In this episode I want to inspire you to give back. I’m so so honoured to be on the advisory board of such a powerful movement.

I have to say this week has truly changed my life. This week showed me the true power of human connection. I thought I understood it- but I was wrong. This experience was the best trip of my life hands-down and I truly hope you seeing this today will help inspire you to look into how you can help communities who need us all over the world 🙏🏼

I realized that just because we are born into privilege it shouldn’t mean that we turn a blind eye to what is actually going on in the world and the lack of basic necessities and education that so many don’t have 😢

I deeply feel I’ve added a whole new level of purpose to my life with knowing and seeing for myself what and who I’ve been giving to.

The most transformative part of being here was seeing the pure joy of the children who get to attend the schools built by @pencilsofpromise and see the families who benefit from all the programs & facilities created by POP and the communities that have been positively impacted by all the work that these freedom fighters are doing across 600 schools.

It was so inspiring for me to be in the classrooms with these beautiful children and to host a workshop with the teachers on menstrual hygiene for the children (which is also another 1 of the programs the charity has put in place so that young girls don’t have to miss school for a week at a time when they get their periods). It was such an eye-opener to see and feel how the other side live 😭😭 I’m emotional writing this right now and have been overwhelmed with feelings of happiness, love and sorrow whilst being here.
