On today's episode, Jason gets things started by sharing his thoughts on the Georgia Bulldogs' demolition of the TCU Horned Frogs in the College Football Playoff Championship Game. This one got so ugly in the first few minutes it had our fearless leader channel surfing for old movies in the third quarter. The only real question to come out of this one is what's next for Georgia quarterback Stetson Bennett. Bennett lacks the prototypical skills and measurables of an NFL quarterback, but as Jason notes a lot of a player's success ultimately depends on the situation he gets drafted into. If Bennett can get scooped up by a forward-thinking offensive mind, he can absolutely have a long career in the NFL. Later, J-Mac does a deep dive into the Arizona Cardinals following their surprising dismissal of head coach Kliff Kingsbury. Outside of Kyler Murray (who has a prickly personality and is coming off a devastating knee injury himself), the cupboard is pretty much bare in Arizona. In fact, Jason argues that it's easily one of the worst head coaching vacancies available right now. Finally, Jason goes off the deep end by explaining how the Los Angeles Rams should use Sean McVay's impending 'semi-retirement' to tear their roster down to the studs are start trading away stars like Matthew Stafford, Aaron Donald, Cooper Kupp and Jalen Ramsey. Trust us, the idea sounds crazy on it's face until you hear him lay it out.
