store CO2. In the podcast, he provides the history of CCUS, the current demand for CO2 storage and some challenges encountered in CO2 storage.
