    Publisher's Summary:
Marty Green has two loves in life: Horses and basketball. But suffering a stroke during his first college game throws a wrench in his plans. After months spent in the hospital, recuperating under the zealous care of his overprotective parents, Marty realizes he needs to be on his own, so when he's offered a job at a ranch owned by his doctor's good friend, he takes it.
When veterinary assistant Quinn Knepper sees Marty for the first time, his heart nearly stops. He's smitten, and Marty appears interested though shy. There are just two problems: Quinn's father wants him to hide his sexuality from the world, and Marty's Wyoming Senator father is a homophobe with no idea his son is gay-which Quinn learns when the senator proposes an amendment banning gay marriage.
Dealing with two unsupportive families is a heavy burden, but Quinn vows to make it work. Unfortunately, that may mean putting his life on hold while Marty overcomes his emotional isolation-unless, of course, Marty sacrifices his happiness to his father's political ambition and ends the relationship before it gets started.

    A very good book!
Western Cowboys and Jefferson wise words made the book inspirational! Wish they make this movie one day for the big screen!
    Story Seemed Recycled
I have listened to several Andrew Grey books and, while I did enjoy this one, it seems like many parts of the plot have been recycled from previous Andrew Grey books. You will still enjoy it, I did, but I couldn't get past that.

    Sequel to Body Magic
    Triad: Book Three
Blood runs soul-deep. Cormac hasn't been the same since the night the High Moon Pack was attacked. With his magic weakened, he's consumed by a bloodlust he hasn't felt since he first became a vampire. His need to replenish his power makes him a danger to his last remaining family member, and his hunger makes him careless. And that's just the beginning of his troubles. Feeding from pack, beta Liam Benson was supposed to slake his appetite, not leave him craving more.
Simon Osborne and Gray Townsend are trying to fight a being history says shouldn't exist - one with all three types of magic. The pack must use all of their resources to combat the mysterious triad, even turning to the shady Council of Mages for help. While Cormac struggles to reconcile his past failures with his current desires, Simon must attempt the impossible: An alliance between mind, body, and soul.
    Members Reviews:
    Great ending
This was Cormack and Liam's book; however, it revolved around Simon and Grey so much, I would say this is a mixture book of Cormack and Liam's love story with Simon and Grey as main secondary characters with their own side story going on.
Simon release that he is also a triad. Also we find out who the bad triad is.... It was a good ending.. Not as much smexing going on...maybe 3 scenes in totally. It you have listen/read Body and Mind Magic...then this one is well worth a listen/read.
Narration was awesome... so perfect for these characters.
not as good as the first, narrator still bad
I dont know why i dont like Rocky who is one of the main characters in this book, but that makes the book a little hard to like. If you feel differently you might like this story just as much as the first. And i might be getting used to the narrator, because i think he is a little better in this one. Still have a tendency to sound surprised all the time, but he seems to rein it in a bit in this one.
    Wonderful continuation of the series
In the final installment of the Triad (yes, there is a book four but it is unrelated to the original series), we finally get to find out who the bad guy is and what he wants and how to stop him.
We see the development of Cormac and Liam as a couple. First, we see Liam merely trying to keep Cormac from hurting himself, Simon and others. Then, we see their mutual attraction and need for each other. Finally, their deep devotion.
However, the bulk of this plot is the story-line regarding the evil being who keeps causing trouble to Simon and his pack. It turns out he knows Cormac and that gives them a clue as to how to stop him. But not before he attempts to steal the children again and forces Simon to do something so horrible the entire pack wonders whether or not Simon should be allowed to stay. (Its very sad just a warning!)
Fortunately, Simons actions inadvertently lead them all to the final piece of the puzzle the thing they need to defeat the evil being.
With some tremendously heart rending speeches to the tune of If I die I want you to be strong without me Cormac, Gray and Simon set out to defeat the monster and (Im not surprising anyone here) emerge victorious!
We also get a really juicy Epilogue (Im a sucker for the Epilogue!) and the entire debacle ends neatly tied up bow not included.
    **
I really enjoyed this entire series and watching the growth and development of Gray and Simon as a couple.

Not as great as book 1
    Definitely a filler book...
This is a great m/m Romance paranormal series; however, this book is not as action packed as Book 1. It's a good story about the security wolf from book 1 and Cade, the alpha's best friend and the high moon pack's enforcer.
I just didn't agree with some smexing parts, but it was ok. I think this book is need to enjoy book 3, as all the main action happens at the end, and all three book are like a day or so apart in the timeline/ storyline.
Good credit or sale if planning to buy series, if not....well skips as it is not a stand alone.
    Narration was ok...
    Not a stand alone!
If you could sum up Body Magic in three words, what would they be?
    interesting, easy and stuff
What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)
it definitely made me want to keep reading on to the 3rd book. I want to know more about Simon and gray and their family. I found cade and rocky a little blah!
Have you listened to any of Robert G. Daviss other performances before? How does this one compare?
I thankfully listened book 1 first and i like his reading and expression!
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
umm yea, but i think the first book definitely a better read.
    Good series, solid narration
This is the sequel to Body Magic and we see a lot of Simon and Gray in this maybe even more than Rocky and Cade. Simon and Gray are really hammering out their relationship and helping Simon prepare for his full powers.
Simon waffles back and forth between wanting to trust his love for Gray but also wanting to be a good and independent wizard, separate from the pack and Gray.
His uncle helps him work through his emotional issues and his magickal issues as they prepare for his ceremony. But there is discord and someone has infiltrated the pack spying on the forbidden mating between shifter and wizard. When war breaks out there are people going to be hurt and Simon has to choose his side.
Meanwhile, as almost a side note, Cade and Rocky start a relationship only to be stopped cold when Cade realizes that Rocky was sent there to spy on the pack. Rocky is a very conflicted character and he needs someone as solid as Cade to help him get over his issues. Cade is shocked at first but with a minimum of fuss the two work out that Rocky has loyalty to the pack and the pair make a tentative agreement to work on a relationship together.
    **
Overall, this was a great second book in terms of seeing Gray and Simon develop more fully as a couple.

You also get the wicked wit of Marten Larsson as he learns to live (no, not 'live' exactly) as a vampire. From steamy sex to hunting rogue goons, Marten masters the art and science of vampirism. Did he want to be a vamp? Not so much.
He wanted it as much as he asked to have a sissy circle over the '' in his name. His mother didn't ask him about the name, and his Maker didn't ask if he wanted to be a vampire. He just woke up dead one day with a piece of paper that said, "Dude, you're a vampire. Drink some blood." The instructions were in a language he didn't even know.
Another vampire found Marten and agreed to teach him how to be a vamp with the proper amount of suction. Marten tells us how he did it at Vamp Camp. He has to survive without getting staked or baked. He gloats that he and his boyfriend can make love levitating on the topside of a cumulus cloud. Just don't ever mention that circle over the 'a' in his first name.
He goes from zero to Viking Vampire in about a second, and he keeps breaking things before he calms down. Join Marten as he learns how to mainstream with fangs and a blood-lust. Vamp Camp is tender, funny, sexy, and fast-paced.

Just didn't like it... I really didn't like the POV this book was read from... (1st).... but it jumps around a bit... Confusing... Then the storyline is just.. eh!

    Just a fun read!
Would you listen to Vamp Camp again? Why?

Mrten is trying to decipher why it is the sun hurts him, he can fly and jump really high and likes to drink animals dry when he meets another vampire. Menz is a centuries old vampire that lives on an estate that he runs much like a gay Peyton Place. Filled with lots of young, beautiful, sexy men (both gay and straight) that are willing blood donors. In exchange for their donation, these men live a life of luxery under the protection of Menz.
Menz takes Mrten under his wing and trains him to be a proper vampire. Menz himself is gay so he recognizes the trait in his new young trainee. On Mrten first night at the estate, Menz sets him up with a tall, handsome donor with long black hair and gorgeous blue eyes. Oberon and Mrten are instantly and insanely attracted to each other, and though they actively participate in all manners of threesomes, foursomes and orgies, they only have eyes for each other. The two start making plans to be together forever.

    Enjoyed it
    Any additional comments?
I enjoyed listening to this story. Max Lehnen did a wonderful job narrating and bringing the characters and emotion to life. All the characters were believable and developed well. I do not like books where I can't relate/connect to at least one of the characters and in this one I can connect with both. More so with Seth, with how protective and supportive he is of James. I would have reacted the same way he did throughout the entire story. I just wanted to coddle James and do everything for him. Like Seth, not because James can't do things himself but because you just want to do it for him. I loved how James slowly grew throughout the story to see himself the way everyone sees him and what he deserves. I was a bit confused as to why the "bad guy" was who it was, seemed to come out of no where for me. But in the end it did wrap up the whole story nicely and gave the MCs what they needed to move on and truly be happy.
    Missed it's mark
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
This was not time well spent. The premise was a little off the mark, but I could have suspended disbelief for the story, but Max Lehnen is not a narrator that I enjoy listening to
What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)
    Standard HEA
Would you be willing to try another one of Max Lehnens performances?
Not anything he has done in the M/M genre. It's like listening to my 60yo uncle read a story. Ick.
Do you think Designs of Desire needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
No - the storyline came to a good ending.
Very Touching and a bit of a thriller
If you could sum up Designs of Desire in three words, what would they be?
    Sexy, thriller, touching
Who was your favorite character and why?
I like Seth as he was a 'take charge' kind of guy. I thought James whined a bit too much.
What about Max Lehnens performance did you like?
VERY sexy, engaging voice... What I like about listening to books, is that I get to imagine what the narrator looks like ;)
I see someone gave him 1 start here, but I don't get that at all. I would definitely listen to another book by him
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Seth helping James through his panic attacks (I can relate).
    Any additional comments?
I wish there was more sex in the book...

    Members Reviews:
    Great story, great narration
If you could sum up Dangerous Ground in three words, what would they be?
    Fun, suspenseful, thrilling.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Taylor. He's a wild thing, a fiercely loyal friend, with a big heart and a wicked mind and sense of humor.
Have you listened to any of Adrian Bissons other performances before? How does this one compare?
First time i'm listening to an audiobook narrated by Adrian Bisson. He does a great job!!! And i find his voice just perfect for the story.
If you could rename Dangerous Ground, what would you call it?
I would never! It's a very fitting title.
    Any additional comments?
This is the first Will and Taylor adventure. They're out on a camping and hiking trip, trying to work through work-, friendship-, and possible-romance-related issues, trying to save their easy going partnership, when they stumble upon a mystery! Suddenly it's edge of seat suspense, peppered wonderfully with tender moments and humor.
    Lanyon's writing is excellent
This is a nice beginning to this series. I like both protags and the plot is tight and believable.
    Wonderful!!
This is my favorite Lanyon series. Dangerous Ground is an excellent start to it. This is a thriller not a sleuthing mystery. There are thrills, chills, and bears, oh my! Will and Taylor are on a camping vacation from their jobs as Diplomatic Security Service agents. They are working on putting their professional relationship back on an even keel after some personal trauma. However, they come across a plane wreck connected to a casino heist and then the robbers. Excitement follows!
Adrian Bisson did an outstanding job narrating! I just loved Taylor's voice. He did a wonderful job on all the voices. His pacing, inflections and overall performance really made this audio book a excellent addition to my library. The Fanyons really picked a winner when they chose Mr. Bisson to narrate the series. I'm sure the pressure was enormous, but he hit it out of the park.
Will and Taylor - a great combo
Would you listen to Dangerous Ground again? Why?
I do listen to this series all the time. I seem to re-listen to my favorites in a bit of a cycle.
What other book might you compare Dangerous Ground to and why?
Probably the Cut and Run series with Ty and Zane.
What about Adrian Bissons performance did you like?
He does very well with the voices of Will and Taylor - they are distinct and likeable. Perfect for each character. Some of the side characters (in the series) don't come off too well (like Will's brother) but he captures the two MCs perfectly.

    Publisher's Summary:
A quirky holiday romance about Faith, Hope, and...glow-in-the-dark condoms!
Three years ago, a scandal cost antiquarian "book hunter" James Winter everything that mattered to him: his job, his lover and his self-respect. But now the rich and unscrupulous Mr. Stephanopoulos has a proposition.
A previously unpublished Christmas book by Charles Dickens has turned up in the hands of an English chemistry professor by the name of Sedgwick Crisparkle. Mr. S. wants that book at any price, and he needs James to get it for him. There's just one catch. James can't tell the nutty professor who the buyer is.
Actually, two catches. The nutty Professor Crisparkle turns out to be totally gorgeous-and on the prowl. Faster than you can say, "Old Saint Nick," James is mixing business with pleasure...and in real danger of forgetting that this is just a holiday romance.
Just as they're well on the way to having their peppermint sticks and eating them too, Sedgwick discovers the truth. James has been a very bad boy. And any chance Santa will bring him what he wants most is disappearing quicker than the Jolly Old Elf's sleigh.

    Awwwww....
Sweet Christmas story by a renowned author and the ultimate voice actor.
I love everything that Josh writes and Sean performs.
    Always leaves me wanting more.
    Excellent!
Would you consider the audio edition of The Dickens with Love to be better than the print version?
They're both excellent. I enjoy Sean Crisden's narration style very much. It's the story i know and love but with a slightly different spin on it.
    Which scene was your favorite?
My favorite - two - scenes are the one with the ocelot and the final scene, especially what Sedgwick tells James.
    Any additional comments?
This is such a lovely story. It's sweet and funny and romantic, and i love the mysteriousness surrounding the book and all it stands for in the story. It's perfect for the holidays, but really, for any time one wants a boost of happy feeling.

    Editorial Reviews:
Accomplished actor Heather Wilds' enthusiastic and warm voice is a perfect mate to Andrea Bramhall's debut novel, Ladyfish. With a forceful energy, Wilds brings to life all of the tension and romance from Bramhall's Florida Keys where two women are on a crash course for love or complete disaster. Olivia Zuckerman is a pro scuba diving instructor, but she is also a pro at courting women. Daniela Finnsbury-Sterling is a rebellious girl trying to shed the influence of her father. When she turns up in Florida, there is no telling what will happen.

    Charming, funny and sweet.
Would you consider the audio edition of Ladyfish to be better than the print version?
    Can't compare.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Ladyfish?
I loved the accents and "personas" that Heather Wilds gave the characters.
Have you listened to any of Heather Wildss other performances before? How does this one compare?
    No.
If you could take any character from Ladyfish out to dinner, who would it be and why?
Definitely Finn! Sweet, kind, intelligent and witty as hell... the total package!
    Any additional comments?
LOVED Heather Wilds performance as the narrator!
A nice distraction for an afternoon of labor.
I listened to this audiobook while shoveling out a water feature and building a rock wall. it was a nice distraction. I was impressed by the lack of cliched characters among the book's core; with the possible exception of the book's villain. The author went a little overboard on the protagonists sexual past, and her love interests lack thereof, but it was only a small distraction. Overall the story is pretty good, and it flows well. The science in the book, as well as the military background of the protagonists family adds to it.
Not really what I had hoped for.
This book wasnt for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
Maybe someone more interested in diving? Or someone not interested in romance or intimate scenes. Because this book was a little shallow in those areas. So to speak.
What do you think your next listen will be?
I think I will go back to some mystery/drama stories. I enjoy a good Dexter book, or Reacher. I listen at work so anything longer than 15 hours is good. Gives me some entertainment for a couple days. Anything less just seems short and not worth the expense. I've just about exhausted the lesbian romance genre on audible. For now.
What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?
The narrator was enjoyable. I was thinking they would do a search for the missing mom. Some parts seemed rushed, and some seemed not to get a proper ending.

    Really great story
I love the story and Abby Craden always does a great job putting feeling behind the voices .
    nice listen
I enjoyed but would have liked a little more detailed of how they saw each other in a different light after 5 years of friendship. However, any story with Abby Craden narration is worth listening to. She always does such an amazing job!!!
    Nice romantic story
Nothing stands out too much in this story, but its nice and enjoyable read. The narrator Abby Craden is one of the best from my perspective. She also does the Honor novels by Radcyffe. The cover for this is miss leading and is a shame as does not represent the story with in. What is special about this story as it successfully describes and expresses the emotions of a break up when both are afraid to approach the subject, and finally one of the pair must be brave and to move both on and make them happy, as well as taking the blame. Something I need to do, so this called to me. The romance is pretty straight forward and the story does not contain a lot of drama, but its a pleasant and good story. The style is very similar to Radcyffe so works well. I recommend it.
    This is really disappointing
There is nothing positive that I personally can find details to say about this book.
A regrettable purchase. The title and description are VERY misleading.

Joe wakes up in a barley field with no clothes, no memories, and no idea how he got there. Before he knows it, he's off on the last great journey of his life. With his soul guide Baker and a charge to have courage from a mysterious, alluring, and somehow familiar Stranger, Joe sets off through a fantastical changing landscape to confront his past. The quest is not without challenges. Joe's past is not always an easy thing to relive, but if he wants to find peace - and reunite with the Stranger he is so strongly drawn to - he must continue on until the end, no matter how tempted he is to stop along the way.

    Concentration needed...
To fully grasp the premise of this book, you will need to make certain that you are listening intently and are completely concentrating on the tale that is being presented. If not, you will have to start over. The first part of the book was a bit confusing for me. First, I thought perhaps it had to do with this being an audio book, but after actually reading the first part of the book I discovered it was indeed a bit confusing. With all that, after you join Joe on his journey of self-discovery, the tale is filled with subjective perceptions and you certainly enjoy the adventure. I enjoyed the presence of Bette...but many probably will not get the reference. I am just from the old school. I did like this book, after I caught up to or got on the same level as Eric Arvin's thoughts. Charlie David did a great job, as usual, in telling the story and providing differing attributes for the characters. I do recommend, just go slowly and concentrate. Of course, it could just have been me!!!
    What happens after DEATH !
If you could sum up Woke Up in a Strange Place in three words, what would they be?
    imagine this happening
What was one of the most memorable moments of Woke Up in a Strange Place?
What we are told as young people, this could all change in what could be. This could actually happen. We don't really know what happens after death....
Which character as performed by Charlie David was your favorite?
Main character- is the best to focus on.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
    The road to experience.
    Any additional comments?
This book opens the mind to accept what we could want to happen and what might happen. Loved this book cause it gives an alternate afterlife then what we have been told.
    strange very strange
Would you consider the audio edition of Woke Up in a Strange Place to be better than the print version?
    i don't know, i never read it.
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
I think the story was fine, I just lost interest and that's something considering i adore everything Charlie David. I'm going to wait awhile and go back to it. I'm thinking I should like this audiobook.
    Which scene was your favorite?
I kept thinking is he dead? is he dreaming?
    Any additional comments?
Mystical, I guess that's a good word to describe this book
    Is This Heaven or Hell?
I can't give away the plot of the book, but I was expecting gay romance or erotica, not a jumbled mess of a third rate (is there a lower rate?) attempt at literature, filled with schlocky metaphors and vain attempts to become a a gay C.S.Lewis and Salinger. Pretentious. The reader, God bless his attempts to add some character, just made it worse. I dare anyone to make it to the end of this torturous tale.
