Fun for the family to read together

I love reading this to my little one. We laugh at the things we do together and she resembles the oldest charactor so she keeps pointing to her saying "Me!". I really like the bright vivid colors and the way the family interacts with each other. My child loves to point out all the characters and really be a part of the story. We have started doing more picnics on Saturdays too!

On a personal note: I love the dedication the author writes to her grandmother (very touching). I know she does a lot of volunteer work at local schools in her area so I appreciate that she really does care about kids.

Needs some editing

Cute story that my 4-year old enjoyed, but there were several spelling and grammar errors, especially at the end, that threw me off as the reader.

Cute story - we're waiting to read more adventures

My children were hesitant when I started reading the story, but they soon left what they were doing to snuggle up with me and see the photographs of these nifty little stuffed animals. I loved the detail and personality given, the talk about how the animals move. More pictures would be nice, but we're waiting impatiently for their next adventures.

Fabulous short story for kids (and adults)

I very much enjoyed reading this book and am looking forward to Monkey Dog's next adventure. Would definitely recommend to others!

Love , Friendship, and Acceptance!

Loved, Loved Loved reading it for MYSELF and can't wait to share this book along with all my grandchildren. It definitely opens your imagination leaves you wondering whats next on the horizon for Lamby and his group of "misfit" friends. Lamby helps kids understand that it's okay to be different, and believing in yourself and caring about others and showing compassion, despite their differences is very important. What a wonderful lesson to teach our children and grandchildren, especially in the harsh realities of today's world. The BEST part is, every purchase helps support Love & Fleece whose mission is to donate a plush toy to a child in need for every toy purchased. I am thankful for the three fleece Lamby Pants I have been generously given by Dean. I am saving 2 for my upcoming twin grandsons and 1 for my grandson Aiden who is a year and a half. Being Different

Loved this book! Reading it out loud made me laugh along with my Grandchildren - this unique story is like no other - the giggles also became knowing quiet nods on the care we take for those who are a little different, who are family or friends and bring a smile because of their differences. I have also had the songs of Lamby danced and sung by our Grandchildren and we all could hear (or at least we tried to emulate) Lamby's very cute funny voice as we read his stories. We all have enjoyed Lamby and his adventures and look forward to many more! ONE more thing...when you buy a book, or toy by Byron ONE is given as a donation to children at risk. I volunteer at a child advocacy center and have seen Lamby toys give joy to a child who is in recovery from a traumatic experience gain strength from Lamby who also had a traumatic injury but Lamby gained strength from this and they will too.

Share It With the Kids, See Who Giggles First

Michael J. Delaney's sequel to "Pinch and Dash Make Soup" is very, very entertaining; hold back, don't point out to much to the kids you're reading it to, ask them instead to find the wonderful silliness themselves. The ending is marvelously funny. A great read-it-together book for ages four to six or seven and their older reading partners.

In this second Pinch and Dash story, Pinch finds himself in trouble when his Aunt Hasty sends a pair of ruthless movers to deliver a terrible couch for Pinch to babysit. Pinch's blue living room is lovely and snug and just right for him, but has no room for a couch, especially not a huge one with daring dashes of red. When Dash comes over he falls in love with the couch and then falls asleep on it. And Pinch knows just what to do! Pinch and Dash are a delightful duo, perfect for new readers to try their skills and for older readers to indulge their humor and wordplay. The illustrations are saturated with color and filled with satisfying details and different perspective. All around, this is an excellent, excellent book!
