You have your sales goal now let's figure out how we are going to meet that goal.
I want you to look at the packages that you offer in your business. Even if you are just working with the average prices of your low, medium and high offers, whether they be packages, products or services.
Then start to play around and calculate how many of these would you need to sell in order to meet your sales goal?
Step back & ask:
R: Is this realistic? Would you be able to make these sales within the time frame you're looking at?
A: Average dollar per hour? Are you comfortable with the average amount you're earning in an hour?
V: Value reflect your expertise & experience? Gut check? Does it feel like a fair and clean exchange for your level of expertise?
E: Equivalent to competition? How to your prices compare to others in your industry?

Have you ever felt like you want to invest in your business but aren't sure where the money will come from? Today I'm teaching you how to prioritize and qualify your wish list, align it with your sales goals and make sure your investments don't mess with your take-home pay.
We love lists and organization, but we don't always feel warm and fuzzy around the idea of a budget. So, from now on we'll refer to our budget as our "business wish list."
Think of everything you'd love to invest in: new software, a VA, branding photos, courses, coaching, office space, upgraded equipment, etc. We're just brainstorming here so feel free to think big.
Once you have your business wish list, prioritize the ideas that will generate revenue, save you time, and move you forward professionally.
I hope you accept my challenge to organize your business wish list. DM or tag me on Instagram with your ideas!

Do your business costs feel as sneaky as your toddler? It's easy to feel like you're just reacting to things that come up but knowing your true business costs is essential for smart financial decisions.
Understanding your costs is key. The impacts of not knowing your expenses are stress, cash flow issues and pricing problems. Understanding costs helps you set realistic goals, avoid suprise expenses and feel confient about your financial decisions.
What to Track:
Step 1: List out all your monthly expenses (Examples: software subscriptions, website hosting, marketing tools, office rent, internet, insurance, payroll, etc.).
Step 2: List out annual expenses (Examples: domain renewals, business licenses, tax prep, professional memberships, yearly software renewals).
Step 3: Don't forget variable expensesâadvertising, professional development, occasional tools.
Tip: Go through your bank statements and QuickBooks reports to catch anything you may overlook.
How to Make Your Costs Work FOR you:
Categorizing expenses: essential vs. nice-to-have.
Cutting unnecessary costs or finding alternatives.
Planning ahead for annual chargesâsetting aside money each month.
Knowing yoru costs is one thing, but how do you turn that into a solid income goal? That's exactly what I walk you through inside Take Home Target. New year, new you! (Even for your business.) I've recently been inspired by Mara Kucerik and her transparency about her business spending. Today I'm sharing with you my really intentional spending plan for Q1, how I chose the ways I want to spend on my business, and how I saved for them.
I love to get all of my thoughts down on paper. I make a list of everything I want to buy and I research the average cost.
Here are the ways I'm investing in my business in 4 ways in Q1:
I'm so excited. I knew exactly how much I would need to save up for the investments I wanted to make this quarter and made sure was ready.
Bottom line, having a list helps. I knew the goal amount of money I should be saving for and it felt fantastic.
I would love to hear from you what you're investing in this quarter?

Nonprofits receive income through grants and donations as opposed to sales, so and these need to be tracked different.
Nonprofits have to maintain exceptionally accurate records to answer to their donors and maybe even their board of directors.
Donors sometimes specify how they want their donation to be used. This is called a restricted donation. So good systems are even more important here on the nonprofit side of things.
QuickBooks is still the tool I'd recommend for your bookkeeping, but you'll also need to use a donor management system.

Let me give you a quick update on BOI Reporting. Just this week there have been some developments in the news and it appears that fines will not be issued for not completing BOI reports. I'll keep you posted as new information is released.
OK today I'm sharing the most important money lessons I learned this year:
Lesson 1: Don't Be Pressured into Making a Buying Decision
Lesson 2: Don't Buy Something Just Because It's on Sale
Lesson 3: Always Embrace Delayed Gratification. Purchases that you make for your business will have a bigger impact if you're primed to appreciate them!
Lesson 4: I Spend Too Much. Notice where your overspending happens.
Lesson 5: Don't Be Tight-Fisted About Money. Being generous in your business feels really good. So, just like with spending, remember moderation is key with saving and giving as well!

By January 1st 2025 businesses need to submit their Beneficial Ownership Information in the form of a BOI report.
This is part of an anti-money laundering effort by the Federal Crime Enforcement Network (FinCEN).
Listen in to hear how this applies to you and whether you need to submit a BOI for your business. Basically businesses that are sole proprietorships do not need to file a BOI and businesses that are LLCs or S-corporations do need to file a BOI.
Businesses that don't comply by January 1st 2025 are potentially subject to penalties.
You'll need to provide the name, address, date of birth, and social security number or other identification of those with beneficial ownership of your business.
Check to see if you need to comply with BOI requirements and seek professional guidance if you're still not sure https://fincen.gov/.
