Mother's Day weekend included some amazing moments in sports. Before those topics, I tell a few memorable stories about celebrating with my Mom over the years. The Kentucky Derby was won by Rich Strike, the biggest longshot in the race's history at 80-1! Another shocking upset was Dmitry Bivol defeating boxing legend Canelo Alvarez at the Light Heavyweight division Saturday night. The LA Kings evened up their playoff series and the Rio Hondo Prep baseball team lost in the first round. RHP softball has a huge 2nd round playoff game at home this Tuesday afternoon that requires a large supportive attendance. In the bottom of the 9th, I share some different slang terms for very close plays on the bases and debunk a term that far too many baseball fans overuse.

  • Happy Holidays
Happy Easter! I share a few quotes from the weekend that really made me laugh and admit to falling into temptation albeit during the holiest of days. Today I provide answers to some questions going through my own head. Does achievement mean anything without struggle? Why is the Left so terrified of Elon Musk buying Twitter? Are Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray the same guy? Do two holidays that have nothing in common actually have one big thing in common? Is minor league football better than the NBA Playoffs? In our 9th inning segment, I go over the Hit By Pitch rule in baseball and why it is so controversial in the college game. As promised, we end by defining a trio of baseball slang terms.
