Ok - good

It was a good book and kept you wondering who done it. I read it on my Kindle so you couldn't cheat to read the back page to discover who did it. Don't want to miss the suspense.

Undercover Memories

As with other books, Alice Sharpe delivers an action packed convoluted readers dream. This is one of those "can't put it down" books that you can't wait to learn the outcome but dread having it end.

The Legacy is a great series...

Very good writer. Enjoyed this book as well as both the sequels in the Legacy series. Well worth the read.

Enjoyed the book, would recommend, little hokey in parts but did not go off on a tangent (which irritates me).

The first story is really good. Shape shifters, medical testing, visual impairment, forbidden love, what more could you want?! I enjoyed it and was somewhat excited to find that part 2 was another book. But let me tell you that book 2 has nothing to do with book 1. Book 2 would have been graded with 2 stars. It was long and boring and i literally slapped my forehead at one point. I would consider this a meh purchase, not a book i would reread.

Incredibly Powerful and Moving

Don't let the cover fool you, Fault Lines is not a romance.

This is Sarah's story, of abuse, survival, being consumed in shame and "what ifs", and ultimately moving forward. It was powerful and beautiful, and RRM handles the subject matter with refreshing honesty, care, and insight. It's also a very sexy story.

Joe and Sarah make a brief appearance in Tanya, so fans of The Bridge and Fault Lines should check that one out.

I've said it before...very few writers can craft the perfect novella like Rebecca Rogers Maher.

Fault Lines

Well written, thought provoking story by an obviously gifted writer. I have known the author for many years and am thrilled and proud to see the avenue she has pursued . I look forward to reading more of her work, confident of her continued success. Kudos to Rebecca Rogers Maher !

****This book deals with sexual abuse of a minor and how that abuse has affected the abusee years later.****

Before I start, I need to point out this book isn't your typical romance. The main character, Sarah, has serious issues.

This is the first story I've read by Rebecca Rogers Maher. In fact, before this book, I've never heard of her. I went to her website and looked her up. I will say that it was quite a treat to find an author who made a conscience decision to write about real people in real situations.

I'm going to do what I don't like to do with reviews and actually tell you what happened with the book. I generally HATE giving away too much about a book, because then why would you buy it.

Like most victims of sexual abuse, Sarah knew her abuser. She was even very close to him and loved him with all her heart. The abuse occurred when Sarah was fourteen. She feels that she was old enough to have said no and thus feels in some ways she encouraged it and that it was fine. She finds relief from her demons by cutting herself. Throughout the book Sarah is a nurturer and protector. She protects her abuser by making excuses for him and she protects her mother by not telling her about the abuse and talking about her feelings for all of these years, and talking about all the sacrifices her mother made for her and feeling she has to be with her mother, when she's going through a horrible loss.

One of my favorite Harlequin stories!!!!

I love this story. I first read it last year after checking it out in the library. I âaccidentlyâ purchased it on my Kindle this year and I am not complaining. This story is about a young woman named Daisy Donohue and a financial whiz kid billionaire named Ethan Cartwright. Daisy is strong, female lead who is working for an obnoxious PR woman Lynda Twiggley who treats Daisy likes a personal slave and even nicknamed her Dee-Dee because she thinks her name sounds like a cowâs name. Daisy needs the job because her parents were affected by the global financial crisis and are drowning in debt. So she moved back in with her parents and puts her life on hold working at a crappy job to help them out financially. She has a strong prejudice against the rich and wealthy not understanding how good people like her parents struggle while others thrive through life. The story takes place at some type of Australian Kentucky Derby. While listening to Lynda trying to network with him, Ethan sees Daisy for the first time and easily is smitten with her. He dislikes the way that Lynda treats her. He ends up reprimanding Lynda in defense of Daisy and ends up costing Daisy her job in the process. To apologize for getting Daisy fired, Ethan offers her a temporary job until she lands another job. The title is misleading because Daisy is never his housekeeper. He hires her as an assistant or project manager overseeing the renovation of a new home he recently brought. Even though Daisy despises Ethan for being rich and handsome and doesnât think he could form any serious interest in her, she tries her hardest to fight off her growing sexual desire and physical attractive to him. She is determined to keep their relationship professional while Ethan is determined to do everything in his power not to. It is funny how Ethan continuously tries to seduce Daisy and she constantly shut down all his advances. Both of the characters are likable. Daisy is a strong female lead and the issues she goes through are very relatable. Ethan is very charming and likable and has a good heart. Something happens between them which lead Ethan to make a desperate bargain with Daisy that if she agrees be his mistress for a year, he will help her parents out of their financial despair. Itâs a great love story with two likable individuals. I truly enjoy the story and reread it from time to time.

Seems like it's hit And miss with this author. This was not really a bit, but it wasn't exactly a miss either. Just ok.

VERY LIGHT READ its your typical harlequin present book Daisy and Ethan were good together, not much conflict between them because you always have the big misunderstanding in these books but it went smoothly.

Creepy? Yes. Weird? Definitely. Romantic?.....

I listened to to the entire story hoping for a romantic ending. The writers takes you to some weird and creepy places to the point that you feel uncomfortable when the romance starts. In my opinion it was not worth a credit. Not because the writer isn't talented, I just like more romance than crime and what was done to the female lead was horrifically criminal.

Beautiful love story

It was a beautiful love story. Didn't even focus on the sex but the story. Not what I expected and in the end was pleasantly surprised. I love Eden's books because although it's erotic the stories are so human and beautiful. Makes one really believe in love.

The Mighty Quinns: Danny was a pretty good book, if predictable at times and very rushed in the HEA department. I was in love with the fact that it is a contemporary set in Ireland and the hero is Irish. That is a big weakness of mine.

I listened to this book on audio. OH GOD. Do not do this! While the story was pretty good, a solid 3, perhaps even 3 stars, the narrator was a lowly 1 star for me.

The narrator's regular voice for much of the story was perfectly fine. Her Irish accents, especially Danny's, were done well, too. But when she did Jordan's voice, she would switch, randomly, from a regular voice to a fake New Jersey accent . . . And Jordan is from New York. I'm not an expert on accents, but this accent did NOT sound like a NY native. The sound of it grated on my nerves, and the fact that the narrator would pick up and drop this accent so randomly made me twitch. One sentence Jordan would be talking in a manner that did not bother me to listen to, the next sentence/paragraph/page she would be fake NJ. Ugh.

While it is from the Blaze line, the sex was practically MIA and what was there (3 very quick scenes, I believe) bored me. I'm not asking for highly erotic and unusual scenes from every author, but if it's a Blaze, I do expect a much higher heat level than this!

Would I read another book by Kate Hoffman? Probably, there are plenty of Quinn men to choose from (almost 30 in this series it looks like!). Would I listened to another audio book by Chloe Campbell? Hm . . . I honestly don't think so. How could I be sure she wouldn't throw a random Southern accent in with an English accent or something?

Overall Story: 3 STARS!
