Julene Barrett is a mother of 5 and the matriarch of a big baseball fan family. She shares her memories of her father, Philip Ostergard, and her uncle Francis Ostergard. Both of the Ostergard brothers dedicated their lives to Kare Youth League and bringing children the word of God. Julene will also talk about her experience in Rio Hondo Prep and some stories about her classmates. The Barrett family is all about the Atlanta Braves and Julene will offer some insight on just how far the passion goes.

Ken Allan had a career of over 40 years as a sports broadcaster for the American Forces Network. He has also made great contributions to high school and college baseball umpiring. Ken umpired at the college level and was later an Oberserver in the Big West Conference. In addition, he has been a member of the National High School Rules Committee and the California State Rules Interpretator for high school baseball. Ken has lots of stories from meeting many legendary broadcasters and traveling all over to be part of the world of sports.

Craig Clingman was a member of the 1977 CIF Championship football team at Rio Hondo Prep. He will share his experiences and the lessons learned through sports. Alongside being a school teacher these days in Special Education, Craig is also a sports official and an avid surfer. Although we went to high school 25 years apart, it feels as if Craig and I would have been the best of teammates.
