This year's March Madness was one for the books and has us craving for more next season. I react to an incredible Final Four weekend and also pay tribute to two great student athletes from Rio Hondo Prep. Joe Demers offers a unique perspective of both Kare Youth League and Rio Hondo Prep as someone who did not attend either but became affiliated with both when he married coach/alum Ginger Lunney. Joe grew up in Sacramento and worked as a Structural Engineer before marrying into not only a great family but also a giving organization that has done so much for children. Joe and I chat about his insight of KYL/RHP as well as a lot of baseball with the MLB season right around the corner.

The Final Four is set after an incredible couple of weekends in March Madness. There was a big slap in the face at the Oscar's on Sunday night and it wasn't someone getting snubbed. How have we become so soft as a society? I have some completely random topics today that include learning how to broil, being tipped in quarters, and a list of the very diverse group of people I listen to daily. I close the episode with possible unpopular opinions regarding equity in sports coverage.

Ken Lee recently retired as a Police Officer in Southern California and moved to the great state of Idaho. He is now the Digital Marketer and Social Media Manager for a company called Go Idaho. Ken fills us in on his reasons for the move and what his experience has been like the first few months. He also discusses his ongoing YouTube content and the great new projects he has in store that everyone needs to explore. Ken offers up some amazing reasons to move to Idaho that we all might want to consider for our future.

After watching most of the 48 basketball games from the NCAA Tournament over 4 days, I react with a few observations. Why do officials use a few mechanics I dislike and how can you not cheer for a team named the Peacocks? Additionally, a commercial about equity set me off over the weekend and ESPN continues to be about everything except sports. After recently finishing a documentary on Abraham Lincoln, I share my thoughts on the Civil War and an incredible battle that we need to know more about.

Courtney Fraize is a Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. She works directly with infants who were born early and has found great fulfillment in this field. Courtney is also a 2006 graduate of Rio Hondo Prep and played in the CIF Basketball Final her senior season. She was a consistent scorer and contributor to a team that finished as Runner Up. Courtney (Gagnon) Fraize chats about her high school memories at RHP and how the lessons learned at an early age helped shape her path later down the road. She recently moved to Idaho from California with her husband Jeremy and their two children. Courtney shares her reasons for the change of scenery and what it's like working in a hospital every day.

March Madness is here and my alma mater Cal State Fullerton is going dancing! Tom Brady has come out of retirement and Naomi Osaka continues to be a bad example for young future competitors. I give my two cents on the new rules in MLB and how their purpose is conflicting. Some of the random thoughts that popped into my head the past week include how to save a bad cooked meal, differences in men and women, and having good reasons for making decisions.

Fred Monteblanco makes a return to the podcast after over a year and a half. We discuss a wide variety of topics ranging from gas prices to foreign policy to voting patterns. I invite Fred to share why he is so active on social media and where his passion to speak out comes from. We also chat about a few sports topics that include LA football and UFC. My buddy Fred has been in the transportation industry for a long time and is someone who never holds back his opinions.

After a few weeks off, the podcast is back as I reflect on all the news around America and the world. I rant about admitting when we're wrong, the soaring gas prices, and why I continue to be frustrated with dogs. The Los Angeles Rams have won Super Bowl 56 and are World Champions! It has been quite a ride for me as a lifelong fan with so many ups and downs. I cannot express enough what this title means to my family and I. It was a game filled with drama and so many different emotions. To win the Super Bowl in the City of Angels after returning home in 2016 is a surreal feeling. My heart is full and as far as sports viewing down the road, I can't think of it getting any better than this. Pop the champagne one more time for LA's first professional sports team winning their first Super Bowl in Los Angeles and their fourth World Championship! Celebrate responsibly and Get Home Safe!
