Members Reviews:
So many reviews, so little good to read about in the book.
First of all, I want to say that I am a published author. I like to read other newbie writers work to see at what level in their career that they might be. Iâve read most of the reviews written about this book, and the consensus was pretty close to what I was thinking. Iâve pulled some bits and pieces from a few of the reviews and paraphrased them to coincide with my own perspective of this literary piece.
âThis book is full of typos and grammatical errors. There wasnât a clear cut story line and, the ending was, just there; really was no ending. The book just stopped. Don't waste your time or money on this.â
âNot only does the story jump all over the place, but the sub-plots are a little confused and get muddled. The story doesnât feel consistent and it makes it difficult to keep a hold of the plot-line. There are bits that are written with real skill and do show the potential of the author, but they are just âbits.â Itâs a shame because I kept reading only to see what on earth would happen next.â
âAnother glaring issue was the tense changes, and within the same paragraphs, there were multiple POVâs.â
âI hate having to deal with grammatical errors and out of sequence events that have me flipping back and forth trying to make sense of what was actually happening.â
âThere were a few places when the author had incorrect names of some of the designers, and even incorrect character names.â
âThe book was a hard read for me. In my opinion, it's not worth it. I can not recommend it.â
âI'm sorryâ It is the sloppiest writing, I have ever seen. It is obviously poorly edited and has not been proof read.â
âThe gaps between scenes without explanation, had me sometimes, scratching my head. The chapters were full of typos - the tense constantly changed from third person to first person.â
And finally, the best in the litter was, âWho writes a book that leaves so many things unfinished, without an ending, just so you will buy the next one! I realize that there is a sequel, but at least, bring this book to an understandable finishes.â
I, myself, wrote a series of stand alone stories, under the main title of âThe Mia Perez story.â Each book was written with a beginning, middle and ending in mind. But, the stories connected with each other in a way as to build a complete story when the series ended.
To sum up my review, although entertaining at times, this was probably one of the worst books I've ever read. There wasnât any resolution, and thatâs an important part of any book.
